“Anh and her family treated our dogs like they were their own dogs. Ryder and Daisygirl were so well taken care of while we were away. They sent us pictures of them everyday and that helped us to know that my babies were doing ok. Anh was very responsive so definitely there was no lack of communication there. My babies loved them, especially their son and their very chill and gentle dog Kind. We will definitely book with them again in the future! Thank you for watching our babies so well Anh and family!”

“Joni is a wonderful sitter and always our first choice. Kind, gentle, takes wonderful photos and sends the sweetest notes. We are grateful for Joni and Don and all of their help out fur baby.”
“Wow!!! I can’t even begin to explain how happy I am with Carolina and Francisco. Not only did the take in Stella 24 hours before I had to go, they were so amazing, gentle and attentive to her. I was very nervous leaving Stella with someone new, but I’m so so so happy I did. They are seriously amazing. I got constant pictures and updates. The communication was so fast. Stella loves her new aunt and uncle so much!!”

“Nadina took care of our 6 month golden for 10 days and it was the must reassured and relaxed we ever been leaving our dog with someone. First she really took the time to know us and Peppa. Answerd all our questions and hed a video call with us. She and her family are extremely caring. It was obvious they providing our Peppa with a loving family environment just like she is used to and that was all we wanted. Her 2 dogs are super sweet and playful and we got pictures of them playing in the backyard every day. It felt so good to know she's in puppy heaven! Peppa was kind of sad to leave! But i could tell when we arrived home she was in a good mood you could really tell she had a very positive experience. I have a very high standards when it comes to my dogs borading and i highly recommend Nadina!”

Nadina is fantastic! I felt like I was leaving my girl Willow with a trusted family member. We were away for almost 2 weeks and during that period Nadina provided frequent updates and pictures which let us enjoy our vacation to its fullest without worry. Willow was so well cared for and loved playing with Nadina’s two well raised dogs. We returned home to a very happy pup. We really feel like we hit the jackpot. Thank you Nadina❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
