About: I’ve owned dogs for the last 25 year’s. I had some training in training a service dog plus regular obedience classes. Looking forward to meeting everyone. I’m in early retirement. I have plenty of time to help others get things done they need to do. They will be loved while the family is away. I have a dog friendly home. I have a dog that I have lot’s of fun with but she is energetic and would hopefully be able to keep your dog company. I take Shaylie out for two walks a day and she loves to play monkey in the middle. She also loves her belly rubs. Fetch is a good game too. I spend time in the backyard with them, spend time cuddling them, and brushing them.

About: I’m able to take care of any animal small or large. I prefer taking care of them in your home so that they are less stressed if you are away while I do my own home I still prefer going into yours. It is healthier and better for your babies to have something that is familiar to them. I’m on shift work so I’m available quite often. No matter what I will ensure that your babies are well taken care of and get the attention and cuddles that they need. I care for your babies the way you request me too. On the type of animal or you’re living situation then I would be taking care of them the way they should be. Either playing with them outside mentally draining them with puzzles or just cuddling them on the couch I will make sure that the rules are not broken if they are crate trained I’m okay with that if they are allowed on the furniture, I’m good with that as well.

“This was my very first time using Rover and must say Ruth was great with Lupita, very caring and attentive great space to keep her active. also, frequent updates. I am relieved to leave my pup with someone that has so much attention to give. Lupita will stay at Ruth's for 2 weeks and wouldn't be in better hands.”

“I am visiting North Bay from Los Angeles and needed a sitter for my 7mos old Pepper. Satt was AMAZING. Her pick-up and drop off service is out of this world. She arrived a few minutes early and was super friendly... Pepper took to her instantly. She was super attentive to Pepper's needs and sent pics of my sweet pup's adventure throughout the day. Pepper was in heaven playing with all the adorable dogs at Satt's place, there was plenty of room to run and frolic... In short, my best buddy had the time of her puppy life. Next time I come to North Bay Satt is the only one I'm going to call! Fantastic sitter! 6 STARS!!!”

About: I own a cat and a dog. My cat's name is Jac and is a domestic longhair. I got him at a shelter when he was two months old and now he is seven years old, living with my parents in China. My dog is a mini australian sheperd. Her name is Bird. I got her when she was also two months old, and now she is almost four. I trained Bird all by myself. She knows a bunch of tricks and is very socially adaptive. I have also had experiences taking care of friends' dogs both as a house sitter and their dogs at my place. I have been working remotely since completing my master's degree in 2020. So I almost spent all day with Bird unless I was on vacation, in which case I would have a friend to look after her. I have been living in NJ and NY, US for the past four years, and have two friends who travels regularly for work. I have been the go-to sitter for their pets. I bring Bird to their home and stay with their dogs. I also have friends bringing their dogs to my apartment when they go on weekend trips, work trips, or long vacations. I have taken care for dogs in all sizes and respect all kinds of needs for different pet, such as medications, meal preparation, walking, brushing, etc. I own more than 30 plants at my apartment, and I have also been taking care of friends' plants when they are away. I know very well how much and when to water. I have travelled to more than 10 countries and I use Airbnb all the time. If it's a house sit, I can make sure your plants and home will be well-cared for. I have been a freelance education counselor since graduating from my master's program in 2020, and I have been taking a gap year starting the summer of 2024 to pursue my aspiration in art and traveling around. I enjoy a life of remote working and am used to a digital nomad lifestyle, which means I don't have a fixed schedule for work or any other errands. I could dedicate all of my attention to the need of your fur babies! I am interested in animals, plants, art, reading, travelling, workout, food, and learning everything I don't know before. I am a very curious person and believe in life-long learning. For the past year and a half I have been focusing more seriously on art. I do glassmaking, ceramics, Chinese traditional painting, henna, etc. I am exploring the possibility of pursuing art professionally by becoming a self-taught artist. Hence my time is very flexible and a customized time schedule is of no problem. I could customize my schedule to meet their specific feeding, walking, playtime, or medical needs. “With Maxine, we never need to worry about our little pug. Maxine has a huge heart, and will care for your pet as if it is her own. She was the best dog mom to Rogue. Maxine loves to be outdoors, and enjoys the canine companionship on long walks and hikes! Maxine will get to know your dog, and cater to their individual needs. It’s such a pleasure to have peace of mind while vacationing knowing that our dog is safe and comfy at home in his bed, and Maxine is taking care of him!”

Huan Z.
“I have known Huan for over 7 years and she's always been such a caring, kind, and supportive friend of mine. She helped take care of my dog in Beijing a couple of times when I had to take a business trip out of the city. My dog "Niu Niu" looves her! And I would like to mention that Niu Niu is a very shy dog who tends to keep distance from people. Yet, to my surprise, she displays huge interest and affection towards Huan. I believe they enjoy each other's company very much! With such a kind and loving heart, I can confidently guarantee you that she's the best person to trust with your pets.”
