About: Hi there! We’re Mackenzie and Sami and we adore animals! 🐶 Mackenzie’s experience: I love all animals!! I’ve basically been surrounding by them since I was born! From taking care of chickens and bunnies, to walking three dogs, to loving two birds and one rescue cat, I’ve almost done it all! For the past two years at home, I’ve had three big dogs and two birds all at once, and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it! I also know how to respect a scared animals space. I’ve dealt with both a cat(Sami’s cat) and a dog(my own dog) who need much more space than others. 🐱 Sami’s experience: I have a very similar experience to Mackenzie’s! This is mostly because I’ve been living part-time at her house for nearly a year, so I care for the wonderful zoo of three dogs and two birds as well. And the scaredy cat she mentioned is mine! He is quite jumpy, but I give him the most space possibly and give him attention when he wants it so that it is on his terms! 📚— We are both 18 year-old cegep students studying sciences at John Abbott college! We are very dedicated students who are both on the Dean’s List. We are in school five days a week, but have gaps in our schedules and finish before 3 on many days, making time for your pets to be adored! We are free on weekends to house sit and dog walk, and can house sit (long term or short term) if the house is close enough to John Abbott! We could also dog walk during out breaks or after school on weekdays. In your home, we would be very respectful, following all rules put in place. Although we are a young couple, we don’t lack responsibility! Your pets would also be treated with the utmost respect and gentleness, as that is what all animals deserve.

About: I’ve grown up around animals and currently have both a dog and a cat of my own, so caring for pets has always been part of my daily life. I’ve also volunteered with dogs at the SPCA and currently volunteer with cats, helping with feeding, cleaning, socialization, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I’m also studying at McGill and hope to become a veterinarian one day, so animal care is something I’m truly passionate about both now and in the future. I am a student at McGill University which gives me some of flexibility for walks, drop-in visits, pet sitting, and spending quality time with your pets. Since I already care for my own dog and cat, pet care is naturally part of my routine. I’m reliable, active, and happy to adapt to your pet’s schedule, whether they need exercise, playtime, feeding, or just some company during the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide care in your home, where pets can stay in a familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. Whether that includes walks, playtime, feeding, medication, or simply keeping them company, I’ll follow your instructions carefully and make sure your pet receives the attention and care they need. I understand that every animal has a unique personality and different needs, so I take the time to get to know each pet and help them feel comfortable and secure. I’m attentive, patient, and committed to creating a safe, positive experience for both pets and their owners. I’ll also keep you updated throughout my visits so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

“Sabrina was excellent with my dog. My dog is anxious and takes medication for epilepsy. Sabrina was punctual, took her time to bond with my dog and make her feel comfortable. She came 3 times for me over a span of 2 days and my dog is very happy and comfortable with her. Her reports are thorough, detailed and she provided lots of pictites of my happy pup! I always strive to provide the best care possible, ensuring that every dog feels safe, comfortable, and happy. Along with meeting their daily needs, I make sure to give them plenty of attention, affection, love, and cuddles so they feel right at home. 🐾 I currently work part-time and attend school, which gives me flexibility to drop in, check on your pup, take them for a walk, or simply spend some quality time with them. I'm available during mornings (including early mornings), afternoons, and evenings. During the summer, I have even greater availability since I'm off school and can dedicate more time to caring for your furry friend! I have a yard and am fortunate to have both a forest and a dog park nearby, which are perfect for long walks and games of fetch. I enjoy keeping dogs active through fun activities such as running, playtime, and enrichment exercises. Every dog is different, some love to run and play, while others prefer leisurely walks and plenty of time to sniff and explore. I always adapt to each dog's pace and needs, allowing them to enjoy their walks and get their daily "news" from all the interesting scents along the way.

About: We have had pets of our own for the last 30 years. We have taken care of our family’s and neighbors’ pets for the last 12 years. We have a two storey house with a fenced yard and two dogs of our own to keep your pets company. We will take care of our friend as a part of our family!!

About: With my personal pets, work, and volunteering experiences, I've cared for all kinds of animals, you name it I've cared for it! Squirrels, piglets, sheep, hedgehogs, chickens, birds, cats, dogs and more! I fell in love with animals long ago and decided to make it my career to learn and love them initially on the path to being a vet but ultimately training to be a wildlife biologist! My own dog is a German Shepherd/Labrador mix that is a sweet teddy bear due to his wonderful personality and my training. I'm currently a cegep student but I'm available in the mornings and evenings to check on your pups or walk them! I'm also available on weekends. My schedule on week-days is fixed so there are days that I finish earlier or start later that we can discuss. I don't mind having another reason to procrastinate a lab report, I can do my homework while I watch your pup! We'll find a perfect time for you and your pup! :) Since I have a large dog of my own and two cats, I cannot provide boarding at my home but I'm more than willing to stay over at your place. Your house, your dog's rules ;), I will make sure to create and maintain a warm and safe environment for your dog!

About: I grew up with animals in the home and I have over 15 years of pet sitting experience! I also have the energy levels to keep up with even the highest energy dogs. Aside from a few hours during the week, I work from home. I can adjust my schedule for the most part to ensure every pets needs are met. I live in an apartment with plenty of nearby parks to take them to play. My building is very safe when it comes to other animals being well behaved. I also don't take on multiple pets so your pet will receive all the attention it needs. When I'm pet sitting in your home I like to follow a similar routine to what your pet is used to. In terms of eating, playtime, going to the bathroom etc. That way while you're away they feel more comfortable and safe.

About: i understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal, and i don’t take that lightly. after years of assisting my vet uncle i actually became a pro fraternity cleaner ! my goal is always to make sure your baby feels comfortable, happy, and cared for while giving you total peace of mind. expect lots of love, attention, playtime, high pitch voice and of course loads of TREATS! i’m available for boarding on tuesdays and all weekends usually a i am still a student but of course i am open to anything in case of urgent situations to accomodate you. i live in an apartment so i spend a lot walking time morning and night usually. i also train my dog daily and have a specific schedule for play time and rest time throughout the day. i have a lovely puppy ocho who loves hanging out with new friends ! he has plenty of toys and treats ready to be shared right away.

With shy or nervous dogs, I always let them approach on their own terms and give them the freedom to take breaks or step away when needed. I also believe in balancing physical and mental stimulation. These activities work well for high-energy dogs and can also help more nervous or shy dogs feel comfortable and confident. I have experience caring for large and small dogs, puppies, and senior dogs, as well as administering medication including pills, liquids, topical treatments, and ear drops. I am very comfortable following vet instructions and care routines, and I tend to be very organized and attentive to detail. I’m currently a work-from-home professional so I am quite flexible time and space wise. I am available at virtually any time and can readily offer overnight care in your home while you’re away. With a persistent attention to detail, I frequently look out for when an animal is trying to communicate a need, such as them wanting water, to play, to eat, to be pet, etc. I always ensure they have fresh, clean water and that they are fed the appropriate amount and on time. I also like to spend quality time with them giving them belly rubs and and behind-the-ear scratches. I also look out for their safety by keeping things that might be dangerous out of reach as well as checking in on them frequently to make sure they are doing well :)

About: I worked in a pet hotel for over 10 years. I've been called a dog whisperer as I'm able to help shy and scared dogs come out of their shells. I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember, I would bring strays home when I was very young and work in dog rescue. I'm currently from home so I have a very flexible schedule and can work around what my client needs at the time they need catsitting. I have a fenced in yard and my own fur child to keep your pet company. I have crates and seperate spaces your dog can feel comfortable in if they would not like to sleep in the master bedroom with me and my dog. I can set up a playpen area anywhere they're comfortable and put their bed/crate in a number of different locations depending on what they're used to/more comfortable with.
