“Christina's like a dog behaviorist! She was able perfectly calm & attend to Chikko's needs. She updated me woth photos & videos of our Chikko everytime whenever needed. She also treated Chikko as her own. She ensures that your pet has enough walks and knows exactly what your pet needs. Christina is a blessing!”

“Our dog came home happy and relaxed after staying with Ruth for two weeks! We are very happy about the communication with her, she kept us up to date on everything and send pictures and videos.”

“Carlos & his family were so accommodating and thoughtful in taking care of Seven while we were away. He was extremely responsive, sent updates throughout her stay, was reassuring and had everything under control making our time away so much more enjoyable knowing she was in great hands. They are genuine dog people, with great experience, I would without hesitation recommend them to anyone considering a dog sitter. Thank you Carlos for everything! We will indeed book again.”

“It was the first time using Rover and i fell upon Nomida and her lovely family. She took such good care of our 2 year old maltipoo, sent me several pictures on a daily basis and provided me regular updates. I was so happy to see that our dog was so well taken care of and having fun while we were away. I highly recommend Nomida for your dog.”

“This is Blue's 2nd stay with Vicki and her lovely family and we cant say enough about how wonderful they are. Blue absolutely loves being there...we can tell from the photos she sends and updates. He loves her own adorable dogs and has lwarned a lot about good manners from them😉 We would not hesitate to recommend Vicki as a sitter...she's the best!!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was about 7 years old my family has always had dogs and cats. I have also worked at Mondou the pet store for 4 years. I have also trained dogs for many years now .family and friends rely on me to pet sit for them all the time as I am the person they trust with their fur babies. I am currently on Matt leave with my 3rd baby, I am home full time making me fully available to dog sit and give lots of time . I have a fully fenced yard and a fully dog proof home . My house is big enough to be able to separate your dog if they do not like other dogs . I have dogs that can entertain and keep your dog company and kids that absolutely love dogs and have so much love to give

“Vanessa took such good care of our boy! They shares mealtimes, snacks! And treated him like one of her own pack. Many photo updates as well as messages letting us know how he was doing. She is caring and I would recommend her 100%! I am and will continue to entrust her with my boy”
“Jaimie was just great with our dog Gucci. She sent us pictures, have sent us lots of news on how she was doing with her new friends Jaimie, s dogs. I really recommend Jaimie and for sure she is the new dog sitter of our Gucci.”

“Wonderful job taking care of my pup on what was my first time boarding him. They were responsive, sent a picture, and my dog was not stressed at all when I picked him up. Would highly recommend.”

“We had a little Meet and Greet with Janice the day we booked her to take care of our Ricky for a good part of the day. She is really nice, good vibes, took very good care of our little furry baby. Ricky loved her so much that he cuddle with her and hugged her. He felt safe and happy in her home and in her company! I would definitely recommand her! 🤓🥹😁 She even has forms for us to fill out to make sure she has all the information needed of each dog she takes care of! She takes one dog at a time too, which was perfect for you because Ricky loves people not dogs.. 😁☺️”

“Our 10 year old Weimeraner had never been babysat by anyone and we were very nervous and worried about leaving him. We need to take some time off and let me tell you Yosry made it so easy for us. You can tell how he loves these dogs and is passionate about giving them the best care for their individual needs! Thank you, Yosry, for opening up new possibilities for us and our pup in a safe and nurturing environment!”

“Nous avons été très satisfait des soins et de l’attention que Jungwan et Jihoon ont donnés a notre petits Jules. Des la première rencontre nous savions que nous pouvions partir en paix et profiter de notre fin de semaine sans ce soucier comment allait être Jules . Ils nous ont envoyé des photos et des messages. Je recommande sans hésitation ces 2 merveilleuses personnes a garder votre chiens ! Un gros merci, a la prochaine !”

“Graeme and Vicky took wonderful care of our goldendoodle for a week while we vacationed. They were extremely accommodating, agreeing to several day visits in the months leading up the vacation so that our dog would know them. We really appreciated the daily updates and photos that reassured us that he was happy and well cared for. We would give more stars if we could!”

“Although Keery's service was a tad bit expensive, she was very kind and cared very well for Yujo. He came back very happy and tired (in a good way) from his stay and did not show any signs of anxiety like he did when he came back from his previous babysitter. I'm sure he enjoyed his play in Keery's backyard. We also appreciated how Keery sent multiple pictures every day of Yujo and made sure we knew how he was doing. This service was worth the money!”

“Valérie is amazing. She took such great care of my Maki and Layla. Especially for Maki, she catered to her medication needs and give her medication on time and made sure she had them all with flying colours (it can be tricky to give her oral medication). Appreciated her care for them.”

“C'est ma première expérience avec Rover. Charmaine connaît très bien les chiens et leur comportement. Elle a su s'occuper de mes deux bébés qui peuvent être capricieux. Je la remercie également pour ses bons conseils lorsque je les ai récupérés après leur séjour. Je la remercie de son chaleureux accueil.”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
