“Soumaya is great as always. It's out fifth time to leave or dog Luna under her care, this shows the confidence we have on Soumaya; and the best part is...our dog enjoys spending time with her and her children everytime. Soumaya is highly recommended, A+.”

“Viviane et sa famille ont été absolument formidables avec ma petite Rosie! Ils ont pris soin d’elle avec tellement d’attention et de douceur, et m’ont envoyé des photos et vidéos tout au long de son séjour. Je suis profondément reconnaissante pour leurs soins, leur patience et leur gentillesse. Merci encore, je recommande Viviane sans hésiter!”

“Russell and their family took such fantastic care of our dogs for an extended stay (3+ weeks). We received daily photos and videos, and in them could see how happy our dogs were. They got multiple walks daily, and ran around in the backyard. As someone who has used multiple sitters and kennels, I think this has been one of the best experiences for our dogs. I would 100% recommend having Russell and family taking care of your fur babies; and will definitely use them again if we need dog sitting while in Montreal.”

“Rachel is a fantastic person and a fabulous Dog Sitter… she took care of our dog for a full three days and two nights during the holiday and she made sure we were updated along the way. She had three dogs overall, and she could handle the three of them super well it was obvious in the videos they were having fun. Thank you so much for taking care of Whisky so well.”

“I left Cooper (Rhodesian Ridgeback) with Eve for 5 days. It is quite hard to find a good dog sitter who can accept and handle this breed. She did it perfectly. Communication with Eve was fantastic and I received a couple of pictures of Cooper. I have no regret choosing Eve to watch over my giant gentle and I highly recommend her services. She was able to dog sit few large dogs at the same time.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was about 7 years old my family has always had dogs and cats. I have also worked at Mondou the pet store for 4 years. I have also trained dogs for many years now .family and friends rely on me to pet sit for them all the time as I am the person they trust with their fur babies. I am currently on Matt leave with my 3rd baby, I am home full time making me fully available to dog sit and give lots of time . I have a fully fenced yard and a fully dog proof home . My house is big enough to be able to separate your dog if they do not like other dogs . I have dogs that can entertain and keep your dog company and kids that absolutely love dogs and have so much love to give
“This was our first experience with Rover and we couldn’t be happier. Graeme and Vicky were amazing hosts. We received lots of updates (many with photos) and our Golden Retriever really enjoyed his stay. Thank you!!”

“Maki took very good care of my old dog, Buddy. Regular updates were provided, which helped with my separation anxiety. She went out of her way to make Buddy's stay a pleasant experience for us both.”

“I left my dog Leila with Sondos for a long weekend. She obviously loves dogs and was really good with mine. I came home to a really happy dog who (while she was clearly excited to see me) seemed torn, it was almost as though she didn’t want to leave! You know you’ve found a good dog-sitter when! Leila is my baby and I would not leave her with just anybody. I felt comfortable leaving her with Sondos. She sent me photos and little updates of Leila throughout the stay. She took her on walks and to the park, introduced her to other dogs belonging to friends of hers and made a Leila feel at home in her condo ?? She was also very flexible and understanding when my schedule changed at the last minute. Very much appreciated. I will definitely be contacting her again the next time I am out of town!”

“We love her. She gained my dog’s attention and trust easily. She send us pictures, videos and updates frequently without asking for them; she spoils our dog and our dog was happy and loved!! 🤩 very grateful, totally recommend it. This was our first time and definitely we will come back!!”

“I recommend her! She provided regular pdates and we smiled when I got them, also after a long travel day she was organized and ready for me to make the pick up quick and easy. Thank you! Taz will see you again.😃”

“Amanda is amazing with Bagel, super supportive, sending lots of updates and pictures! She was also able to keep Bagel for an extra day when we were unavoidably delayed in our travels and the overall experience was super smooth and Bagel loves her! Thank you so much 💗”

“Thanks Vicky for the staycation of Muffin - she’s had a lovely home and fluffy friends to play with over Christmas!!! Very grateful for your family to have Muff”

About: I absolutely love all animals and have been caring for my Bernese mountain dog, Walter, for 5 years now. It would be my pleasure to also care for yours while you are away. Any size or age are welcomed. As long as your dog is comfortable and friendly around another dog, cat and kid. :) We will have a blast! I am available for house visits from 9am-3pm on week days and your dog is welcomed in our home for a house stay anytime throughout the week. Schedules to be determined. I work part time from home and have lots of time for walks, dog park visits (if wanted), play and cuddles. On the weekends, we love to go hiking in nature. I have a fenced backyard with lawn. I also have a friendly male 5 year old Bernese Mountain dog who would love the company. We have an elderly cat as well and a 8 year old daughter. So it is important that your dog is friendly with others animals and kids.
“Sooooo happy to have found Joy and Ron after our sitter cancelled last minute. From the minute we met them, we just knew they're true dog lovers. They treated our baby like she would be home and even better! Seeing her opening up to them is heart-warming. They kept us posted with lots of pictures and videos. Their big yard is a bonus. Thank you sooooo much!”

About: I grew up with animals in the home and I have over 15 years of pet sitting experience! I also have the energy levels to keep up with even the highest energy dogs. Aside from a few hours during the week, I work from home. I can adjust my schedule for the most part to ensure every pets needs are met. I live in an apartment with plenty of nearby parks to take them to play. My building is very safe when it comes to other animals being well behaved. I also don't take on multiple pets so your pet will receive all the attention it needs. When I'm pet sitting in your home I like to follow a similar routine to what your pet is used to. In terms of eating, playtime, going to the bathroom etc. That way while you're away they feel more comfortable and safe.

Agathe was very caring towards our pup! She took him on many walks, and made sure to try and ease his anxiety. He got lots of cuddles and playtime. We could tell that Agathe is really a dog lover and that was comforting while we were apart from him. We highly recommend Agathe, she truly cares and is very kind. Thanks again for taking such good care of Banksy Agathe!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
