I have experience in giving pups medication, grooming, identifying illnesses, and body language thanks to my last job at a doggy daycare! I've been around and cared for dogs of all shapes and sizes! I understand how important your furry family members are and will make sure they have everything they need (and make sure they have tons of fun of course!) I have experience with cats as well, having one of my own and taking care of our local strays. :) I have also owned many fish and am comfortable with any other pets you may have! About: I bring years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to gentle seniors. I’m confident with administering medication, leash training, and reading dog body language to keep your pet safe and happy. My calm demeanor and structured routine help pets feel at home—even when you’re away. Fortunately, in addition to care, I work closely with military trained dog handlers, live 5 minutes away from a vet, and live 2 minutes away from a park for all of your animal needs! I currently work a full time job, however it is flexible. I live 3 minutes away so I am able to check on any animal that may be staying with me every couple of hours. I have a fenced in yard so that the fur babies are able to run and play outside. In addition to the furniture that they are allowed on, I have dog beds in every single room of the house, as well as a massive cat tower in the living room that the cats can lounge in.

About: We are reliable Gen X who have the experience needed to take care of your critters. We will treat them like our own until you return home. My husband and I work full time but we are able to drop in before and after work. I work very close to our home and can let your critters out during the day. I have a fenced yard, 2 indoor dogs, and 1 dog that rarely comes in. He will be in a separate yard. We have 2 cats that come and go as they please who only have access to our garage. Your dogs are allowed to play with our dogs if you allow it and if they get along well. Your dog will need to be crated while we are gone from the home. Our back yard fence is 48” tall. Please let us know if your dog is an escape artist and we will walk him/her on a leash to prevent their escape.

“Kayla is an excellent caregiver when she watched and walked our two dogs. One was a Jack Russel terrorist, Rosie. Actually Rosie was the best dog we have ever had, very smart, disciplined and obedient. The other was a Basenji, Baroo who was not so much. He also had to take medication for a seizure disorder. Kayla was excellent with them and they would get excited when they saw her. She would dog sit and house sit for a couple weeks at a time while we were on vacation. We knew they were very well cared for and loved. Kayla is very responsible and loved the dogs as if they were her own. The only regret that we have is that she moved away and we can no longer have her to love and care for the dogs.”
