About: I've been around animals around pretty much my whole life. I've had 3 cats and 3 dogs growing up, and I started caring for them myself by the age of 10. I've also had hamsters, guinea pigs, and a hedgehog. Making sure that pets feel safe and loved is my #1 goal. I work full time, but I have no problem checking in on them before my shifts and after my shifts. It makes my days feel more fulfilled. I will take your dogs out for walks around the neighborhood, play with them outside in the yard, and always make sure that they are safe.
“Olivia was absolutely wonderful while we were away! She dropped in twice to let our dogs out, feed them, and make sure they were well cared for. She treated our home with so much respect and care, truly like it was her own. One of our favorite parts was all the beautiful pictures she took of the dogs while we were gone, it gave us so much peace of mind and made us smile seeing how happy and comfortable they were. You can really tell she genuinely cares about animals.”

“Amanda is great! She took amazing care of our dog and cat while we were gone for a weekend. She always arrived on time and sent great photos and updates. She clearly loves all animals and showed both of ours the same love. I would highly recommend and will be booking her again:)”

“Emily is great. I can tell she really cares for animals and my dog (and fish) would agree. She’s punctual and shared plenty of picture updates while we were away. I definitely recommend Emily for your pet sitting needs! 😃”

“This was my first time using Rover for my dog, I was a little nervous about my dog not being cared for by family. But Isabel was so kind and friendly. She sent me messages and pictures of my Oliver when I was away. I was so impressed by this service. I know my dog is a handful but he seemed very happy the whole weekend. I will absolutely recommend Isabel!! I hope she is available to help next time I am out of town. Thank you so much Isabel!!!”

“Jessica is great with the drop-in visit's while I was out of town! Arrived on-time and sent a card with Blizzard's picture to let me know how he was doing. Would definitely use her again!!”

“Reggi was great with my cat, Noodle! We appreciated the ease of communication with Reggi through texts and the Rover app. She checked in every day, sent photos, and Noodle was as happy as a kitty can be when we finally arrived home after our long holiday away. She kept us updated on Noodle's appetite and other habits and did everything we asked of her. We'd love to have her back to take care of our kitty the next time we have to go out of town.”

“First time booking wirh Michelle. She lives in the same town, has all kinds of pets & loves cats. We scheduled a meet & greet to learn what the pets needed. I appreciated that very much. Michelle took fed & watered & took photos of my outdoor cats and also tried to have cuddle, offer affection & pet them time as booked, but cats werent used to her. I thanked her for trying. Good experience and very reliable.”

“Taylor was absolutely fantastic! I am very nervous leaving my big German shepherd with anyone (I’m a bit of a helicopter parent) but Taylor got on with him very well! She dropped in on him during a very long day at work for me, gave him a bit of attention and a potty break, and all went smoothly! She communicated quickly when she was with him and even brought in my heavy chewy box of dog food that was delivered! I can’t say how happy I am to have someone that seems to like my big boy and will be able to take care of him when I need. Taylor is awesome!!”

About: I have taken care of dogs and puppies since the beginning of high school. Friends and family have always asked me back to care for their animals while they are away. I have done basic training with puppies, have taken care of senior dogs, and am able to give medication if needed. I am currently in college and on summer break. I have always very open schedule at the moment and am willing to care for animals almost any day of the week at any time. I will only care for animals in the clients' home and I will assure to follow everything that the client leaves me regarding their pet and their home.
About: I graduated in May of 2025 from the Madison Area Technical College Veterinary Technician Program, then passed the VTNE to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. In school we worked with dogs, cats, horses, cows, and lambs. I have had dogs since I was a child, and I currently have 2 dogs and 1 cat. I worked on a farm taking care of horses for about two and a half years from 2020-2022. I've taken care of pets for friends/family for many years as well! I currently work at a vet hospital, though I am out on FMLA. Unfortunately, that means I can only take on pets less than 30 lbs at the moment. If you're looking for someone to take extra care of your pets, please reach out to see if we're a good fit! I'm currently working full time as a certified veterinary technician at a veterinary hospital. I work 40 hours a week with a varying schedule. Generally I work 8 am - 6 pm four days a week (my day off during the week changes each week). I work on Saturday about once per month. My rover clients will be scheduled around that availability. I currently live in an apartment with a cat and will not be able to watch clients' pets in my home. If I am watching pets in the client's home, I will take care of them the way I would take care of mine. I am respectful and conscientious of your personal space and privacy.

About: Had cats all my life and dogs for last 12 years. Animals have a sixth sense about people and I'm one of those they seek out for rubs, cuddles, playtime, snacks and love... I'm working FT so im only available evenings after 5 and all times on the weekends. I'm also available for overnights at your location and can leave for work from anywhere. I will only be able to care for pets at your home as we currently have 2 cats (one who is very persnickedy) and a senior dog rescue who is going blind and is afraid of everyone.
About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I understand that every pet has a unique personality, routine, and comfort level. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, with a special appreciation for senior pets and those who need extra patience or consistency. One of the most meaningful experiences I've had was adopting a 12-year-old cat that developed chronic kidney disease (CKD). I cared for her through nearly four years of treatment, managing medications, hydration, appetite, weight, and daily routines until she passed away just shy of her 16th birthday. That experience taught me the importance of careful observation, consistency, and recognizing subtle changes in behavior that can indicate something isn't right. I also have experience caring for a Yorkshire Terrier and understand the unique needs of toy breeds, including their size, energy, and safety considerations. Several family members and friends have larger dogs that I take on walks and care for when they're away. Professionally, my background is in consulting and project management, which has made me highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented. I follow instructions carefully, communicate proactively, and believe pet owners deserve regular updates and photos so they can enjoy their time away with confidence. My goal is always to care for your pets the way I would want someone to care for my own. Pet sitting fits well into my schedule, allowing me to provide reliable, attentive care while maintaining flexibility. I currently offer overnight house sitting, typically from approximately 7:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m., when many pets appreciate the comfort of having someone with them overnight. During the day, I may have other work or personal commitments depending on the booking, but I always communicate my schedule in advance so expectations are clear. I strive to keep pets on their normal routines for meals, potty breaks, playtime, medications, and companionship while respecting the schedule that works best for each household. I understand how important consistency is for animals, especially seniors or pets with medical needs, and I do my best to minimize disruptions to their daily routine. I am able to pick up your animal and drop them off for an additional fee ($10 / day). When caring for pets in a client's home, my priority is maintaining the environment and routines they already know. I carefully follow your instructions for feeding, medications, walks, exercise, household rules, and any special care your pet requires. I take time to build trust with each animal, allowing shy or anxious pets to become comfortable at their own pace. Safety is extremely important to me. I pay close attention during walks, keep doors and gates secure, monitor pets for changes in behavior or health, and never hesitate to contact an owner if I have a question or concern. I also treat every home with the same respect I would expect someone to show mine, keeping it clean, secure, and well cared for during your absence. Communication is a key part of my service. You can expect regular updates and photos so you know how your pets are doing and can have peace of mind while you're away.

“Kristen was very professional. She appears to love animals. She was a sitter for my dog Bella and it was the first time Bella ever had a Pet Sitter. When I got home Bella was happy and well cared for. I will sure use Kristen for future and I recommend her highly.”

About: I've owned many animals over my life, cats, dogs, horses, chickens, lizards. I've taken my dogs to animal chiropractors, trained my horse and distributed meds accordingly to my senior animals. I've also pet sit for my older siblings on many occasions. I understand that the needs of every animal is different and needs to be attended to. I am currently trying to apprentice in a very competitive field and pet sitting is my in between job while I look for better positions. I live on a small farm, before my dogs passed I walked them twice a day, I have bout toys and boxes to entertain my cats, handled my lizard with care and an appropriately sized tank, and trained my horse slowly and it has really kept him healthy in his old age. Animals in my care will receive the attention, exercise and safety they need. I have a very open schedule as I am not yet employed but have applied at pharmacies. I also work a couple shifts at the Cold Stone and get to bring home ice cream oftentimes. I feed them and change their water every everyday, play with them, search for enriching toys for them to play with. With. Sometimes I put on TV for them and my girl cat likes when I rock her.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
