“There aren't enough words to describe how amazing Emily was with my baby. Daily updates and photos, went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and safe. It was a home away from home and he was sad to leave. Thank you again!!”

“Carolina and her husband were absolutely fabulous with Jasper. I have been incredibly nervous to leave him overnight for a few days… but… Caroline made it so easy for me and for Jasper. She provides awesome updates every morning with photographs and provide provides an incredibly safe environment with an opportunity for Jasper to play. I couldn’t be happier that I have found Carolina as a sitter for Jasper.”

About: **Loving Care, Tailored for Every Paw 🐾** With years of experience caring for pets of all ages and needs, I treat every furry friend like my own. My own dog is 13 years old and blind, so I truly understand the importance of patience, attention, and gentle care. I’m experienced in giving medications on time, offering comfort — even letting pets sleep in my bed if needed — and making sure they get the walks and exercise they need. Your pet’s happiness, health, and well-being are always my top priorities! **A Flexible, Pet-Friendly Schedule 🐾** I work part-time from home, which means I’m almost always around to give your pet the care and attention they deserve. My flexible schedule allows me to accommodate their needs — whether it’s timely meals, medication, regular walks, or just some extra cuddles. Your pet will never feel alone, and I’ll make sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the day. I care for pets exclusively in my home, which is a calm, cozy, and super clean, minimal space — giving them plenty of room to relax, play, and feel comfortable. I follow their routines closely, give medications on time, and make sure they get the right amount of exercise, attention, and love. Since I work part-time from home, pets are never left alone for long. They’ll always have company, care, and a peaceful environment where they’re treated like family every step of the way.
“Thank you for taking care of Rusty! He did not want to get in the car!! I highly recommend Soraya!! We’ll definitely talk to her for our next needs! Happy new year!!”

“C'était la première fois que nous laissions Stella. Tout a bien été avec Sam et Elisa F. Nous avons eu beaucoup de contacts et de photos. Je le recommande à. 100%.”

“Ruth and her family were fantastic with Rocket. She was very open about what she would manage my dog. We had a meet and greet before she committed ( which for me is a sign that they really want the dynamic to work. She even sent pictures of the little pack and how my dog was doing. Thank you Ruth for giving Rocket a chance to stay with you.”

“Jenny and Phillip are wonderful, polite and caring people. They took great care of our dog Leo. They took him for walks and made sure he was fed. They also have a friendly dog that played with ours. Highly recommended!”

“We let our 5 month puppy Arlo to Shireen for about 7 days during a trip where we couldn't bring him. It was a first for us to let our fur baby to a pet sitter so we were a lot stressed and anxious. We are so HAPPY that we found Shireen! She has been fantastic with Arlo, sharing updates every day, morning and evening or anytime we needed it. She really took great care of him and we're really grateful for that. It really made our trip easier and peaceful. We definitely recommend Shireen, don't even hesitate ☺️”

“First time using Rover. Everything went well. Lina is a great sitter. She's experienced, responsive and sent us many pictures to keep us updated. Overall a very good experience!”

“Wonderful job taking care of my pup on what was my first time boarding him. They were responsive, sent a picture, and my dog was not stressed at all when I picked him up. Would highly recommend.”

“We had such a wonderful experience with Corina as Willie’s dog sitter! She immediately made us feel at ease leaving him overnight, especially since it was our first time being apart from him. She kept us updated throughout his stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. Corina made us feel emotionally and mentally secure knowing Willie was in such caring hands. We would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter. We will definitely be returning clients! ❤️🐾”

“Merci beaucoup à Sarah et son conjoint pour avoir pris si bien soin de notre chien pendant une semaine en suivant les instructions les plus petites. Merci pour vos mise à jour à chaque jour avec des photos et vidéos. On vous la recommande fortement!”

“Kalaichevi was very kind and accommodating. She and her family genuinely like dogs. We got regular updates on Mateo. He seemed very comfortable! We would definitely trust her with sitting our Chihuahua in the future.”

“I definitely recommend Graeme & Vicky! We left our dog with them for the first time. It was a 2-week period. We were a bit nervous because our dog is very anxious. All went really well. They made our dog feel comfortable, as if she was home. We received pictures throughout the vacation and she looked very relaxed and happy. We'll be returning customers for sure!!”

“Natali took very good care of our 8 month old French bull dog for the weekend. We got regular updates with photos throughout the stay. Would recommend to others.”

“Genevieve was absolutely the best in handling Bella, a German Shepherd, who’s fear reactive. On the first meeting, Bella didn’t bark at Genevieve and was completely relaxed. Genevieve knew exactly what to do. We have a 10-day stay booked with Genevieve, but we wanted to do a trial run of one night for Bella to familiarize herself and it went super well! I can honestly say I feel confident leaving Bella in Genevieve’s care. I highly recommend her. Her kindness and love of animals is beyond par!”

“Absolutely fantastic- I think my dog had the best week of her life! She is high-energy and still young, and she had so much fun playing with all the other dogs. We will definitely be back!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Deux-Montagnes
Soraya was very friendly and welcoming when we first met, and such a pleasure to get to know. She was very understanding of our dog's needs, and we could tell by the pictures that she sent us that he was comfortable during our time away. She provided us with pictures and updates, which were greatly appreciated. He didn't look sad or anxious at all when we picked him up, as he had from being boarded at the vet clinic previously where we used to bring him. This was a wonderful experience for both us and our dog, and we hope that she will continue to watch him during any further trips we take away from home.

Merci :-)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
