About: Having grown up in a family with 3 cats and a dog, I've always had a strong love and interest in animals. I feel that I can really relate to the animal and get a sense of their soul. I looked after both dogs and cats while travelling in Europe. (During this time, I was working remotely as a freelance translator.) I have experience with various breeds, in particular, greyhounds, as I had an extended sit caring for a senior Spanish greyhound for 6 weeks. I have also cared for multiple cats and dogs at the same time, as I looked after 2 dogs and 2 cats at a house sit in England. I am based in Winnipeg and have a car to get to your location. I am a self-employed freelancer with plenty of spare time for pet care. At the moment, I am devoting most of my time to animal care. I always treat my clients' home and property with the upmost respect and I pay particular attention to the hand-over procedure and any special details or information about your home and/or your pets. I send photo updates throughout the day, a private album from day one, and a personal report at pickup about who your dog turned out to be during their stay. No kennels. No crates. One dog at a time (or two from the same family) to fully attend just your baby. I provide an exclusive, low-stress environment by strictly hosting only one pet or more from the same family . Whether you have one dog or a bonded pair from the same household, they will never have to share space, toys, or attention with strange dogs. Perfect for pups who prefer a quiet, dedicated home! Regarding schedule, I'm at home all day so I have time available to take care of your pets. The house has a backyard and I live in a nice neighborhood with plenty of trails with lakes and forests to walk and enjoy the scenery of Bridgwater. When it comes to safety and the environment, the house has a backyard and I make sure to take care of one pet at the time or more from the same family. can play with them and feed them as per your schedule. If your dog cannot go on walks we will keep him inside with indoor activities.

About: We know how hard it is to trust someone with your baby and we don’t take that responsibility lightly. It even took us a whole year of knowing our own sitter (now friend) before we felt comfortable leaving our pets in their care. It's our duty to make sure your pets are always safe and happy under our care. “Our pomeranian Taro had a wonderful first day at Meli's. Taro is at a higher risk of joint issues, and since it's too cold to play out, it's hard to entertain him indoors as he's very high energy. Meli sent a video of him playing at her home, and she was very mindful of Taro's legs and made sure he's not running on slippery floor, but still having a very fun play time! She took such good care of our puppy and gave me so much peace to know he was in good hands! After daycare with Dorotea our puppy was potty trained and finally sleeping through most of the night! It can be difficult trusting new people with your baby but I had no fears at all with Dorotea- I only wish I could hire her full time and keep her to myself! She cares for every pet as if it was her own and is so great at sending tons of lovely photo/video updates throughout the day! We will definitely be back anytime we need the extra help!”
