I’ve taken care of family and friends dogs while they’ve been away I’m currently working full time out of the house in Stratford Monday to Friday 8-4. “Our dogs are like our children so we won't leave them with just anyone. Similarly, you want the most trustworthy of people when they are living in your home while looking after your pets. We chose carefully and met CJ on two occasions before setting the contract. We could not have been happier with CJ. We have two miniature schnauzers who are 11 years old (litter mates). They are reasonably well behaved until someone comes to the door following which there is about 5 minutes of welcoming the guest with barking. Other than that, they are quite well behaved. On the first visit with CJ, they took to him immediately ... they followed him around as though they'd known him for years. The visit was about an hour and after he left, they spent time searching the house for him. The second visit was over dinner at our home so we could help him get to know the house and become more familiar with our fur babies. They paid so much attention to him that we became like the furniture ... things that didn't interest them!! LOL The night before we left on our three week vacation, CJ came over for any last minute instructions and met the neighbours so he would have people to reach out to, should that be necessary, and so they would not wonder who this stranger was in our home. When the time came for our three week trip, CJ moved in and took over. He sent us photos of his adventures with the dogs ... every other day ... both photos and videos. I don't know if all pet/house sitters do this but it is both reassuring and makes the absence less difficult ... we both missed our fur babies a great deal. In terms of the house, CJ was great. We have a security system that tells us (no matter where we are in the world when doors open or close, when there is someone at the front door, if the alarm has been triggered) and apart from the first day growing pains of accidentally setting it off, CJ managed like a pro. The house was spotless when we returned and the dogs, while very happy to see us, searched the house for CJ again. CJ is a gentle giant (body builder) who gets down on the floor an plays with your animals, takes them for walks and has a lovely personality. He is kind and kept us informed on how things were going. I would not hesitate to have CJ take over for us again, should we need his service. We highly recommend him and believe you'll have a hard time finding anyone more competent or which whom you'll be more comfortable. Thanks CJ ... you're the best.”

I want to help others when they can't be home to let out or feed their furry friends I work full time at home so I can do early morning drop ins and evening drop ins as well as weekend visits for any families needing this service. About: Growing up on a farm, having dogs was just part of my life. When I met and married my husband, who also loved dogs, we were never without a dog in our 46 years of marriage. Sadly my husband passed away in 2022 and the next summer my dog passed too. I really miss walking Twila and taking care of her. She was what kept me going after the passing of my husband. This past December I sold my house and am presently looking for something with low maintenance. I have just retired from nursing and am free to travel anywhere, anytime. I have few commitments and my calendar is quite empty. I do have 4 children and 8 grandchildren which does take up some of my time. I enjoy walking so taking your fur baby for walks is enjoyable for me. My career was in nursing so I have no objections to giving extra care such as medications etc.

About: Hi! I’m Tina. I grew up on a farm so I’ve taken care of plenty of dogs and animals. I have one Great Dane of my own that loves making friends and gets along with all dogs she meets. We’ll devote our attention to your furry family member and make sure they’re safe and have a great time while you’re away! I’m home full time, so have lots of time to play with the pups. The longest time your pup would be without my attention is three hours, specifically on Sunday mornings. I don’t have a yard, however we go on a minimum of two walks per day so your pup will get plenty of exercise and stimulation.

About: I became devoted about caring for animals beginning with dogs. My Grandmother owned 3 Boston Terriers that I loved to walk and play with. I did this for a 13 year period of time. I learned how to look after multiple dogs who had very different personalities. I learned to feed, groom and walk them at the same time. My grandmother mentored me how to walk them with little to no issues, brush their teeth, feed them and cut their nails. She also owned a Finch which I also helped take care of when I visited. My own pet was a Bunny. Buggsy was with us for 10 years. Rabbits are very unique in their needs and I learned a lot caring for him. He was very loved and cared for, not caged and I know it was for this reason he lived such a long happy life. I also owned two beta fish at different periods in my life and they both lived a very healthy 3 and 6 years. One my most favourite experiences was spent at the barn with my friend who owned a thoroughbred horse. For approximately 7 years, I was fortunate enough to spend many hours at the barn learning to ride as well as grooming and feeding the horses. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience as the barn also had cats, kittens, bunny’s, dogs and sheep. I hope to one or multiple of these animals one day. I am a calm, patient, and compassionate person. You can rest a sure that your fur baby, water baby or feathered friend will be taken care of in a kind and gentle manner. What ever time you are away, you can do so with peace of mind :) I am a Student of The University of Toronto. Monday to Thursday, I have 2 classes a day with a 2 or 3 hour brake between classes. I have Friday's off and I am available to home/ pet sit on weekends (including during the week if you will be away on holiday) to pet walk/ pet sit at your home. I will follow instructions laid out for me by you, the pet owner. I will carry out routines as closely to your pets usual day or as per instructions. If there should be an emergency I will follow your emergency instructions or depending on the circumstance will call an emergency vet clinic. What ever your pet needs or special instructions you can be assured I will follow your wishes.

About: As a lifelong pet owner, I understand the responsibility that comes with caring for animals. I had the pleasure of owning two dogs from the ages of 5 to 20 and have gained invaluable experience in handling dogs of all ages and sizes. I walked dogs in my hometown, and have also done daily check-ins to play with and feed my neighbours dogs and cats. From daily walks to administering medication, I am well-versed in meeting the individual needs of each dog. I also care for two cats, so I am comfortable working with multiple pets at once. With my passion for animals and attention to detail, I am confident I would make a great dog walker and provide your furry friend with the love and care they deserve. I have a relatively fixed schedule. I work at an elementary school from 8:30-3:30 Monday To Friday with free evenings and weekends. I live with my Mom and Dad (who also use Rover!), and my Dad comes home from 11am-12pm for lunch, and will be able to let your pup run around in our fenced yard for a bathroom break before I return home from work. We have two cats — one who is very comfortable with dogs, and the other who is indifferent, but keeps to herself in her own area of the house your dog will not have access to. We live in a rather large two storey home with a beautiful big fenced in yard, and walking trails that run through our neighbourhood. Your pup is sure to love it here! Depending on the distance and the timing, I may be willing to house sit in your home. I have lots of experience doing this. I always leave the space the same way I found it, and I take great care of your pet from the comfort of their home.

I can also provide any medical needs for your pet, I've given insulin and meds so my pets in the past and my friends animals I'm available on weekends and during the week after 5pm to walk or take care of your furry friend.
