“If you’re in need for a reliable, trustworthy, and caring pet sitter with great communication skills, then look no further - Nancy is who you are looking for. We were in a unique situation in that Nancy took care of our puppy Friday and Saturday at the resort while my husband and I attended all my brother’s wedding festivities. She would send text messages and pictures of our puppy throughout the day and whenever we wanted her to bring our puppy to the functions she would have him ready and he would come with a smile on his face not wanting to leave her side. Nancy treated our pet like he was her own and would HIGHLY recommend her to any and all pet parents!!”

“Fantastic sitter. Great communication. The dogs took to her very well. We can't thank her enough. Would definitely recommend her to others as well as using her again in the future.”

About: ✨ Schedule & Availability I currently maintain a full-time position and carefully manage my schedule to ensure every booking receives dependable and consistent care. Open Availability : Monday / Tuesday Available Before & After Work : Wed - Sun ✨My Experience I have experience caring for both dogs and cats with a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and care needs. From energetic puppies who need extra patience and consistency to independent cats who prefer a quieter approach, I believe every pet deserves individualized attention and care. In addition to caring for my own pets over the years, I have volunteered with animal rescue and shelter organizations, giving me experience working with animals of different temperaments and backgrounds. ✨Drop-in visits / Dog walking / Cat care visits / Puppy visits / senior pet care ✨Meet & Greet I strongly encourage a meet-and-greet before any first-time booking. Meet-and-greets can be conducted either in person or through a video call, depending on your preference and schedule. This gives us an opportunity to: • Make sure we’re a good fit • Allow your pet to become familiar with me • Review feeding schedules and daily routines • Discuss medications or special care requirements • Review behavior preferences and household expectations • Answer any questions before services begin I currently work full-time, but I still maintain availability outside of my work schedule for pet care, drop-ins, walks, feedings, and quality time with your pets. I’m reliable with routines and make sure pets receive the attention, consistency, and care they need while their owners are away. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pets and entering your home. I treat every animal with patience, respect, and attention to their individual comfort level and routine. I’m experienced with shy pets, senior animals, anxious pets, and pets that may need a calmer approach or extra time to adjust. I always prioritize safety, clean environments, secure doors/leashes, and careful attention to instructions so owners can feel confident their pets are being cared for like family.
“We needed a dog sitter last minute at our rental while visiting Greenwood. Grace responded immediately, and took great care of our pups, so we didn’t have to worry about them, or rush to get home and take them out. Thanks Grace!”

“Rebeka couldn’t be nicer and handled our handful of a dog very well. She responds to messages quickly, and I appreciated her reaching out to confirm the day of our scheduled appointment. She is very prompt and has a lot of dog behavioral experience that is helpful. I would not hesitate to use her again!”

About: Experience with multiple breeds of dogs. My heart is owned by our 5 boys and our 3 furbabies 16 year old Siberian Husky named Lola, a 2 year old husky/german Shepard mix named Skye and a 13 year old Australian shepherd named Apache . Firmly believe that pets are family and that it’s up to us humans to provide them with the best life possible. Without a doubt, I will treat your pet family members as if they were my own, with an abundance of love and attention. I know what it’s like to have a good pet sitter and I’ve been very fortunate to know what it’s like to have a peaceful vacation without worries, let me be the one to ease your mind when it comes to your pets care. I’m always doing something doggie related. In addition to Rover we also offer dog grooming so we stay pretty busy with the pooches every day of the week. I have crates to accommodate all sizes of pups for those that are crate trained. Those that need a human bed to sleep in, I’ve got plenty of those as well. Huge yard for lots of exercise.
About: I grew up with 2 Labs and a cat, Barney, Stormy, and Felix. You can’t help but fall in love. As a current dogfather I would love to get more but I think my Wife would go crazy haha. I’m happy to help you and your pets in times of need. I take care of my dog Cooper like he’s my son, taking him on walks, runs, and to the park every once an awhile, giving him 2 meals a day and the occasional treat. I make an effort at least 3 times a day to check in on my pet. I have a nice backyard and luckily my dog doesn’t run away as I don’t have a fence yet. Otherwise I take him on a walk with a leash around our neighborhood or at our neighborhood dog park.

“First time using a pet sitter that wasn’t a friend or family member. Emily was awesome - she texted throughout visit and sent photos so I didn’t worry. I’ve already booked 2 more visits with her.”

“As a spur of the moment idea, that I had heard about through a friend in CA, I contacted Rover and had a good, instant, comforting response. The care giver was great and did send picures and I was very comforted. Thanks to her.”
“Chloe has done a wonderful job taking care of our two cats while we were out of town. The kitties are always healthy and happy when we return, so I am confident that Chloe gave them lots of attention and affection during her visits. She also went above and beyond by watering our Christmas tree, bringing in our packages, and even buying the kitties little toys during her first visit, which they still like to play with. I will definitely be contacting Chloe for our future cat-sitting needs!”
“Oh what can I say, Michelle was amazing. Took care of our 15 year old cocker spaniel. And took lots and lots of pictures communicated with me about every detail about our little girls life. So that we felt like she was well taken care of and had lots of company. We would recommend Michelle anytime anywhere any place for any type of animal. She is loving caring honest hard-working and very very sweet. Michelle is a very professional person and respected our home and our lifestyle”

About: Ive been caring for dogs and cats since I was about 8 years old. I’ve always had multiple dogs in the house at a time. I’ve cared for dogs ranging from big to small, Seniors to puppies. I provide daily photos throughout your pets daily routine and tons of love I’m currently working part time so I will have plenty of enough time to care for your fur baby. I believe all animals should be treated like they are you own even if they are temporary I live in a quiet cozy apartment with a big yard in the back. There is plenty of room for playtime and resting. Pets are welcome on all furniture
“Beka has been fantastic with our 4, almost 5 month dog. He had no training prior to 4 month and the work Becka has done with him is incredible. He listens to commands and is potty trained now. Our dog loves her and she seems to adore him. She went out of her way to water my rabbit when he was out of water and also accommodates schedule changes when she can.”
About: I have taken care of cats and dogs my entire life. My family has always had pets, and I’m a natural pet lover. About two years ago I got my first domestic bunny, and now have two (of course Humphrey needed a bunwife). So I am experienced in bunny care as well. I am so excited to gain your trust by treating your fur babies like my own, and promise to make you feel secure leaving them with me! My schedule is pretty flexible. I babysit for a family in Preston three days a week but the times vary. It evens out to about 18/20 hours spread throughout three days so if your pet is here during those days they may be here without me for a few hours. My fiance does help when he’s off of work so as long as he’s home they would have him too. I own my home with my fiance, and we have a fenced in yard. The fence is about half of the height of your typical fenced in yard, so if your pet is curious and you think they would jump it we can accommodate a lead for your pet to be on just in case. This way they can still get the exercise and freedom a fenced in yard would provide. If your pet is used to going on walks, let me know so we can keep that same routine here. All outside playtime will be supervised as well. Our home contains a very friendly lab who is two and very high energy and gets excited easily, an older chihuahua mix (around 14 years old) and a middle aged chihuahua mix (6 years old). All pets in my home are vaccinated. I am also a nursing student and my boyfriend is a police officer, so we like to think this helps make us trustworthy and professional people who will give you peace of mind while you’re away.
About: I have had pets all my life pretty much! I have always grown up with dogs, but over the last 7-8 years I have experience with cats as well! I currently am not working so I have been trying to pet sit for people as much as I can! I have open availability always. I am always very careful when going to a client's home and always follow their rules and what they ask me to do and am always respectful of their home
“Brante cared for our three furbabies (cats) like they were her own! I felt completely at ease leaving my cats for a couple days, knowing they were in good hands! They received lots of extra attention and cuddles 😊”

“Samantha was everything we could’ve hoped for and more. She was not only early for every visit, but she communicated with me when she would show up, when she would leave, sent pictures on every visit, and followed the requested schedule to a tee. This was our first time using this app and Samantha has certainly set the bar. There’s no question I would highly recommend Samantha for your pet sitting needs.”

Cambridge cat parents share their Rover experiences
We are new cat "parents" and Nancy's experience showed right away. We never thought about a "meet & greet" but that was a great idea for us and our cat Astrid. We felt instantly comfortable, and so did Astrid. It made leaving worry free. An older cat, Astrid was recently adopted into our family -- by 5 days -- making Nancy's visit very important to all of us. The photos she sent made it clear that Astrid was feeling happy and cared for -- exactly what we wanted.
