About: I’ve cared for dogs since childhood, with years of hands-on experience and genuine love. I believe a home is where a dog lives — so I create a warm, safe, and affectionate space where every dog feels like part of the family. After a fulfilling career as a professor and researcher, I’ve chosen to dedicate this new chapter of my life to caring for dogs — a passion that has always run deep in my family. I offer flexible availability, including weekends, and bring warmth, patience, and genuine love to every moment spent with them. I care for pets in my own home, which is fully fenced and safe — perfect for dogs to relax, play, and feel at ease. I don’t have a dog of my own at the moment; my last companion passed away after 14 wonderful years together. That experience deepened my love and understanding of dogs, and I now bring full attention and affection to every pet I welcome. I offer personalized care, keeping their routines and preferences in mind, whether it’s feeding, playtime, or quiet cuddles. For walks, I choose calm routes and adjust the pace to each dog’s needs. I currently focus on care in my home, always creating a loving, secure environment that feels just like home to them.

“It was our first time using Rover and Pukker (9-month-old pup), and I had a great experience with Tenille and her family! Pukker is my first dog, and I may be a helicopter dog mum while learning about dog behaviour etc. After our meet and greet, I felt comfortable leaving Pukker with Tenille, who stepped in at the last minute for boarding. They were all very knowledgeable and caring! Pukker was very happy when I left her, and Tenille sent updates and pictures and gave my pup the best care. Although it was only a two-night stay, my partner and I have noticed Pukker is calmer and doing much better on leashed walks! We both agree that I made the right choice for our pup! I recommend Tenille and plan to book more pup staycations with her!”

Luckily I found Evelyn and Gerardo and they graciously agreed to take Molly with just a few hours notice for 10 days! They were amazing to deal with, and treated Molly so well. (I think she would’ve been quite happy to stay! Haha). Videos and pictures were sent every day and I felt totally at ease leaving her with them. About: I have taken care of cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds and bunnies for friends, family and neighbors for over 30 years. My family and I love pets. I understand that they each pet communicates in a different way and will miss you very much. I welcome special instructions if required. Please bring their favorite toys, beds etc. Water bowls and litterboxes are cleaned daily. I can send daily photos and updates to keep in touch. Accepting pets only from one household at a time to make sure they are comfortable and happy while you are away. I have experience with senior cats and dogs who may have special needs, diets, exercise routines and medication. There is a set of steps up to the apartment which may be difficult for dogs with spinal surgeries. I look forward to meeting your cat or dog! Call or book today to make sure that the time is reserved. I am currently studying and have plenty of time in the mornings, evenings and weekends to give loving attention to your cat or dog. I love walking when dogs are staying and love hanging out with cats and giving them loving cuddles if they like that. I have an apartment with a nice balcony window. There are several green areas and parks in the vicinity. I keep cats safely indoors. I change and clean the water bowls daily. I only accept pets from one household at a time. There will be no other pets in my home during your pet's stay.

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats of many kinds since I was a kid. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and care for their pets. I am experienced with pet mediation and dogs with special care needs. I am currently home all day, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pets! I'm available for boarding on weekdays and weekends. I have a fenced yard and give personalized and loving attention. I can easily crate your pet if needed.
