About: Hey guys, I grew up always having a pet in my life and I could not image having my life without one. They truly are family. They have brought so much joy into my life as I'm sure yours do. When I watch your pup(s) they are guaranteed to have a good time and be very well taken care of. I love cats as well!!! I can host in my house or stop by or take them on a nice long walk. I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby(s).
“Starre is a wonderful very responsible pet sitter. She goes beyond her responsibilities and is gentle and loving with my kitty Izzy. I will definitely request her in the future and highly recommend her.”
About: I’ve had dogs as long as I can remember. Currently, my wife and I have 2 of our own that we adore! We have a 2 year old labradoodle and an 8mo old mini golden doodle. They love to play with other dogs. We have a lovely fenced in yard that they can safely enjoy together. Our dogs are our babies so I know how special your pets are to you. Send me a message if you need any and all pet care. My wife is currently working a travel assignment here in Yuma. I am looking for something to keep me busy during the days, I am free any time to care for your pets! Supervised play time outside is important as there are a lot of things that could cause potential harm to our pups in the desert. Lots of water available 24/7 and short/frequent outside playtime during the hottest part of the day.

“Annetta came to take care of my cat. We set up a schedule and during the time she was here I requested her to stay at least 30 min. Cleo hates being alone. Annetta decided to read aloud to her which seemed to work. Cleo is also very shy but Annetta got a few pics of her. Great job taking care of my baby girl. Thanks.”

“Haley was wonderful!! She took such great care of our dog, Sadie! It’s hard to find sitters who are patient with an anxious dog, and Haley went above and beyond. Plus, when we got home, she had left a gift bag with a new dog toy and thank you card! How sweet!!! We’re SO thankful for Haley!”

About: My family has had dogs my entire life. Several years ago a neighbor of ours fell ill and needed surgery. I walked her dog every day for three months to use the bathroom and have play time outdoors until she healed. When she went on vacations, I would dog sit for two weeks at a time. I enjoyed caring for the home and her dog so much that I continued with these services for several other people. Everything from playing with their dogs, walking them, taking them out for potty breaks, feeding them, and taking care of their home. I've come to love them and still have great relationships with the families. To those reading, it would be my pleasure to care for your animals as well! I am currently working as a self-employed freelancer and I have plenty of time to take care of your pets and your home! I am flexible with scheduling and will accommodate your needs whenever possible. I provide the services my client's need, adapting to each pet and housing situation. Of course I will be covering basic needs like water, food and potty breaks, but I will also go above and beyond giving lots of love and attention to your pet.
“Just wanted to let you know what a great job you did! Wish I could get you in every time I have to leave home because I can tell how much my baby loved you and what good care you took with her! Thank you so….o much!!! Got in early today just after 10:30am !!”

“I hired Megan to take care of my kitty, who has intestinal issues and requires some extra care. She came on time each day and did a great job cleaning the litter boxes (that are extra dirty because of the issues) and making sure all of my kitty's needs were taking care of correctly. My kitty loved her and was calm and at ease. I would definitely hire her again and highly recommend her as a pet sitter!”

About: I’ve had dogs in my family and in my home all my life. Puppies and old dogs, big and small breeds. I’ve dog sat for family members and have always had a dog with me. i currently make my own work schedule doing deliveries like doordash so i always have time to stop and take care of your furry friends. Id like to come to my clients home being that i have a dog that doesn’t do well with new dogs in his home. But im fine with walking them or letting them out if you have a fenced yard. I can feed them and do just about anything else they might need.
About: I have cared for many different animals, from snakes to puppies. I have delivered puppies, I have helped train horses and potty train dogs. Nor you or your fur pet will be disappointed! Just remember, your pets need a vacation to sometimes! 🤣 I work 5 days a week, from 8-3. Im off Saturdays and Sundays. I'm just looking for a fun partime job. I will be able to manage when I get off my full time job. I have a small but humble home, with a friendly cat to keep your fur babies comfortable and occupied. I have a spacious yard and many toys! Pet care is a daily job for me. I have a cat that is very affectionate and loves treats. Though, Dog care over a weeks time would mean a lot more attention so plenty of walks at least twice a day lots of playtime and lots of cuddles when they get tired. We do not have a fenced in yard but we do have a very long leash that cannot reach the road so your pups will be safe and we can still have tons of fun

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
