About: Recently, on March 14, 2025, my cat of 11.5 years passed away. He was suspected to have congestive heart failure but died before it could be officially diagnosed. He was my entire world. As he got older, I learned more and more about what cats need. Their diet, their exercise, their play. I would feed him before I would feed myself. About: In addition to 20+ years of animal care experience in my own home, I currently work as a veterinary assistant for an animal hospital, where I am responsible for assisting in monitoring dogs before/ during/ after medical procedures, as well as providing animal husbandry for short and extended stays. I feel comfortable handling any companion animal regardless of species, age, health status or temperament, and am happy to administer medications and follow specific feeding/ bathing routines. My personal experience includes caring for the 4 cats I currently live with, and extends to dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, birds, and reptiles that I have owned/ baby sat in the past. If scheduled for an overnight stay, I will be gone from your house no more than 8 hours at a time on weekdays, and will carve out my whole weekend to spend quality time with your critters! About: I have had the pleasure of raising 3 dogs: Lab-Great Dane, a Morkie and a Cockapoo! My childhood dog was a Bouvier! About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I’ve walked dogs from small to large and from friendly to reactive. I went to Seneca college for Veterinary assistant where I learned to care for all animals including dogs, cats, hamsters, mice, and rats. I’ve worked at both vet clinics and doggie daycares. At the doggie daycare I learned how to identify certain dog behaviour and how to handle breeds from small to large. My own dog was rescued and dealt with a lot of anxiety. After training she is now a fully off leash and care free dog. I’m currently working full time as a kennel attendant. I don’t have a set schedule but I can make time during the week for all your needs. I’m available weekdays depending on when I work and i’m available weekends also depending on when I work. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly dog to keep your dog company. If you prefer your dog not to interact with mine I can easily crate her. I also can crate your dog if you’d like to as well.
About: I have had my pet bird for 11 years, graduated the vet assistant program in August 2023, and have been volunteering at a cat shelter for almost 2 years now but other than the shelter experience, and around four months worth of experience from school working with different kinds of animals, bunnies, rats, mice, farm animals, etc!! I have a pretty open schedule. But as for how does PetCare fit into my daily routine, Since I have a bird, it’s something I do daily, multiple times a day, and have been doing every day for the past 13 years , it’s all about patience and continuously bettering the care I can give. Safety is definitely the biggest priority, in both parties. Since I don’t offer at home services only at clients home, and dog walking. Being able to ask questions and finding out the pet’s personality I think would be be the best way to be safe and create a healthy environment
