About: I have two high energy dogs of my own (Australian Shepherd and a German Shepherd) plus a cat. I grew up with only cats in the house until I was much older, and when I moved out on my own pets were not possible where I lived. I decided I needed to find somewhere to get the cuddles and pets in, so I decided to volunteer for the SPCA. While volunteering I regularly walked dogs, cleaned and fed both Cats and dogs, and enjoyed my time with as many individual animals as I could. Throughout the years I have fostered dogs, and volunteered with the Alberta Spray and Neuter task force. I have experience handling all sorts of breeds and their personalities. All my animals are my fur babies, and I understand how hard it can be when you need to leave your pet behind for work or travel. I strive to provide the best possible care for your animals like they are my own. I do work full time, remotely so the majority of my availability will be in the evenings and weekends. I do have some availability during the day, but please reach out if you are unsure, and I can accommodate where I can! I open to you and your pets needs! My animals are fully vaccinated, and if there is care at my house I offer a fully fenced yard with lots of toys. I love to walk and play with dogs, and want to make sure your routine is followed as best as possible to ensure your pets comfort and yours as well!

“Trish is amazing! She genuinely cares, and went above and beyond for my injured sweet boy Alder ? I felt at ease knowing she was looking after him. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter or walker!!”

About: I take great care in the safety of all animals in my home as I am the proud owner of many pets of my own from cats and dogs to reptiles. Pets are my first priority and always make sure their needs are met in a safe manner. Pets in my care always come first and their safety is my top priority at all times. I am able to deal with most types of pets that range in all sizes. I am also more than happy to take care of all reptiles and other pets of all species, reptiles and other pets are negotiable in price.

About: I have a dog myself- blue heeler. My heeler is trained for obedience, and I work hard to ensure he has the best life possible. I love puppies and seniors alike. I have experience caring for both, my previous dog I cared for till he was 17. And I can say I successfully survived puppyhood with a ACD & came out in 1 piece 🏆 my parents own a farm outside of mayerthorpe. I have experience caring for chickens if you’re away! Or basic farm activities. I work shift work, the days I’m not on shift I’m available for the most part. I will update the schedule accordingly, or keep in touch. I am also a firefighter in the community, so if anything sudden comes up, I will notify ASAP. Currently saving for school for Registered Nursing in 2025! On day shifts, my dog gets walked at 4:00AM, before work. He is well cared for. If you’re from Whitecourt, chances are you may of seen us around town.

1. Amanda L.
“Amanda has always been a lover of animals since the day she was born. She was raised with fish cats and dogs. Whenever we have an issues with an animal, she is the first person we call. She's attended many vet appointments with me and will come over and give an animal their medication for me. As she grew up and became an adult, she still always has animals in her house. She walks her 2 dogs all the time and enjoys taking them on hikes. Any dog I've ever seen her around loves being with her. They will greet her and allow her to pet them, cut their nails, walk them, whatever she feels needs doing, the dogs are fine with her doing it. As a young adult Amanda had volunteered to work with her local animal shelter and walked dogs for them. When she moved away, she looked into doing it again and eas quite disappointed when there was no place in town to offer her services too. I believe your organization, and the animals, will be very lucky to have Amanda”

4. Shaylynn A.
“Shaylynn is an excellent dog owner. Her own dog is trained very well. She goes on tons of long walks with him and not just walks around town but nature walks so that he can thoroughly enjoy his time. She gives him a ton of exercise and playtime to tire him out and use up some pent up energy! She is great with animals”
