About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was little, my parents have always had a lot of dogs. I always cared for them, my parents taught me how and they didn’t help after that. I always watched my parents friends dogs when they went out of town as well. I’m home full time, I’m a stay at home mom. I’m very flexible and open availability. I’m trying to make a some more money for my household. I have a fenced in backyard for your pet to play in while being supervised as well. I also live in a duplex in town.
“Megan’s Doggy Day Care is wonderful! Our Chihuahua/Jack Russell/Italian Greyhound mix dog, Rudy, loved staying with Megan and especially Heidi! Thank you for taking such good care of our fur bay!!!”

“Ryder had an absolute blast!! Paul took him to the dog park, and he got lots of walks on top of that! Ryder loves doggy daycare with Paul and Blaze. We will keep coming back for sure!”

“James was very communicative, sending me daily updates unless I requested them earlier than he messaged. James has good energy and my dog seemed about as good as she could be when I left, and no worse for wear when I picked her up a few days later. My only nitpick is that the photos on James' profile are not current, so I was a little thrown off when the backyard was in a rough state compared to the photos I had seen. Will use James again should I ever need a sitter.”

“Mary Jane is a fantastic host for your pet! She really made us feel at home and was excellent communicating. Very flexible and very professional. We are really happy, relieved and grateful to find her and will definitely book again when next in College Station!”

“Just what i needed for my Maddox! Jessica did a great job taking care of him and updating me throughout the day. She also has some great other dogs that she takes care of that Maddox got to play with. Will definitely be booking with Jessica again!”

“My new rescue dog had a great day with Mikayla! He was nervous when I dropped him off first thing in the morning, but he relaxed right away. She sent a video of him having fun before I even got to work! Was a great experience for him and he’ll be going back a lot!”

“Peyton did an absolutely wonderful job taking care of Bohdi! From the moment we connected, Peyton was professional, attentive, and clearly loves animals. Bohdi can be a bit particular at times, but Peyton handled everything with patience and care, making sure he felt comfortable and happy the entire time. I really appreciated the regular updates, photos, and thoughtful communication—it gave me complete peace of mind knowing Bohdi was in such good hands. It’s clear Peyton goes above and beyond, not just meeting expectations but truly caring for pets as if they were their own. When I returned, Bohdi was relaxed, well cared for, and clearly had a great experience. I would absolutely trust Peyton again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter.”

About: I have 3+ years of house sitting for a friend's dog, feeding and water for his dog, and walking his dog twice a day. I have no special skills. I just have myself and a way of bonding with animals that I meet. I am currently unemployed, but currently looking for another full time job. In the mean time, I have the opportunity to walk for fitness for myself, and to take care of your pet walking them too for you. The neighborhood I live in is a safe neighborhood. I hardly read on KBTX about any crime in the area. Also, there is plenty of sidewalks throughout the neighborhood to walk on and no one bothers you while walking.
“She did amazing with my sweet girl. I could tell my dog had a great day when I got her and I will definitely be rebooking. She even let me drop her off fairly early in the morning, which I appreciate so very much.”

About: I go above and beyond to care about pets because they deserve unconditional love! I own two of the most amazing and beautiful boys and I could not imagine a life without them. I will always make sure that pets under my care are taken care of properly and trained as part of their stay with me. Pets are the worlds gift to us and as such they deserve to be treated with love and respect. Your pooch may not be able to speak out about their experience with sitters, but their actions can definitely show the difference. Leave your pet in good hands for a worry-free experience. I stay home which means your pets will not be unattended or kenneled throughout the day. I know it is important for pets to be comfortable, especially when staying with someone new to avoid anxious behaviors. Making sure that my boys get time to play and just relax around the house is very important to me and as such I will make sure that your pets get the same care. I have a fenced yard where your pet can play with my two boys if they so desire. They will be able to also play and relax in their own room while having the option to look out the window. Dogs can be kenneled if needed but won’t spend their day like that as I wouldn’t want my pets in a kennel for extended periods of time.
About: My own furry companion, Mugi, has taught me invaluable lessons about patience, consistency, and the joy of unconditional love. Whether you have a puppy or a senior pet, I am committed to providing a positive and enriching experience for them. What sets me apart is my genuine care and attention to detail. I understand that every dog is unique, so I will tailor my approach to meet their individual needs. I will ensure your pet feels safe, loved and cared for when they are with me. Use code EMILYM27801 for a $20 off your first booking with Rover. I mainly work from home and have flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate time to your beloved pets, ranging from a quick mid-day potty break, playtime session, to administering medication. Your pet’s safety and well-being are my top priorities. I am committed to building trust with both you and your pet by providing consistent care and attention. I am happy to accommodate any specific requests, training, or dietary needs.
About: I went to a great dog training academy and received a certification as a Canine Training Specialist. I also did a pet food nutrition course with a DNM University and earned a Pet Food Nutrition Specialist certification. I’ve volunteered at several dog rescue centers and I’ve interned at a vet clinic for a year. I grew up in the country and we always had at least one dog so I’ve had lots of experience around animals my whole life. I absolutely love animals, especially dogs, and will treat your dog like family. I’m very knowledgeable about dogs that need a specific diet or medication due to food or environmental allergies as my own dog has them. She is a medium size girl that loves every dog she meets so dogs I board/care for must be dog friendly. Lastly, I love taking great pet portraits with my phone and always send the portrait pictures that I take of the owners adorable pets to them throughout the stay. I accept balanced raw and home cooked diets if you prepare them in ready to serve meal size portions beforehand. This is my full time job so I’ll be able to be home all day and night for boarding/daycare services. Your dogs will not be left alone at my house. I take bookings 2 month or less in advance. I have a large fenced in yard and a very sweet dog that loves to play with other dogs. If they are happy to do it, I will try to work on some basic obedience while they are here like sit, down, and waiting at doors. I follow all of the owners instructions when it comes to whether they’re allowed on furniture, where they sleep, where/when they eat, etc.
About: Just a girl away for college without her cuddly friend. Looking to take care of other cutie pies. I’ve worked with older cats who take medication to young puppies. Big, small, cat, dog, I love them all! I'm a college student at Texas A&M. I am however taking an easier class load because I am about to graduate. Whoop! So I have quite a bit of free time. I just about do it all! I walk, water, feed, play, and clean up after. During my visit I also try and take the best pictures of your pet! Its always a fun time but the pictures always end up a little 🤪
About: I’ve taken care of my own personal pets, neighborhood pets, family pets, and when I moved back to Texas 9 years ago I started working in veterinary clinics as I found my passion as a veterinary technician. I work from home, and there is always someone home, so your furbabies will be in safe and loving hands! I am also fear free and cat friendly professional certified, I am knowledgeable with all ages, sizes, most breeds. I can also administer medications, trim toe nails, help out with a basic groom, train younger pets, I am knowledgeable in senior care, palliative care (I was an ICU veterinary technician for years), whatever you may be looking for, feel free to reach out and discuss! I'd love to be a great sitter for you (: I have a free schedule at this time, as I work from home with a flexible schedule so I can accommodate more specialized care for your pets needs. I have my own pets and one with special needs, their care is very important to me, so I know looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable caregiver is important! Look no further (: In my own home if your pet is kennel trained, for their own safety at night or while I am gone at work or to the store, they would be safely placed in their kennel to avoid any issues. If they are not kennel trained they will be placed in a separate room without any other animals to avoid any issues. I will be with them as much as possible to ensure they are safe and happy, they’ll get their regular walks, feeding schedule and treats with plenty of play time and toys. At your home I will try my best with my work schedule to adhere to the schedule you leave me for your pets walks, feeding routine, etc. to ensure no additional stress is placed on them with you being gone.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 122 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Caldwell. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Caldwell commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
