About: I’ve always loved animals. I had two dogs growing up and although I am far from home, my parents still have one dog. I used to walk dogs around my neighborhood and always made sure they had everything they needed to be healthy and happy. I am currently studying so I have plenty of time and I am happy to take a break from school work to meet your puppy. I am available every day except Wednesday night and Thursday afternoon. I will make sure to strictly follow your instructions so your dog can be safe and happy. It is always important to insure the well being of the animal as well so I will look for any sign discomfort so your puppy can stay healthy.
About: My family has always had, for lack of better word, a literal PACK of dogs- no less than 3 dogs at any point in my life. German shepherds, golden retrievers, chihuahuas, shelter mixes, Bernese mountains, dachshunds, labs- I've owned them all. Not to mention all the other dogs I've interacted with through life on the farm (for some reason, the horse people of Massachusetts love picking up shelter dogs from Florida). I've volunteered at dog shelters (and gotten ridiculously attached to each and every dog there), as well as done externships at small animal clinics. With all my experience growing up with dogs, my experience at small animals clinics, and my current path heading into veterinary medicine I think it's safe to say I know how to handle animals of any breed and any temperament very well. At the heart of it all, I'm really just an animal lover who would love to take on any petsitting opportunity to get a little pet-time while away at college! Currently I'm at UPEI and my days are always the same two activities: classes, and studying. I go to volunteer at a small animal clinic twice a week, and aside from that and the classes I have scattered throughout weekdays I am totally free to fit some pet care into my schedule! I could care for a pet in a clients home however the instruct! I believe the pet parent obviously would know best, and would follow whatever instructions are left to ensure that the pet can get the best care I'm capable of giving. I love going on walks and going to explore the island so if the owner is ok with it I'd love to go on adventures with their pet! I'm also totally fine to stick with routine short walks or quick in and out check ins! Willing to do whatever is best for the pet :)
“Kat & David are very thoughtful and accommodating people. I had a last minute booking with them and they made it very easy for me to leave our Rottweiller in their loving care. Thanks again!”

“This is the third time Julie has looked after our pets. We are very happy with the care she provided and the house was left very clean and tidy. Julie kept us informed of any issues and updated with how our pets were doing regularly. It is such a comfort having Julie there while we are away!”

“From our advance meeting, Isabelle showed how her love of animals would ensure good care for my GSD. He connected instantly with her and boosted that feeling of comfort for me. She provided photos daily as well as video, which assured me that he was being well treated.”

“Sepehr was a great dog sitter for Thor. He sent lots of pictures and updates. He kept Thor active and engaged. With permission, he even took Thor on some hikes a great experience overall. :)”

About: I have three years of professional experience with pet sitting in people’s homes, dog walking and working at an animal shelter in Vancouver, BC called the BCSPCA. Dog behavioural assessments and reading canine body language are some of the skills that I bring to the table. I am comfortable working with canine reactive dogs. I am currently unemployed so am currently completely free for pet sitting and dog walking. I am planning on continuing pet sitting once I am employed as that is what I did in Vancouver - working full time at the BCSPCA and also working for a pet sitting company that specialized in reactive dogs. I feel dogs do best if they are cared for in an environment that is familiar to them. I am very adaptable, clean and more than happy to maintain gardens and house plants.

We had a great experience with Vibhu! He did house sitting for us for a week. Our 11 month old golden retriever is quite anxious with new people but Vibhu was patient and took his time with our pup. He was flexible when we had a slight schedule change. We received regular updates and pictures throughout the week and the house was left in great shape upon our return.

Jessa is an amazing dog sitter. She took excellent care of our chocolate lab Hershey. She gave lots of updates and pictures while we were away. Hershey always looked so happy when she was with Jessa. She also took great care of our house. Thank you Jessa for taking such great care of Hershey!
