Truffle is 10 years old, and we had just made a 1,600 km move when he needed a sitter. I'm always nervous when I have to leave him, but Colleen's photos and updates reassured me and kept me relaxed. Truffle probably had more of a vacation than I did! Colleen went above and beyond with keeping Truffle entertained and happy, even purchasing a bag of dog treats for him that fit his very particular dietary restrictions. I have two black lab crossed dogs and two cats that I love with all my heart, even though I only get to see them on my visits back to my home town. About: Hi there ! My name is Aimee, I’m a 22 year old University of Manitoba student athlete and of course an animal lover. I grew up around cats and multiple dogs that provided me with crucial experience in caring for pets through feeding, bathing, training, walking, vet visits, and lots of love and affection. About: I've had dogs since I was a kid, I'm used to big, high energy, and stubborn dogs of all ages! We've been fostering pups on and off for over a decade. We have a senior dog and an 11 month old puppy at home and have cared for 5 foster pups in 2026 alone. I'm currently off work with a disability and have been taking care of dogs and puppies on a volunteer basis/as a foster. I'm taking a break from fostering and figured I could do this in the meantime! Since I'm not currently working I can offer a lot of time, energy, training and care to a dog. We have a 11 month old female husky x puppy at our house who is incredible with other dogs and loves to play all day long! We have a fenced yard. I'm home all day, and my wife works from home so we can hang out with and keep an eye on your dog(s). We can crate your pooch if necessary overnight or if we need to pop out and we have small medium and xl crates at home. We have 2 kids at home 14 and 4 who love to help out and play.
