“Brianna is a wonderful dog sitter. She's helped us out for the last 4 years. She goes above and beyond to spoil my rotten pets when I'm gone. Communication is so important and she does this well. Thank you for all the extra little ways you help me out that are not in your job description!”

About: I have a degree in Animal Science and have hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals—not just dogs and cats. I regularly house sit for families with dogs, cats, horses, pigs, ducks, cows, and chickens, so I’m very comfortable managing different care routines and environments. I have experience with puppies, including basic training, leash walking, crate routines, and positive reinforcement, as well as senior pets who may need medications, mobility support, or extra patience and attention. My education allows me to recognize changes in behavior, health, and comfort levels, and I take a calm, knowledgeable approach to animal care. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to following each owner’s instructions closely. Above all, I genuinely love animals of all kinds and care for every pet as if they were my own. I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend plenty of time with the pets I care for. I’m also currently saving money for a big trip at the end of the year, so I have lots of availability and am happy to dedicate my time to giving your pets the attention, exercise, and care they need. Because of this schedule, I’m able to accommodate regular potty breaks, walks, feedings, medications, and check-ins and adjust my routine to match each pet’s needs. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I intentionally plan my days around the animals I’m caring for. I truly enjoy spending time with the animals I care for. Pet sitting isn’t just a responsibility for me—it’s something I genuinely look forward to. I love getting to know each animal’s personality and building trust with them, whether that’s through playtime, walks, quiet companionship, or barn chores. The time I get to spend with them is one of the best parts of what I do, and I treat every pet with patience, affection, and respect.

“Olivia was absolutely amazing with Whiskey and Selena! From the moment we met her, you could tell she genuinely cares about animals. She kept me updated throughout the day, which gave me so much peace of mind, and my dogs looked so happy and well cared when I got home. She was patient, attentive, and treated them like her own. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and loving to care for their pets!”

About: HOME AWAY FROM HOME – Luxury Cage-Free Dog Boarding & Personalized Pet Care A True Home Away From Home — No Kennels, Just Family. If your dog is used to the comfort of home, a traditional kennel can be stressful. I provide an exclusive, premium boarding experience where your furry family member is treated like one of my own. I only accept a limited number of guests at a time so every pup receives plenty of love, attention, and personalized care. What I Offer * 🏡 Cage-free home environment * 🌳 Large, secure fenced backyard for supervised play * 🛏️ VIP sleeping arrangements inside my home * 🚗 Park adventures and car rides (with owner approval) * 📸 Daily photo and video updates for your peace of mind * ❤️ Lots of cuddles, playtime, and one-on-one attention Every Dog is Different—I’m Prepared for That While my home is primarily cage-free, I understand that every dog has different needs. * If your dog is crate-trained or feels more secure sleeping in a kennel, I have a clean, comfortable kennel available. * I also have a separate fenced indoor area where dogs can enjoy their own quiet space if they prefer privacy, need a break from other dogs, are older, are anxious, or simply don’t get along with every dog. Whether your pup loves to socialize or enjoys having their own space, I can accommodate their individual personality and routine. My goal is always to make them feel safe, comfortable, and at home. For Cats – Safe, Calm & Separate Space I also care for cats, and I understand they have very different needs from dogs. For their comfort and safety, I have a dedicated separate room for cats where they can stay relaxed and stress-free. * 🐱 Private cat-only room (completely separate from dogs) * 🛏️ Cozy, quiet, and secure environment * 🌿 Space to relax, hide, and feel safe at their own pace * 🍽️ Feeding, litter care, and daily check-ins * ❤️ Gentle handling and calm environment for stress-free boarding This setup is perfect for cats who are shy, independent, or do not get along with dogs, ensuring they feel completely safe and undisturbed during their stay. My Experience I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for over 15 years. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is truly my passion. I keep pets on their regular routine by feeding them on schedule, providing daily walks, playtime, grooming, and administering medications when needed. If medication is required, I set reminders so every dose is given on time. Safety is always my top priority, whether we’re playing in the backyard, relaxing indoors, or going on a walk. My Love for Animals My love for animals goes far beyond pet sitting. Throughout my life, I’ve rescued, adopted, and fostered many animals in need. I’ve rescued abandoned puppies left in sacks, cared for abandoned mother dogs and their puppies, and saved kittens left in ditches. Seeing animals suffer has always broken my heart, so I’ve done everything I could to give them a second chance. Those experiences have shaped the way I care for every pet that stays with me. I treat each one with patience, kindness, and genuine love because I know they’re not “just pets”—they’re family. When your pet stays with me, they aren’t simply being boarded. They become part of my family until they’re back home with yours. No matter what kind of dog or cat you have—playful, shy, crate-trained, senior, energetic, or one who prefers their own space—I have a setup to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. A Note About My Rates ❤️ I understand that my rates may be higher than some other sitters, and I completely respect that every family has a budget. Please keep in mind that Rover includes service fees and takes a percentage of each booking, which is reflected in the overall price you see. My rates reflect the personalized, in-home care, limited number of guests, safe and secure environment, individual attention, and peace of mind I provide. Your pet isn’t simply staying at a boarding facility—they’re staying in my home, receiving the same love, attention, supervision, and care I give my own pets. When you choose me, you’re not just paying for a place for your pet to stay—you’re investing in someone you can trust to treat your furry family member like family while you’re away. ❤️🐾 My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is safe, loved, comfortable, and in caring hands. I am currently unemployed and a stay home Mom so I have a lot of time to look after your pups. I am available everyday. I have a fenced yard where they can play and run around and 2 dogs to keep your fur baby company. A comfortable space inside the house, clean and quiet. Can do crate if needed or trained but I would love them to be free.
About: I’ve had the privilege of being born into a dog family. Dogs are more than a pet, or even a man’s best friend- they’re literally family. I might argue that they receive better treatment than family, but they’re too cute not to! While every single person in my family has a dog, I unfortunately do not. My family lives in St. Louis, MO and I live in Ruston, LA for school. But there’s no denying I miss my dogs. I think this opportunity would allow me to fulfill that void and take a load off your list. A win/win scenario! (I’m also on a 10k/day step journey so this would make it less boring!) I have experience with all sized dogs and different breeds ranging from Rottweilers, Poodles, English Bulldogs, Maltipoos, Shitzus, Maltese, Mix Breeds and more. I can do short walks around the neighbors or longer walks on a trail which I have a seasonal pass to Lincoln Parish Park. I have a full SUV with covered seats to accommodate your baby! I currently work from home and also am doing school online so my schedule is extremely flexible and what I make it to be. I can work from anywhere if need be so it’s never an issue for me. In my clients home, I would make sure I play it by their book and carefully review their instructions. I will also work on gaining the dogs trust by giving it extra love, cuddles, and attention so they can familiarize themselves with me.

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was around 12. From feeding neighbors chickens while they were away, to staying in families houses to look after their puppies while they’re away, I’ve experienced a wide range of pet care. As the owner of an elderly cat, I am very gentle and calm, perfect for elderly pets or any sweeties that require a low stress environment. However, as the owner of a golden retriever, I know how to keep the excited ones entertained! I am a full time college student, and have a few classes everyday— no more than 3 a day and they are no longer than 2 hours at a time. I’m free in the mornings and evenings for whatever is needed! My yard is fenced, though there is an in ground pool, so I would not leave any pets unattended outside. I could crate dogs if needed. I have a friendly golden retriever to keep your babies company. I also have two cats who are sweet and mind their business. As far as in a clients home, I am very respectful of all house rules and follow any instructions given closely.

I’m currently looking for another job to have a more available schedule I have a semi fenced in yard with a female dog and a female cat. If housing a large dog will need to bring own crate

Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
