About: I am a dog mom to 3 medium sized babies, of various ages. All three are rescues with their own personalities, including various levels of energy and needs. I have several years of rescue experience, as well as several additional years as a dog owner. I am experienced with medication administration and dietary needs. I’ve worked with dogs as young as 8 weeks and as old as 15 years+. I have experience in obedience and behavioral training, and am able to service social dogs and human-preferred dogs. I have experience in providing senior/hospice fostering/adoption. Most importantly, I love dogs. I think each one is precious and special, and deserves treatment tailored to their needs. I have three dogs of my own that I care for daily with my family. This includes daily care and weekly walks/play time, as well as enrichment. I work 5 days a week, Monday thru Friday, and can only provide daily check-ins and walking within a 20 minutes radius, after 5:00pm or before 7:00am. I can provide overnights on weekends, starting Friday after 5:00pm through Monday morning before 7:00am. I utilize an individual strategy for every individual dog. I prepare enrichment activities, with awareness of allergies and preference, and provide walks and activity as needed by the individual dog. If I am doing check-ins or overnights, I am a strong communicator.

About: I have loved animals from a very young age, convincing my parents to get me my own dog when I was 10 years old. Her name was Zoey! I trained her myself, and she was my best friend. Not long after that, I began dog sitting for friends and eventually also spent time cat sitting and taking care of animals like chickens and bunnies. I adore pets of all shapes and sizes, and I understand entirely the immense value they have in our lives. I want nothing more than to make you feel safe allowing me to care for your best friends. I am occupied from 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday, but I am free most weekends and available to care for pets in the evenings. I make sure all animals are well fed and watered as fits their schedule. Also, I understand the importance of activity and quality time and make sure to play with them, take them on regular walks, and give them lots of love.

Lucilla was great! This was my first time using Rover and it did not disappoint. I had set up 30min drop-in visits and Lucilla was wonderful at sending updates and photos whenever she came to check in on Sampson. I would definitely suggested reaching out to her to take care of your furry family members.

About: I have had a fur baby in my life since I was young, having a dog and/or cat completes my family. I am very loving and attentive. Having a fully fenced in yard with room to run will allow your baby to have fun, get excercise, and have independence. I am always up for a nice bath to calm, soothe, or just clean your baby if needed. I promise to take great care of your fur baby! I also have experience with breathing issues, special food requirements, and climate control. I also have experience with goats and macaws. I am the owner of a small business so I have plenty of time on my hands since I have started working from home. I am available 24/7, just let me know when you need a sitter and we can work out a schedule for your needs. The only items you need to bring: collar, leash, and food. You can bring special toy or blanket too if you would like. I have a small Boston terrier named Bella that just loves everybody, she has never been aggressive or bit anyone. I have a crazy, silly cat named Benny that is very shy but mostly likes girl dogs. Bella plays inside and out, but Bennie is purely an indoor girl.

Our 3 dogs are vocal and high energy, and Kiara commanded the room when she walked in. They are all sizes and temperaments. She settled them down, got them out for walks and sent us photos. Everything went to plan. She is as advertised and a very experienced dog handler. Book with confidence. Thanks.

About: I currently work at a dog kennel and just looking for extra income. I love my job and treat all of our dogs like I do mine. This is the slow period and I have extra time so I figured I would look for extra income. What better way than to find more pets to love and care for. I am available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I do have a special needs daughter who is 17 that will be with me if it is away from my house. I know each pet will be different from the last but I will care for your pet the way you do. We can sit and discuss the routine your pet is use to and go from there.

About: We will treat your dog(s) as our own. My friends tell me I have a special way of patting dogs and they (the dogs) seem to love it. They will get good belly rubs, behind-the-ear scratches and whatever love they need from both my husband and me. Our large fenced yard will entice your dog(s) to run and play as well as relax. We are comfortable looking after more than one dog at a time as we have a dog of our own. Just an FYI, Fiona, our 14.5 year old passed away in December 2023. We adopted Meeka in February 2024 who loves playing with other dogs and people. We also just adopted Simba in mid-April 2024. He is slowly getting socialized and loves playing with Meeka. They definitely keep each other company! Your dogs will also feel more comfortable in our house knowing that they are welcome and have familiar dog faces and smells here. I am also comfortable taking care of your dog(s) in your house to ensure your fur-children continue to stay in the comforts of their own homes. My husband and I look forward to meeting you and your dog(s) soon. My husband and I do this together. We both work full-time at the office but I work 2 days from home. During the in-office days, we will let the dogs out when we wake up and after one of us get back home. The other two days and on weekends, they get let out every 2-3 hours or as and when they need to go. My husband helps me when he’s home and we go for daily walks in the evenings and weekends. We love patting and playing with them as that’s our routine with our own dogs so rest assured, we’ll make sure your dog gets loved too. Meet and greets are always preferred because we want to make sure you’re comfortable with our family and vice versa. If your dog(s) will be in our home, my husband will be helping out. Therefore, we want to make sure our pups play well with each other too. If you need a house sitter while you’re gone because it’s easier and better for your pets to be in the comforts of their own home, it’ll either be my husband or I. In this case, we want to make sure you’re comfortable with both of us. Boarding/Daycare: We have a fenced backyard and require all boarders to be crate-trained and come with a crate, especially for feeding time and if things get wild. For older dogs like when we had Fiona, she struggled to go up and down the deck stairs so I let her out in the front yard which isn’t fenced. However, I went with her and she was great at not taking off with me and my husband. Meeka and Simba are always leashed when they get let out in the front. If you’re worried about your dog being in the front yard, we will always use a leash. Otherwise, the backyard is more than sufficient if they’re okay with stairs. Home Sitting: We will do our best to stick with your routine with your dog. I do work full-time, 2 days from home and my husband goes to the office all 5 days. If your dog loves walks/car rides, we'd be happy to have them meet ours and they can walk together. If there are other animals in your home that's need to be card for, please let us know. I am an animal lover and will learn quickly to care for animals I’ve not taken care of before.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Caro stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Caro. On Rover:

  • 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
