“My husband and I love to travel. A big factor in the last 2 years (in addition to the pandemic) that prevented us from traveling as much as we wanted was that we now live far away from our families who would pet sit our cats usually. So when we had our recent trip to Spain, it was so crucial for us to find a pet and house sitter that we trusted with our 3 cat babies. Jessa was absolutely amazing with the care of our 3 babies. Nothing is more indicative of how great Jessa is with cats than the behavior of our middle cat, Trinity. Trinity is truly a scaredy cat and takes months or even years to trust anyone that isn't my husband or I. We've had friends who would come over to our house for years and they only see her in her hiding spots. But when Jessa was pet and house sitting, Trinity came out when Jessa was present within the first week! She even let Jessa approach her and sniffed her in the second week and would eat out in public with her siblings. It goes to show how sweet and gentle Jessa is with cats to have Trinity trust her so quickly. In addition, Jessa took excellent care of our house. We found our permanent pet and house sitter in PEI! About: I have worked with different animals for many years, at an animal camp and as a pet sitter. I have taken care of cats, dogs, birds and reptiles before and cater how I care for pets based on owner’s preferences and directions. I make sure to provide, cleaning, nutrition, enrichment and lots of cuddles! I am a university student so I do not provide full day care. I am available most of the weekends, with small periods of time I have to be on campus. I can do overnights and late afternoons any day of the week and can check in for some hours throughout the day, just not 24 hours a day. Very flexible with hours! I currently have my cat living with me in university. She gets her meals on a regular schedule, I keep the room clean for her, she gets lost of attention and toys. At a client’s house I will follow the feeding schedule given, make sure the pet gets play time and attention, make sure dogs get exercise and goes on walks according to how the owner prefers it. I make sure to take dogs out for walks or in backyards before I leave the houses to prevent accidents in the house.

About: I have always had cats and dogs, of various age and size, in my home my whole life. I love going on walks and have experience walking multiple dogs at one time. I don’t have much training experience but I can keep up with existing training if instructed to! I have also worked on a sustainable farm and can care for chickens, goats, and pigs! I currently only have a part time job from Tuesday-Thursday, 8am-3:30pm. This job is half remote and half in person. Besides this I’m very flexible right now and on those days I can leave for lunch to let a puppy out if needed :). I don’t have the capacity to care for an animal in my own home unfortunately. I also wouldn’t like to stress out a pet anymore than usual so I am happy to do drop-ins or stay in the home of the pet.

“Because my cat Pickles is very distrusting, anxious about 'intruders' and grumpy. Most pet sitters will only quickly top off the water and food bowls and then leave (sometimes out of fear) . But Sam is the best! She understands Pickles and is patient enough to let Pickles relax, and even cat get some head bumps and playtime with her. If I have Sam checking in on while I'm away, I don't have any anxiety that Pickles will get lonely or bored and I enjoy my trips better! 100% reccomend her as a pet sitter.”

About: Im a current DVM student looking to take care of your pets! I've always had a passion for animal care and have been working in doggy day cares, dog/cat kennels and vet clinics for the past 4 years. Ive also had all types of animals my entire life including dogs, cats and guinea pigs! I am currently in class until may, so I can work weekends but afterwards I will be able to dedicate all my time to pet care. I sadly cannot keep pets in my apartment, but I have plenty of experience caring for dogs and cats in their own home and can work with a wide range of preferences.
