About: I bred Golden Retrievers for several years and sold the puppies through Yahoo Pets. I have had 4 dogs. The first 3 passed of old age and I still have the fourth. She is 17 years old! I do not work a regular job because of a disability which gives me plenty of time to care for your pet exceptionally well guys! I live on 7 acres in a rural neighborhood. My yard is partially fenced giving your dog plenty of space to walk and run around!

About: Been taken care of my dogs and cats for about 5 years. First was overwhelmed when I first gotten my dog when he was 3 month and now he 5. Since I have nothing to do on Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday. I am looking to do extra time taking care of pets to keep me active. I am a responsible pets lovely person. I will always make sure pets owner are comfortable with me putting their pets in a crate if needed or not for safety reason. Most of the time I don't like to put pets in crate and love to see them free.

About: I am a dog owner of 2 German shepherds and previously I had 2 black labs. I have trained them all to be off leash walkers and very well mannered in public areas. My love for animals is dramatic and I aspire to give the affection to more animals than I can contain in my own home. I am a stay at home mom so I am home all day every day. Our weekend are typically free outside of an arcade visit on some Saturdays. I am vigilant in my efforts to keep dogs safety and happiness my top priority. My dogs have given me so much in my life that I only want every dog to have the best life they can live. About: I have been owned by cats and dogs in the past. I recently transferred with my job from the East Coast to Utah, and now reside in Northern California and currently frequent the Humane Society to visit with the cats and dogs waiting for homes. Pet Sitting - I am able to walk them/feed in the mornings and after 5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and Thursday - Sundays more frequently. I do prefer overnight pet sitting. I am reliable, responsible and have a "knack" with most pets. I do need to know about any behavioral issues (likes to chew on things that aren't their toys for example). Do they do well with new people? I prefer not to sit pit bull terriers, but mixed breeds I don't have a problem with. A little about me: I worked at a petsmart in the grooming salon where we had to take extensive courses on dogs and cats, so I have experience working with dogs/cats from all walks of life. I have befriended anxious dogs who usually fear humans and earned the acceptance of aggressive dogs. Animals tend to like me regardless of their personalities. About: I was raised on a ranch with all kinds of pets. I can't recall life without dogs we are so fortunate to have them in our lives they are unconditional in the love and affection they give . I was in dog rescue for 21 years as a foster. I had 7 dogs all were what was considered not able to be put in a home do to behavior issues the only option for these dogs was to be euthanized so I kept the rejects and had to stop rescue as to the inn was full and I still dog sat for the dogs that had been at my home until a new home was found . I have extensive experience with all types of dogs . I have a cat who pretends dogs do not exist so she just stays away, my cat was a ferel rescue cat and is now a fat and sassy house cat . I have a large home so have part of it sectioned off where her litter box and food are to keep dogs out of both . If I house sit I have experience with farm animals for feeding. I garden so watering is in my range. I'm home 75% of the time so I'm available. I may run a errand but that's about it . If weather permits and you have a road dog car rides with me are perfect. I spend a lot of my time cooking and blogging I cook for seniors in my community. If I'm gardening outside the dogs are welcome to be with me. I have a double lot so plenty of play room . Half of it is fenced for plenty of play room . I have a crate if needed . Your dog will have free roaming access in my home and allowed on the furniture . If I'm sitting your pet in your home it's your home and your rules that I follow . I have passed my Background check here on Rover to take care of your fur babies. I have passed my 2nd Government Background check to take care of children. I have passed my 3rd Goverment Background check to take care of elders . The point is I want you to be assured your fur babies are safe with me .

About: I had a Basset Hound named George that I had gotten from an animal shelter in 2009, the vet guessed his age to be around 6. He was the sweetest and goofiest character that kept me entertained every day! He was diagnosed with lung cancer in June of 2016. The vet said he only had 6 mos. to live without treatment. I dedicated all my time and energy to help this dog live as long as possible with chemo and radiation treatments and a slew of medications. He lived exactly 2 years after his diagnosis. Up until his very last day you would have never known this special boy had an illness. He was an amazing dog and very dear to my heart and I still miss him every day. I will take this same dedication to take care of your pet because I know how special they can be to someone!! I work 10 hour shifts during the day in the xray field. I would be available on the days that I'm not at work to do drop in visits or walks. I would follow any instructions or rules you set for me. I think everyone has a different opinion on what is best for their pets. It's as simple as that!!

About: I’ve raised puppies, kittens, baby birds, chickens and various other animals, I’ve also had experience working on a dog farm and groomed various types of breeds. I’m available for part-time work and am flexible when it comes to scheduling. I am open to working Monday-Sun as long as it’s planned at least a week in advance. I have a fenced large yard with two separate deck areas, I am open to bringing the pets over and housing them or going to a clients house and pet sitting, walking or even bathing if needed in a comfortable and familiar place for the pet.

About: UPDATE: 12/07/2023:Moved to San Jose and do not offer boarding or daycare at this time. My children and I started watching dogs in 2013 as a way for them to have the experience of having a furry friend and the responsibility it teaches. Over the years we have had the pleasure of bonding with regulars (the dogs, cats and sometimes the people too!) learning about breed specific tendencies and characteristics and have and continue to enjoy having the furry guests stay with us. My kids have since grown up and moved out on their own. Restless in my empty nest I have moved on. As such my house is no longer available for boarding. However, I am continuing to house sit which I started doing about a year or so prior to having doggy guests. I am also available for drop in visits and walking services. Feel free to contact me with any questions! Cheers! I work remotely with an occasional trip to visit project sites. My schedule is flexible enough to fit with your pups needs as closely as possible so they have some consistency. Dog/cat/house-sitting provides a familiar environment for the animals to be most comfortable in. However, a potential issue arises when a dog is particularly territorial and the sitter seen as an invader. Please keep this in mind when requesting a house-sitter. As the temporary care taker of the domain and those subject to that sphere of influence I do my utmost to keep things as normal and routine as absentee authority. Having a stranger in the home can make people a bit uneasy. Cameras in "common areas" can help bring some relief. Being able to "pop in" is convenient. If you do not have cameras we can schedule video chats if you like. Trust is built over time and communication about likes and dislikes is very much appreciated. I do not have other people that tag along with me but if I could persuade her, I'd bring my daughter. But this would be discussed and done with permission of course.

I started off my taking care of my own dogs and cats then I started taking care of other people’s pets because I love animals and love to spend time with them. I have taken care of big and small dogs and cats. I rescued my own cats and slowly showed them that they didn’t have to be scared of people. I taught my dogs tricks using basic commands.
