Dog Lover - Animal Lover
I’ve grown up with dogs all my life. I am an animal lover in general but especially dogs. I love the idea of taking care of someone’s treasure as I know how hard it is when you have to be separated and worry about them. I have a lot of space in my house and I work full time from home. In case you are wondering why I don’t have a dog now, I did not have the heart to get a new dog when my pepper passed away and at the time I was also working far from home so any new little one would have been alone way too long. I don’t think I have special skills that make me a better choice but I am very loving and dogs (cats-whatever animal) deserve to be loved and held and treated just as well as if they were home with their families. **Since I joined Rover last year, I've met some amazing, dogs (and cats) and not one breed the same! Now that I have more experience with different breeds, I've learned that no matter what kind of dog you take care of, or how anxious they are initially when they meet you....with lot's of devoted attention and love they feel right at home.

As always, Wendi was so wonderful for our dog Jackie’s 2 week stay. We have been going back to Wendi time and time again because we know she takes such good care of our dog! 🥰

Schedule
I currently work from home with a pretty flexible schedule. For the last few years it’s been rare that there is not at least one pup here. So our routine always involves pup care

I have fenced yard. I now have a beautiful pup named Frankie who loves loves loves to play with anyone. Cat’s or dogs. I never leave any pup unattended and NEVER aid course off a leash.
Pets
A typical day
First I find out what the pups schedule is. What they typically do at home. What they like. I have a dog park locally that I visit often to run and play! I usually go when no other pup is there unless I know the other one well and make a play date. We are also always in the backyard playing.
