About: I have been owned by cats and dogs in the past. I recently transferred with my job from the East Coast to Utah, and now reside in Northern California and currently frequent the Humane Society to visit with the cats and dogs waiting for homes. Pet Sitting - I am able to walk them/feed in the mornings and after 5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and Thursday - Sundays more frequently. I do prefer overnight pet sitting. I am reliable, responsible and have a "knack" with most pets. I do need to know about any behavioral issues (likes to chew on things that aren't their toys for example). About: Kevin and I have both been caring for dogs and many other types of animals for our entire lives and absolutely couldn’t envision our life without several animals. Kevin has grown up around a family dog business - participating in AKC scent trials, agility training, boarding and almost any other type of dog event & training you can imagine. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire lifetime and used to help foster kittens as a child and teenager. We currently have two dogs, several cats, chickens, turkeys and more. Your animals will be in safe and caring hands with us! We both work but set our own schedules and/or work from home so your dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone. Since we have animals of our own, caring for additional pets is not a problem and part of our normal lifestyle. We have a large fenced dog run outside, in home kennel area, along with crates for crate trained dogs. Our property is about 5 acres and fully fenced with front gates so dogs cannot leave the area. We also have a couple large lawns we use for doggy playtime, fetch and training sessions.

A little about me: I worked at a petsmart in the grooming salon where we had to take extensive courses on dogs and cats, so I have experience working with dogs/cats from all walks of life. I have befriended anxious dogs who usually fear humans and earned the acceptance of aggressive dogs. Animals tend to like me regardless of their personalities. I am as happy on a leisurely walk for a mellow dog who wants to sniff and explore as I am to tire out a dog with boundless energy. I have 2 dogs of my own and have had dogs and cats my whole life. About: I was raised on a ranch with all kinds of pets. I can't recall life without dogs we are so fortunate to have them in our lives they are unconditional in the love and affection they give . I was in dog rescue for 21 years as a foster. I had 7 dogs all were what was considered not able to be put in a home do to behavior issues the only option for these dogs was to be euthanized so I kept the rejects and had to stop rescue as to the inn was full and I still dog sat for the dogs that had been at my home until a new home was found . I have extensive experience with all types of dogs . I have a cat who pretends dogs do not exist so she just stays away, my cat was a ferel rescue cat and is now a fat and sassy house cat . I have a large home so have part of it sectioned off where her litter box and food are to keep dogs out of both . If I house sit I have experience with farm animals for feeding. I garden so watering is in my range. I'm home 75% of the time so I'm available. I may run a errand but that's about it . If weather permits and you have a road dog car rides with me are perfect. I spend a lot of my time cooking and blogging I cook for seniors in my community. If I'm gardening outside the dogs are welcome to be with me. I have a double lot so plenty of play room . Half of it is fenced for plenty of play room . I have a crate if needed . Your dog will have free roaming access in my home and allowed on the furniture . If I'm sitting your pet in your home it's your home and your rules that I follow . I have passed my Background check here on Rover to take care of your fur babies. I have passed my 2nd Government Background check to take care of children. I have passed my 3rd Goverment Background check to take care of elders . About: I have my own German Shepherd, and like most of you and myself anytime I've needed someone to care for and look after Brooklyn I've always looked for someone who has pets of their own because it helps me trust them because they do all the things we all do for our pets that they do as well.
