“We love her. She gained my dog’s attention and trust easily. She send us pictures, videos and updates frequently without asking for them; she spoils our dog and our dog was happy and loved!! 🤩 very grateful, totally recommend it. This was our first time and definitely we will come back!!”

“This is Blue's 2nd stay with Vicki and her lovely family and we cant say enough about how wonderful they are. Blue absolutely loves being there...we can tell from the photos she sends and updates. He loves her own adorable dogs and has lwarned a lot about good manners from them😉 We would not hesitate to recommend Vicki as a sitter...she's the best!!”

“Rani took amazing care of our puppy, I can’t imagine having left our dog with anyone else. It is clear she just loves animals and she is an exceptional care taker. Rani was very accommodating when our flight was delayed for our return and sent great updates through out the week. Thank you so much!”

“Willie s’est très bien occupé de notre chien Pino 😍 Il communiquait rapidement avec nous et il nous a envoyé à tous les jours des photos. Notre Pino s’est bien amusé avec les autres chiens! Pour la première expérience nous sommes très satisfaits du travail de Willie! À la prochaine fois Willie 😍”

“Kalaichevi was very kind and accommodating. She and her family genuinely like dogs. We got regular updates on Mateo. He seemed very comfortable! We would definitely trust her with sitting our Chihuahua in the future.”

“Susel was amazing! The day before our trip our dog was diagnosed with diabetes, and we were nervous about leaving him with someone new. But she was so attentive to his health and making sure he always got his medication on time, as well as giving us continuous updates along the way. I recommend her and will definitely book with her again! Thank you Susel!”
“Russell et sa famille se sont très bien occupé de Bookie. Il est revenu fatigué, mais heureux d'avoir joué avec ses amis de chien. Nous allons retourner porter Bookie chez eux, c'est sûr !”

“Valerie is a great dog sitter. She’s looked after our German shepherd several times now and our dog is always well cared for. We’ve booked her last minute and I appreciate her willingness and availability. Would recommend!”

“Shireen is the first person I have had my dog stay at over night outside of our family and she made me feel incredibly comfortable and safe. She sent me several updates with videos and pictures. She loved on my dog as if he were her own. I would definitely have him stay with Shireen again.”

“Shaghayegh took great care of our dog Sasha and was accommodating when we changed the date for our trip. She sent me pictures every day with Sasha . Our dog seems to be happy after his stay . I will definitely recommend her to our friends.”

“Melissa is knowledgeable, friendly and an excellent care taker. I was comfortable with her, as was Vega, from the start, and she instilled confidence that my puppy would be in good hands. Drop off and pick up were both a breeze, and Vega was completely tired out from her stimulating time. Thank you!”

“We had a little Meet and Greet with Janice the day we booked her to take care of our Ricky for a good part of the day. She is really nice, good vibes, took very good care of our little furry baby. Ricky loved her so much that he cuddle with her and hugged her. He felt safe and happy in her home and in her company! I would definitely recommand her! 🤓🥹😁 She even has forms for us to fill out to make sure she has all the information needed of each dog she takes care of! She takes one dog at a time too, which was perfect for you because Ricky loves people not dogs.. 😁☺️”

“Communication and interaction with Sri was super easy, she is a sweet person and Rita felt it since the beginning, in the pictures Rita seems super happy and comfortable. Definitely we will book with her again !”

About: I absolutely love all animals and have been caring for my Bernese mountain dog, Walter, for 5 years now. It would be my pleasure to also care for yours while you are away. Any size or age are welcomed. As long as your dog is comfortable and friendly around another dog, cat and kid. :) We will have a blast! I am available for house visits from 9am-3pm on week days and your dog is welcomed in our home for a house stay anytime throughout the week. Schedules to be determined. I work part time from home and have lots of time for walks, dog park visits (if wanted), play and cuddles. On the weekends, we love to go hiking in nature. I have a fenced backyard with lawn. I also have a friendly male 5 year old Bernese Mountain dog who would love the company. We have an elderly cat as well and a 8 year old daughter. So it is important that your dog is friendly with others animals and kids.

“Maki took very good care of my old dog, Buddy. Regular updates were provided, which helped with my separation anxiety. She went out of her way to make Buddy's stay a pleasant experience for us both.”

Merci !”

“Our 2 year old doodle, Luna, was amazingly taken care of. They took the time to have Luna get acquainted with them and their dogs, asked me all about her and her needs, sent us a bunch of pictures and kept in contact with us! Highly recommended and will rebook with Nadina and Izzy!”

Beyond amazing! I cannot recommend Jessica enough. She absolutely exceeded all of my expectations while watching my doggie. Not only did she take incredible care of her, but she also sent daily updates and photos which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. If you are looking for someone who will treat your pet like their own, look no further. I 1000% recommend her and will definitely be booking her again 😊

We couldn't be happier with the care our puppy received from Harinder! From the moment we dropped her off, it was clear she was in kind and loving hands. She settled in so comfortably — it truly felt like a home away from home for her. What we especially appreciated were the regular photo updates. It gave us such peace of mind knowing she was happy and well cared for. We came back to a content, relaxed pup, which says everything. We highly recommend Harinder to anyone looking for a sitter who genuinely loves animals. We'll absolutely be returning!

Very great experience, right from the beginning I was at ease to leave charlie and he was in great hands, he was well taken care of and I received a lot of updates which let me know charlie was comfortable and feeling good throughout the stay. Overall great experience

I had an amazing experience boarding my cat with Ekaterina! Her home is incredibly cat-friendly. From cozy spots to explore to plenty of space to feel comfortable. Ekaterina and her family were wonderfully sweet, patient, and welcoming, treating my cat like one of their own. I also loved the daily updates, complete with fun and witty commentary that always made me smile. I couldn’t have asked for a better cat-boarding experience. Highly recommended!

Emma and Ben are amazing!! They looked after our very energetic black lab for 3 days. He was super comfortable with them and it’s clear that they are both huge dog lovers! Fully fenced yard so he could spend lots of time outside playing. They were very respectful of Charlie’s quirks and routines so he seemed right at home there. He came home and crashed after all the excitement! Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
