“Rachel was absolutely incredible! She went above and beyond to take care of Baylie and Peanutt—keeping me updated with sweet messages and the cutest photos. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in such great hands. I came home to two happy, relaxed pets and everything was perfect. I can’t recommend Rachel enough—she’s truly one of the best sitters we’ve ever had!”

“I was so glad to have Sarah as a return sitter. When I got home my pup was happy and healthy and the place was clean. She also provided updates and timely communication, and I will definitely book with her again!”

“Erica did a fantastic job taking care of my furball! She communicated clearly and was very polite, Maggie must’ve liked her as well because she came out to visit each time Erica came by. I will definitely reach out to Erica in the future!”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better kitty sitter for my Charlie! Fiona not only did a great job in taking care of her and trying to warm up to her, despite her shyness, but even gave me some tips leading up to the cat sitting on how I can help improve my cat’s relationship with my girlfriend! I will definitely be looking to Fiona again if I need a cat sitter for a long trip again!”

I have two dogs very sweet and I don’t like next to a road.
“Charlene is terrific! So patient and kind with my two crazy dogs. Couldn’t ask for a better, more loving person to check in on them. She has been more than willing to spend time with my large dog who has terrible anxiety and isn’t great with strangers but he took to her immediately which is how I knew I made the right choice when choosing her as a sitter. So thankful we found her!”
“Hollynn was truly amazing. I have never used a pet sitter before and was anxious about a stranger watching my furbaby, but she made it an outstanding experience for us and our cat. Before our scheduled dates, Hollynn visited our home to get the keys, meet our cat, and become familiar with our cats’ needs. She asked questions to thoroughly cover our expectations for care and left our home as clean as we left it! Hollynn truly went above and beyond to help with extra duties around the house like watering plants, offering to get our mail, and even feeding our fish. Our cat also takes a daily pill, which she gave to him with ease. She put her all into caring for our kitty and never failed to provide daily updates, videos, and pictures! I highly recommend her as a pet sitter and can’t wait to book her again for our future pet sitting needs!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
