About: I've lived with pets all my life and while I’ve only had one human roommate in the last 30 years, I've always had a least one cat up until 2018. I LOVE cats (esp kittens), and am quite comfortable around dogs as well (I love them too, just not in all capitals, LOL). When I first started pet sitting, I thought I preferred cats to dogs, but the past few years have enabled me to expand in my love of, and comfort with dogs (but please don't tell the cats that)! I also used to 'lease' a horse in my youth and have experience with birds, hamsters, fish, and guinea pigs. I DON'T like snakes or insects (sorry!) In the last 12 years I’ve volunteered with several rescues as a cat/kitten foster and I'm known to be particularly good with feral kittens and cats. I'm really good with walking (dogs mostly), dispensing medications, and loving attention, but I'm not a pushover when it comes to treats from the table (that's a no-no) staying on leash when required, and letting them know I mean business when necessary. I don't believe in EVER striking or punishing animals and seem to fall in love with them all. I’ve been a house and pet sitter on the site “Trusted Housesitters” since 2018 and have over 21 positive reviews there. I’m recently retired (yet surprisingly busy). I don’t do a lot of night driving, but am otherwise generally available. I’m a stickler about being on time, and keeping dates I commit to. My preference is for cats to remain indoors at all time at my house, and dogs always on a lead when outside. I have a variety of crate sizes here, and am totally comfortable with your fur kids riding in my car, lounging on my furniture, and/or sleeping in my bed. I have all wood floors, plenty of cat litter pans and bowls for food and water. My yard is not fenced but I live directly in front of the Western Maryland Rail Trail, and have easy access to neighborhood parks as well.

About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life. I currently have a beagle (8yrs) and a golden retriever puppy. One of my labs growing up had diabetes so I am skilled/ have knowledge of measuring food, giving insulin, and I know the importance of a diabetic animal being fed at the exact times every day. My current dog has epilepsy so I am experienced there as well. My friends and family trust me to take care of their pets and know they will be in good hands. I am currently a full time teacher at a local high school. My availability during the week is after 3:00 pm and my availability on the weekends is all day (unless otherwise discussed). I'm willing to bring in mail, packages, etc. I am currently only doing dog walking and drop in visits 30 mins- 1 hour. I will follow food/ care directions and make sure the house is secure before leaving.

About: I grew up on a small dairy farm with all kinds of animals. I went on to college at Penn State and graduated with a degree in Agriculture. I spent five years working on dairy farms and then became Registered Nurse because I married a dairy farmer and needed to work off the farm. I love all animals big and small and are comfortable care of all sizes and ages. I am also comfortable caring for animals with special needs. I am available most evenings and flexible on the weekends. I am reliable and responsible and always treat others pets and property as if they where my own. About: When I was a kid my twin and I started a dog walking business in our neighborhood. We walked dogs of all sizes, house sat for cats, dogs, and other animals, and did drop by visits. I have cared for many animals and have a lot of professional hands-on experience. I also own my own dog and have had cats my whole life. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I’ve cared for dogs ranging from Yorkshire terriers to mastiffs. About: I was raised around dogs my entire life and have always loved taking care of them and playing with them. I currently have 6 dogs and love everyone of them dearly and always spoil them while making sure they’re well behaved. About: Graduated from the Vet Tech Institute of Pittsburgh did my internship at Somerset Animal Medical Center. I then went on to be a Veterinary Technician at Loyalsock Animal Hospital. About: I work hard to make the sweet puppys ( or adult dog) have a happy time as possible. Also, I having experience with senior dog who needs understanding and patients and just as much love if not more. I am general manager at a pizza shop, I am single. I would have time to help a dog or cat get attention or other animals. I have had mice, rats and fresh water fish, dogs and cats. Dogs need time to burn off energy, so I would walk with them , play ball or frisbee, depending on what they prefer. Also, bigger dogs from my experience like to tug on ropes or stuff animals.

About: My animals have always been treated like a member of the family, and are even more spoiled than myself. I will always treat your pet like my own! I work from home so I am available to do daily tasks in between answering emails, phone calls, etc. Pet care comes first before anything! Having a high energy breed myself, I am always striving to make my day fit around my dog. I will meet the needs of your pet based on their energy level and their health.

About: I have owned my own personal animals for the past 6 years, I have 3 dogs (all beautiful muts) and 8 cats. Aside from having my own furry kids, I've also worked in animal rescue for a little over 4 years. This job field has given me so much experience working with every sort of dog breed, and any cat temperament. I currently work a full time job Monday-Thursday but I would love to be more involved in the animal field again. About: I love all types of dogs and have personally trained 4 over the years from puppy to adult. I have also had to help one with diabetic insulin shots for over a years time. I genuinely care about the pets I own and give them lots of attention and love each day!
