As an Animal Sciences graduate with 12 years of experience in Veterinary Medicine, 3 years of fostering rescues, and 5 years of raising farm animals, you can trust that I have seen it all. This gives me the ability to go in late, leave at lunch to let pets out/ give mid-day medications, or leave work early. If I have to go into work or leave the house, I have comfy dog beds, toys, and peanut butter Kongs to keep your fur baby cozy and happy until I return. If your pet prefers to be kenneled, I can provide a small or large kennel. Pet cameras are also installed in the house to give you the extra peace of mind that your dog is monitored even when I am away. Our home is on a quiet gravel road that borders the forest, so your pet can enjoy some tranquility while being entertained by wildlife. I have a fenced yard with two friendly dogs to keep your pet company. Both dogs have had years of experience with foster dogs in our home and being around other animals in the veterinary clinic. My daughter also lives in the home and is an animal lover like me. She has grown up learning how to give animals the care and space they need. My daughter shows yearly in 4H Obedience and Agility and would love to play with your pet if they desire a human playmate. While she may be around your pet(s), she will never be left alone or responsible for them. We have cameras in the yard and home to monitor the pets while we are away. Pets can be separated by rooms or kennels on request or if I need to leave for work or an appointment. I can provide kenels from small-large size and/or a private apartment for those that need their own quiet space.
About: Are you a good boy or girl? Do you enjoy a nice frolic in the field just like the rest of us? Are you addicted to belly rubs? If so, (or even if not) let me take care of you! Growing up in the country I've had a lifetime experience caring for all sorts of creatures, but mainly with those that 'woof' or 'meow.' Due to my loving nature of these four-legged animals, I've encountered many interactions and play dates with dogs of all shapes and sizes. As a former teacher, I know the importance of using a firm voice and using visual gesture cues to communicate with another kind (jk I LOVE children as well.) I don't mean to brag, but I'd like to think I was built to be a great dog walker with being 6'1 and all. Plus, who likes to RUN?! Ready, set, let's go! Although I love having a ball with some barkers, I currently spoil and cuddle with two perfect purr-ers in my household on a daily basis. About: I have been around and loved dogs for my entire life. One of our family dogs had two litters while I was in high school and I helped take care of and raise the puppies. I also frequently pet-sat for neighbors and friends. Last year my wife and I adopted a puppy from Puerto Rico who we adore. I look forward to giving your pets the care and love they deserve! I do freelance work as a musician and dancer, so I have a fairly unpredictable schedule. Currently I am available on weekdays from 8 AM to 10 PM but I can be available on some weekends. I am happy to play with your dogs in their home or yard, to work on training as needed (our dog has been in training courses for around six months), or to do whatever else your dog will enjoy! I also enjoy walks and am happy to take your dog around the neighborhood or to nearby parks.

About: Just a stay at home mom who also loves fur babies. I love my fur babies as if they were real human babies, and I’ll do the same with yours! I am currently a stay at home mom so I am available all day. Whether that’s for walks, midday drop in’s, or even needing someone for longer periods of time. If at my house your fur babies will be allowed on furniture. They will be treated as with respect and love. Given many lovings as needed.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
