Our original pet sitting plans fell through at the last minute, so we were getting nervous about our trip up north when we found Sonya. We're so glad we did! Our 9 year old pit mix, Sammy, has always struggled with separation anxiety (moping, barking at new people, refusing to eat). However, Sonya and her husband met him where he was at and showered him with patience and love. They ensured he had plenty of play and attention, and even got our reluctant eater to have a full belly! About: I've grown up having pets the majority of my life. I'm determined to keep your pet safe and happy. I love hanging out with dogs and walking with them and look forward to meeting your fur baby! I work part time so a few days a week I'm fully home and can devote a bunch of time to your dog making their stay enjoyable. When in my care your dog will be inside the house with me with regular potty breaks. When outside they will only be on a leash not free roaming. I can take them for walks down the country road I live on. I'll be glad to send updates with pictures to you. I specialize in small to medium size dogs. This is so small dogs are not intimidated or endangered by large dogs. I own one friendly laid back beagle who will be in the house with your pet.

About: I’ve had my own dog since I was 13, and have always had a dog since. My dog is my baby! One of my favorite pastimes is walking my dogs. I currently have 2 dogs. Fresh water always, lots of love, and good quality food/treats and getting outside for potty breaks are so important to me. I work full time day shift during the week. Weekends and evenings are free for me! I would love to drop in and take care of your pet while your away! Pets like their routines and I am totally respectful of that. I can accommodate their particular needs to keep them safe, happy and well cared for!

About: We are a family of 2 kiddos, who love hockey and choir and bellybean brings us all the laughs and cuddles. The Family is easy-going and very understanding of life circumstances. We pride ourselves on personal attention given to your fur babies and adventures outdoors. We currently have one golden retriever who is three years old as of December 2024. She is playful and friendly, submissive and calm. Any questions are welcome. I’m home based for work and enjoy helping with projects objects within a company as a consultant. I am available for puppy attention, overnight and long-term care for dogs that are vaccinated and treated for flea and tick. We are busiest in the winter months with personal sports, and open to adventures throughout the year/day with animals included. We have a safe environment. I do keep our bedroom doors closed. If there’s anything else you’d like to know, please don’t hesitate to ask. Currently our pets are cared for not crate trained. Ing is an option however. I offer daily walks and multiple catch and throw opportunities daily.

About: I have been around dogs my entire life from newborn to elder dogs. I previously assisted my ex-wife with Rover sitting for many years. I have handled a working dog for approximately a year. I work full time 12 hour shifts. I am able to care for dogs during that time if the owner is comfortable with the dog being left home for 12 hours. Otherwise I am off and home with my children the remainder of the week. I have a fenced in yard and private land and trails for walks. I try my best to exercise the dogs while they are with me weather dependent.

About: Being raised on a dairy farm I’ve been around all sorts of animals, big and small. From kittens, chickens, calves, dogs to full size cows I have done it all. I’m a proud owner of two pure bred English Mastiffs, we just whelped our first ever litter of pups! I’m looking to fill spare time in my day doing what I love most! I have always had so much love for all animals. Let me help you by loving your fur babies while you are busy! I’m available almost all the time. Currently I’m a stay at home mom caring for my 3 year old and 2 gentle giants. Weekdays, weekends, nights or mornings, I can be there for you! About: ’ve had hands-on experience caring for animals for many years. Since around age 12, I’ve regularly helped care for pets belonging to friends, family, and neighbors. During that time I’ve provided feeding, walking, bathing, pet sitting, playtime, and general daily care. I also have experience helping with basic training and working with dogs who were preparing for adoption, which helped me learn how to work with different personalities, energy levels, and comfort needs. Most recently, I’ve been volunteering at a local animal shelter for over 4 months. In this role, I assist with a variety of responsibilities including walking dogs, bathing, playtime and enrichment, administering medications when needed, transporting animals, and helping with overall animal care at the shelter. Working with animals in both home and shelter environments has given me experience with pets of different temperaments, and I always focus on making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always do my best to provide reliable, attentive care. If you’re looking for someone dependable who genuinely cares about animals, I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pet! I’m currently in an on call sort of situation, so my schedule is very flexible! I ask that we at least get a few days advance notice due to a fluctuating schedule. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress-free for them. Through my experience caring for pets and volunteering at a local animal shelter, I’ve worked with animals of many different temperaments and understand the importance of patience, awareness, and safe handling. I always make sure pets are secure on walks, monitored during playtime, and given plenty of attention and care. About: I’ve taken care of all kinds and sizes of animals since a very young age, I love spending my time outdoors all year round no matter the weather!
