“When I dropped Bolt and Smokey off for daycare at Anna's, they recognized her front door. They patiently waited to go inside and it warmed my heart to see Bolt prancing when he got in. I was greeted by the grandma who said she missed them and a little girl who was saying, "Doggy doggy!". Anna was wonderful welcoming them in the house and sending me pictures throughout the day. At pick up, I knew they had a great time, the tell tale sign is when they don't want to leave. The family said their goodbyes and I'm looking forward to dropping them off for boarding in a couple weeks. Wonderful communication and service from Anna. Thank you so much for accommodating my two old doggies. My mind is so at ease knowing they are well loved at your place. Big thank you to Rosseau for sharing his humans with them. Thank you!”

About: Since 2017, I have been helping friends and neighbours to walk/take care of their dogs and cats while they’re away on work or vacations. In my childhood, I had my own schnauzer (named Dot dot) at my hometown and he’s my best friend. I’m working full-time from home, and have flexible schedules during daytime. Over weekends, I’m an outdoor person who enjoys hiking, tennis, or just take a walk in parks. I do not have any children or other pets at home. There’s a park which is only 2 minutes away from our house, which is quite convenient for potty break.

About: I have cared for dogs for family and friends for many years. That hands-on experience taught me how to read a dog’s needs and make them feel safe and comfortable. I also volunteered as a dog handler for a 8-week period to compete in a dog show competition, where I learned how to manage dogs of all temperaments in high-energy environments. On top of my hands-on experience, I am majoring in Animal Biology, a field I chose because of my love for animals. This education has deepened my understanding of animal health and behaviour, making me a more knowledgeable and attentive caregiver. Pet care fits perfectly into my life because my schedule is open and flexible. I am a full time pet sitter, which means the pets in my care always have my full attention. My home is set up perfectly for pets to feel comfortable and free. I have a large fenced backyard where dogs can run, play, and explore safely. I also have access to a nearby trails, which is perfect for dogs who love a good walk and some outdoor adventure. My house is fully dog proof as well I am able to separate different dogs based on their size or other needs.
