About: Hello! My name is Harley, I am pursuing my masters degree at UTSA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have been with Rover since 2021 now. I have been an animal lover my whole life. I've had dogs since I was born, from a Dalmatian, to a Chihuahua, and currently I have two female dogs, Lola and Cato, but they do not live with me. I grew up bringing home stray dogs and cats all the time and finding good homes for them. I also grew up with dogs my whole life as well. I volunteered at Gladys Porter Zoo in Brownsville, Texas for a while where I would clean and prepare food for all kinds of critters, such as, rabbits, snakes, raccoons, guinea pigs, ferrets, tortoises, parrots, possums etc. I've babysat many fur babies and scaly babies (reptiles) for friends and family members. I also pet-sat for 2 months for my friend's pet chameleon, so it's safe to say that I have a lot of experience with animals. I love both dogs and cats equally, I am an animal person all around. And I love pets that love to cuddle! I promise to ensure your pet's maximum safety and treat them as if they were my own - with unconditional love, kindness, and care. I love details and specifics, it makes things a lot easier for me and for the pet I am taking care of, I want to make sure that every client and pet is comfortable and that owners can have a stress-free relaxing trip while they are away. I'm very punctual and I prioritize making sure that every client and pet is being cared for as best as possible. Depending on the client's request will vary on how I will care for the pets, I like to know specifics and I like to follow directions, but regardless each pet I look after will be loved and cared for. I'm looking for owners and families that need a one time sitter or a reoccurring sitter. Pet sitting is my full time job so really whenever I can I like to pick up pet sitting jobs. I currently pet sit often for a friend of mine. So depending on what your pet's schedule is like or what your schedule is like I can be as flexible as I need to be to accommodate your needs. I will provide the best care possible to your home and your pet/s. I am very respectful of people's space, and I am courteous to leave the home exactly the way I arrived. The way I care for pets is of course with love and care. I am an animal lover to the core, so it's pretty easy for me to get along with any animal I come across, especially dogs and cats. Leaving your loved ones with strangers is a scary thing, which is why I will make sure you and you animals are comfortable and at peace while under my care! I offer: Unique and fun activities for puppies and dogs, bathing and nail trimming, Puppy Training, administering medicine, and lots of check in's and updates for you upon request! Never wonder how your pet is doing while your away :) I am a part time worker with lots of day time hours to occupy and play with your pets! My availability varies day by day, but i am always available at some time of the day! Weekends and weekdays are no problem at all, just ask! My home is a multi pet household with the home being sectioned into two halves. If you're animal needs to be separated, that can be arranged! I have large crates and small crates if your pet needs them, as well as a large yard for running around! I have lots of pet beds and toys to occupy them as well, and a bathtub if playtime ever gets too dirty.

About: My very first birthday request, from what I recall, was a Dalmatian or a Great Dane. My favorite movie as a child (not shocking) 101 Dalmatians and my favorite cartoon Scooby-Doo. I have taken care of parrots, cats, dogs, ferrets, raccoons, fish; their personalities are infectious. I recently read, “Your Dog Is Your Mirror”, by Kevin Behan it resonated with me. I only attend college 3 days out of the week for about 2 hours but I am home almost at all times. We have a spacious backyard to give your pet play and potty time. If your pet is potty trained we do let them loose indoors but do require kennels for them during the night time and for when needing to step out.

About: I personally trained my own Puppy Snowflake, and in the process I got trained myself on how to train them. I love playing with them, spending time with them. I am currently not doing a typical 9 to 5 job and that gives me the flexibility to do what I love the most, which is spending time with pets. I would play with them, keep them active. About: I have grown up and gained experience around dogs of multiple ages and breeds from newborns to 12+. I have experience with administrating medicine to dogs and caring nursing puppies and supporting senior animals. I have two fur babies that are rescues, Sammie who is a mutt (4 yrs.) and Ally who is a chihuahua mix (1 yr.). I believe pets are part of our families and should be treated as such. I am currently in between jobs, so at the moment I am pretty much free! My schedule is M-F from 8am-5pm. Unless I am taking care of a pet inside my apartment. I have an apartment with two small dogs. I usually take them out on the leash in the courtyard multiple times a day so they get the exercise they need.
