About: I have been pet sitting since I was a kid, and fostering animals since university! I am now a student at Atlantic Veterinary College and will be graduating in 2029. I have a background in small animal medicine as well as working with animals from shelters. I also worked at a pet supply store for a year. I am a student who has classes from 830-4pm most days with an hour lunch break. I am happy to bring your pets for walks in the morning, over my lunch, or in the evenings after school. If I am pet sitting I will be able to check in on them as well on this schedule. If your pet requires spending time in my home, I have 3 cats who are very friendly and have spent time with both other cats and dogs.

About: Hi! My name is Mya. I’m 25 years old, work full-time for the federal government, and live on my family’s potato farm. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me playing hockey, golfing, hiking, spending time outdoors with friends, or grabbing a coffee! I’ve grown up surrounded by animals and have over 15 years of experience caring for my own cats and dogs, as well as 10 years of pet-sitting experience for families in my community. I work Monday–Friday from 8–4, but am still available for weekday and overnight bookings, provided your pet is comfortable being left alone during my workday. I’m available before and after work and throughout the weekends. If you’re located in Charlottetown, I’m also available for lunchtime drop-in visits during the workweek. When staying in your home, I’ll treat it with care and respect. I’ll make sure everything is left clean and exactly as I found it! I’ll tailor my care to your pet’s individual needs and preferences. While I’m at work, I’ll ensure your pet is left in a safe, secure environment and that there are no hazards they could access. As someone who owns a silly cat who’s always looking for an escape route, I’m especially mindful about doors, windows, and home safety! If you’re comfortable with it, my partner may occasionally join me on a booking to provide your pet with some extra love, attention, and playtime. This is always entirely up to you, and I’ll always respect your preferences and any rules you have regarding access to your home.

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, fish and I have worked on a farm the last 5 years. I understand that you want your pet sitter to feel comfortable around your animals. Big or small animals I am your girl :) I’m currently working full time Monday to Friday 8-4 with most afternoons on weekdays open. My weekends are free for any kind of care needed. I have one playful dog and one cat to keep your animals company. There’s easily spot for a crate in my house if needed. For boarding if your animals like to sleep in the bed, they are also welcome to or in my room on the floor with a bed. I’m pretty flexible with how I can work around attending to your animal. If your animal doesn’t like other dogs I can bring my dog to my dad’s house for the weekend with no issues. The only requirement is the cat has to stay as she’s old and this is the only place she’s ever known.

She checked in on Axl during the day, let him out to pee, played with him, and gave him lots of attention and treats. Knowing she was coming by made the whole day so much less stressful for us. I’m calm, patient, and great with animals that need a little extra emotional care. I’m currently on summer break and have a completely flexible schedule. I’m available most days and evenings for pet care, and I’m using this time to do something I genuinely love. If I wasn’t broke, I’d honestly still do this for the joy it brings me—because spending time with animals is one of the most healing and fulfilling things in my life.
