“I found myself in need of someone to look after Livvy on pretty short notice. I was a little bit worried because she’s not the greatest on leash walker and she’s also never stayed with anybody but friends and family, so staying with a stranger is new to her. Richard and Melissa were great, the first night when she was showing signs of being a little bit anxious they insured that she got out for a decompressing walk and then they took her to an area of the house that was a little less stimulating so she could have some quiet time. Knowing that someone was picking up on her cues was really reassuring for Me and also for Liivvy. They were very communicative the whole time she was staying there making sure that I got photos and they let me know how she was settling in. I would have zero hesitations about recommending them or booking with them again.”

About: I've had dogs since I was a kid, I'm used to big, high energy, and stubborn dogs of all ages! We've been fostering pups on and off for over a decade. We have a senior dog and an 11 month old puppy at home and have cared for 5 foster pups in 2026 alone. I'm currently off work with a disability and have been taking care of dogs and puppies on a volunteer basis/as a foster. I'm taking a break from fostering and figured I could do this in the meantime! Since I'm not currently working I can offer a lot of time, energy, training and care to a dog. We have a 11 month old female husky x puppy at our house who is incredible with other dogs and loves to play all day long! We have a fenced yard. I'm home all day, and my wife works from home so we can hang out with and keep an eye on your dog(s). We can crate your pooch if necessary overnight or if we need to pop out and we have small medium and xl crates at home. We have 2 kids at home 14 and 4 who love to help out and play.

“Our pomeranian Taro had a wonderful first day at Meli's. Taro is at a higher risk of joint issues, and since it's too cold to play out, it's hard to entertain him indoors as he's very high energy. Meli sent a video of him playing at her home, and she was very mindful of Taro's legs and made sure he's not running on slippery floor, but still having a very fun play time! It is very easy for me to get along with animals whether it be dogs or cats, I love to interact with all of them. I'm currently available most days of the week after 11 am, however, I would love to work out a schedule that works the best for you and your dogs! My home have a fenced small yard and unfenced big yard. The small yard is big enough for small-medium dogs to run around. I will let the owner to choose what is best for their dogs.

“I found myself in need of someone to look after Livvy on pretty short notice. I was a little bit worried because she’s not the greatest on leash walker and she’s also never stayed with anybody but friends and family, so staying with a stranger is new to her. Richard and Melissa were great, the first night when she was showing signs of being a little bit anxious they insured that she got out for a decompressing walk and then they took her to an area of the house that was a little less stimulating so she could have some quiet time. Knowing that someone was picking up on her cues was really reassuring for Me and also for Liivvy. They were very communicative the whole time she was staying there making sure that I got photos and they let me know how she was settling in. I would have zero hesitations about recommending them or booking with them again.”
