“Yvette cared for my dog three days in a row, she was very accommodating for the last minute booking. My dog was excited to see her after the first visit and seemed to be very happy to spend time with Yvette”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my entire life as I grew up on a small acreage where we always had dogs and cats as pets! Now as an adult I have 2 dogs of my own who I love and spoil immensely! I love to take my dogs for walks and hikes regularly! I have a 1 year old male shepherd and a 4 year old female shepherd. I have dedicated a lot of time to training them puppies and have carried on into their adulthood. I have experience administering medications and ear cleaning. I have experience taking care of dogs of all sizes, small, medium, large, and extra large. I have experience taking care of all ages of dogs puppy, adult and senior. I work full time shift work, typically 3 days on and 3 days off roughly, so my availability will be different every week! I will ensure to keep this updated. I wake up at 5am daily to feed my own pets on a schedule and I administer their daily medications. I take my dogs for regular walks (typically 5km walks) and hikes (typically 10km hikes). I play with my dogs and cats daily and give them lots of love! My dogs are both kennel trained. I have a medium sized fenced yard that they get to play in and enjoy whenever they desire as I have bells at my back door they ring when they would like to go outside! I have tons of different kinds of dog toys they love to play with. My cats have free roam of the house at all times. They have multiple litter boxes that I clean daily. They have tons of cat toys they play with constantly. They have multiple cat trees throughout the house that they can climb and enjoy at their leisure. Caring for pets in a clients home I will follow the direction of the client to ensure their pet receives the best and most accurate care to the best of my ability! I want to ensure all pets are comfortable and are happy with the care I provide them!
About: Hello! My name is Luisa, and my pets are my whole world. I promise to take care of your babies as if they were my own. I am especially passionate about working with animals who may be fearful or have special needs. I have previously completed a two-year apprenticeship under a force-free dog trainer in Calgary, and although I am not currently working as a trainer due to completing my master's, what I learned informs all my interactions with animals. Through fostering and our own pets, I have experience administering medications to a wide range of animals (dogs, cats, bearded dragons, geckos, hedgehogs). At home, my husband and I have two dogs, a cat, and a multitude of reptiles and exotics. We also foster from time to time, which has given us experience with so many other species and personalities. Please let me know if you have any questions, I'd love to answer them. I am in Red Deer for a practicum placement Monday-Wednesday, and in Calgary the remainder of the week. I can be somewhat flexible with this, so please feel free to message me! My pets would describe me as a helicopter mom, I would describe me as attentive! When I travel, our pet-sitter gets a multi-page document on everyone's needs, so I am not intimidated to receive the same; this just means I can adjust my routine to your pet(s)'...it is their home after all!
About: I have been caring for dogs since I was a young teenager. Dogs are truly my passion. I have been caring for digs of all ages from neonatal puppies, to senior dogs and am confident I can provide care that is just like family to your dog. I have pets of my own who get daily care (walks, play time, training time) daily. I am excited for the opportunity to care for other dogs too! In my home my pets are on a daily routine, we get up in the morning to potty and play, then relax for a bit before we go out on a walk. We train throughout the day in small sessions. Routine is the best for any dog.
