“Maryann was a life saver for last minute pet sitting. She was accommodating and had great communication regarding my pets. I would absolutely recommend her for any cat parents nervous to leave their fur babies in someone else’s care. Thank you again!”

About: I have take care of dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, fish and I have worked on a farm the last 5 years. I understand that you want your pet sitter to feel comfortable around your animals. Big or small animals I am your girl :) I’m currently a student in school with most afternoons on weekdays open. I’m currently laid off from work so my weekends are entirely free which is when I can host boardings. I have enough time throughout the week between classes to come to your home and attend to your pets as well. I have one playful dog and one cat to keep your animals company. There’s easily spot for a crate in my house if needed. For boarding if your animals like to sleep in the bed, they are also welcome to or in my room on the floor with a bed. I’m pretty flexible with how I can work around attending to your animal. If your animal doesn’t like other dogs I can bring my dog to my dad’s house for the weekend with no issues. The only requirement is the cat has to stay as she’s old and this is the only place she’s ever known.
“Rachel was amazing!! Super attentive and sweet to my two cats, and kept me posted on everything I needed to know and more. Kitties were super happy when I came home after a three week trip. Would gladly book with her again :)”

“Leaving a young puppy is never easy, but Cindy made us feel completely comfortable. She checked in on Axl during the day, let him out to pee, played with him, and gave him lots of attention and treats. Knowing she was coming by made the whole day so much less stressful for us. You can tell she genuinely loves animals, and Axl was so happy and comfortable with her and we will absolutely be booking with her again!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals most of my life and truly understand the love and responsibility that comes with being a pet parent. Growing up, I was the primary caregiver for two family dogs—one required daily eye medication for chronic dry eyes, and the other needed extra support in his senior years while managing lymphoma, including daily medications and weekly vet visits. Now, without pets of my own, I foster regularly with the PEI Humane Society and have spent over a year welcoming multiple batches of kittens into my home for extended care. I’ve also provided in-home pet sitting for friends, making sure their pets felt comfortable and cared for while they were away. Whether it’s playtime, medications, or simply offering comfort and company, I treat every animal as if they were my own! I love and work in downtown Charlottetown. I am available evenings (after 4pm) and weekends for dog walking as well as boarding all days of the week in Charlottetown. I care for pets by following their usual routines, giving them plenty of love, playtime, and comfort. At my home, I have long leashes set up outdoors for safe and easy bathroom breaks, and since I live close to work, I can drop in at lunchtime if needed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and keep everything tidy while making sure pets feel happy and at ease.

About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my lifelong passion for animals and my deep, personal connection with dogs. Growing up, I had two beloved pups who were my constant companions. Being away from them has only deepened my love for pets, inspiring me to channel that affection into caring for others' furry family members. In addition to personal pet care, I bring unique experience from my home country, where I actively cared for street dogs. I provided them with food, offered them shelter, and ensured they felt safe and loved. This hands-on involvement has given me well-rounded expertise in understanding dogs of all temperaments, backgrounds, and needs. Whether it’s showering dogs with love, ensuring their comfort, or managing unique care requirements, my diverse experience makes me uniquely qualified to care for your pet with the same dedication and compassion I’ve always given my own. As part of my service, I also offer dog walking, ensuring pets get the exercise and stimulation they need to stay happy and healthy. I make every walk enjoyable, safe, and tailored to the dog’s energy level and preferences. My goal is to provide attentive, reliable, and loving care while keeping pets relaxed and content in their own space.
