“Cristaylee was amazing with our puppy I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER for anyone looking for a sitter. She stays in contact with you all day with pictures and videos etc. If I need a sitter in the future will most definitely make her watch our puppy again!”

“We just got a 6 month old pup, and one thing about our area is we lack reputable dog trainers, and doggy daycares. I stumbled upon this place accidentally last night. Our 6 month old pup just completed her first day of doggy daycare! This is EXACTLY what Columbia needs! Our pup was on 20 acres supervised running having the BEST time ever instead of being crate trained at home alone (lol). I’m opting for this option with her 3/6 days I work! Amanda just moved to this area ,and is getting her name out there! I strongly encourage you to check into Stay and Play Academy. Our hyper pup is taking a good nap, and is much happier today than I have ever seen her at night! If your pup needs a few days away from home while you work, or whatever situation check her out! Poppie LOVES her (and cried when i drove her away 🙈) ! 🤩🤩”

“Julie provided outstanding daycare for our golden retriever, Beau. We were visiting the area and needed a place for him to stay while we explored a distillery that didn't allow dogs. Julie replied to my message quickly and we worked out a day schedule. She provided us with photos of Beau while we were gone and our pickup was smooth. Beau was very happy and relaxed. I highly recommend Julie for dog daycare.”

About: I've had a fur baby in my arms since I was a child. Not only did I raise my own, but I've kept my friends, my co-workers and my son's dogs while they were out of town, for a day, a week and sometimes longer. I cared for my son's senior boy while he worked, and then he brought the newest baby to me everyday she when she was a puppy, so she wasn't home alone and I could potty train her with love. I raised our German shepherd with my sons from the time she and my youngest were both just 8 weeks old. When Libby was almost 18 yo we had to have our vet assist her in crossing the rainbow bridge. From there I got my first tiny dog, a little boy named Dexter, Chihuahua 6.6 lbs, and then shortly after I got Danika, Chihuahua 5.5 lbs. They went everywhere with me, vacations, nail salon, shopping. They had a purse they loved to jump right in and 2 booster seats so they were secured safely in my car. I lost Dexter to heart disease at 14 yo and poor little Danika was lost without him. I adopted Lucylle, Chihuahua 6 lbs, she was 2 yo. She was left at the vet by her previous family, that never came back to get her. She was very aggressive towards everyone in the beginning and it took me 3 months of patience and love to bring her out of it. By that time her and Danika were best friends, and loving companions, of course they went everywhere with me. We lost Danika just few months ago, she was 16 yo. That's when I decided to start my journey with Rover, to bring some added joy into mine and Lucylle's life and give other fur babies a safe and loving place to visit when family were away. I retired 04-2024, Lucylle and I have plenty of time on our hands. I bought a patio home, with a nice fenced back yard, where I sit in the morning or anytime during the day/evening and watch Lucylle go out and do her business or just play. We take walks around the neighborhood or down at the walking trail. My neighbors are also dog lovers, they just love little Lucylle. I have a fenced back yard for them to play in with my girl, and I keep a watchful eye on them when they are outside. I can crate your baby if needed, as I do my own sometimes. I have little beds and/or a blanket for them to snuggle when they are napping. Being retired gives me plenty of time for your fur baby (and mine). Caring, playing and loving them as if they were my own.

“We were in town on vacation to visit distilleries. Cassie set up a meet n greet the Sunday before our visit and did a wonderful job showing us around. Day of was easy and Charlie had a great visit. Totally recommend to everyone”

About: Welcome! While new to Rover, we are not new to loving and caring for our furry loved ones! We own 3 dogs and 1 cat and they are so loved! We have a large fenced yard that your pet can play and run! We also supply crates, that we use only when unsupervised or during feeding (if needed). For most of the time they will be having fun outside or curled up in the house with us, especially on the cold days as winter approaches. For cats, to create a safe place for them, I am able to give them their own quiet space and allow them in the main part of the house if/when they are comfortable. I’m experienced with giving medications, including shots. I have experience working with pets and their basic commands as well as potty training, so I am more than willing to keep those young dogs/cats or elderly that may need some extra love and maintenance! I work at home and care for our livestock, so I am home all day and able to care and love your pet as my own so they feel safe and comfortable! We have a fence yard so your pup can run, play and do business their business fear of running off. We also provide crates for unsupervised times when I’m not in the house, as well as feeding if needed. With our personal dogs, we are more than happy to let them play with your pup but we are also set up to keep them separate if there is concern. Your pup will be treated like a part of the family but we want your pup safe and happy and will do what we can to make sure that happens!

Faye J.
“I am personally, a snob of sorts. I rarely find anyone...friends, vets, petsitters, etc that live up to my standards of how pets should be cared for. I am the friend that is silently (but sometimes quite loudly, too) judging you for the way you care for your pets. It's just who I am. Yes, I'm the person that treats animals just as lovingly as I do other humans. That being said, I have nothing but major kudos when it comes to Lynn. Yes, her name is Faye, but we call her Lynn. She treats her dog better than most people treat their own children. So yes, her heart is in it. Secondly, she is aware of acute changes and acts accordingly. Things that other pet owners may miss, she's vigilant about noticing. Increased respirations? She'll notice. Different looking poop? She'll notice. So yes, she's a smart cookie because it's important to her. I would not hesitate to leave any of my own crew in her care. I would not hesitate to have her in my home caring for them or for her to have my crew (albeit, a large one) stay with her in her home. That kind of trust can make a vacation so much more enjoyable. Some of my friends have had the absolute worse tragedies while on vacation. I would feel so secure having her watch over my precious little ones. Highly, highly recommended!”

Allison K.

“Allison took very good care of our 2 Shit Tzus and they seemed very happy while with her.”

Anna H.
“When it comes to Anna There aren't words to express how loving, caring and compassionate she is when it comes to large or small animals. She has a natural ability to gain their trust and respect. Anna has a kind heart and patient when caring for dogs. Her ability to teach animals is inspiring. I would highly recommend Anna if you are looking for an honest, caring, and compassionate care giver for your pet!”

Hailey M.
“Hailey watched my dog several times!! She is a good friend of mine and is SO kind to my puppy!! She is so patient with my dog. My dog is very active so she does a great job at getting her “zoomies” out!”

Morgan C.
“If you’re looking for someone who will care for your dogs as much as she cares for her own, look no further! Morgan will take the utmost care of your furry friends. As someone whose dogs are essentially my kids I know that if I need someone to care them, Morgan is the one! She loves walking them, giving them treats and ensuring they are properly fed and loved when I am away.”

“Everything was great”

Robert P.
“He has experience with animals, because he was a vet tech before. He has taken care of my dog, who is extremely important to me. My dog is like my baby to me, and he was very comfortable around Robert. He seemed very happy and well taken care of. Robert took him out multiple times and would give him treats when he would potty. He would play with Cash whenever Cash wanted and kept him entertained. He’s a great guy around animals and he’s very passionate about them!”
