“Jennifer looked after my 3 cats and hamster for drop in visits while I was out of town. She was easily accessible by messaging and went the extra mile (cleaning up hairballs!). Very flexible and lovely! Thanks Jennifer!”

About: Hi! I come from a family of true animal lovers — we’ve always had a house full of dogs and cats of all sizes and personalities. My mom loved to rescue animals, so I grew up caring for everything from mastiffs to dachshunds, huskies, German shepherds, and even farm cats. Nothing fazes me — I truly love and care for them all like family. I’m also fluent in French, so feel free to reach out in either language! I currently work at a camp from 7 AM to 4 PM on weekdays, but I’m always happy to fit in walks before or after work—and I’m fully available on weekends! After August 11th, I’ll be on break and completely available until school starts in September (and I’ll still make time then too!). While I don’t have a fenced yard, I always supervise pets during outdoor time and make sure they get plenty of safe play and attention. I care for every pet as if they were my own, following their routine and any special instructions closely. Whether your dog is energetic or prefers a slower pace, I’ll adapt to their needs and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved.

About: I love taking care of fur babies! I have owned cats and dogs since I was a child and you can rely on me to care for them. I am currently off for the summer and have plenty of time to care for your fur babies while your relax and enjoy your vacation. I will care for the environment in which your pet is in. I will check on your fur babies and their beds, food and water to keep them happy and safe!

About: ROVER is my favourite way to enjoy pets and new areas. I work as an education assistant. I work short days on a casual basis. I am able to take weekdays within Ottawa if your pets can be left alone during the day. Weekends, holidays and summers I can go anywhere for my Rover clients. I am currently also in business for myself as a BreathWork & Transformation coach, and have workshops both online and in person. I am certified as a Spiritual coach, Meditation coach, and Manifestation coach. I have both a SSW and Business Management Diploma. I believe in continuous learning. Since I was born, I have always had a pet in my life. The dogs I have loved included a German Shepherd, a Shepherd mix, a Husky mix, a Shih Tzu, a Rottweiler /Boxer mix and a Boxer /French Pin mix. The cats in my life included a Calico mix, a Tiger mix, and a Manx. As my life goals are coming to fruition, I know that this is not the right time for me to personally home, love, and care for an animal of my own. My children are all grown, and I am currently more interested in traveling, whether in my own backyard or halfway around the world, I want to see all that I can!! I LOVE to have new adventures, I am simply here to provide the love I have for my own pets to your precious furry family member while enjoying your city, town or neighbourhood. My home is currently in Ottawa, and as I have been recently hired as an education, assistant, I am able to take Rover clients on weekdays within the Ottawa area. Some weekdays, I may be away between 5 to 7 hours. On weekends, holidays and summers, I am able to travel further for my Rover clients. Much of my family lives in Cornwall, so I love the opportunity to take clients there. I am also willing to drive to Montreal, Pembroke/Petawawa, Kingston, Toronto or Niagara Falls areas for 1 week or longer. I am able to take your dogs out for short walks, weather permitting, while they are in my care for house sitting. As I don’t drink, smoke cigarettes, or use drugs, that will never be happening in your home. I am high on life and I have great energy that animals can feel. Most timid or shy dogs warm up to me faster than you would except. My reviews showcase the results. I have a clear criminal record as well as a clear vulnerable police record.

About: I am currently a veterinary technologist student at St Lawrence College. I have successfully completed my first year and will be moving onto my second year in September. During this school year, I was able to learn proper animal restraints, ear cleaning, administration of eye medications, administrations of oral medications, nail trimming, conducting physical examinations and much more on both dogs and cats. I also have experience owning a sick dog. My dog fell ill at the end of April in 2024, she spent 2 weeks in the ICU on oxygen and suffered a blood clot. During this time I was able to experience what it was like owning a sick dog, and how to manage her condition. Her condition became manageable and she’s on lots of medications to help control her arteries. I have learned how to help her, how to keep her calm during recovery and stay on top of medications and the proper time for medications. When I was younger, in grade 8 to 9, I had the opportunity to do shadow days with my veterinarian at the Orleans Veterinary Hospital. During this time, I got to scrub in on surgeries, watch lab tests being performed with the vet techs in the back, and really understand how a veterinary clinic operates. This was when I fell in love with veterinary medicine and truly wanted to make a difference in animals' lives for good :). The services I offer are petting-sitting by house visits to your house (either overnight or drop-ins, for both dogs and cats), dog walking, and I can do nail trims for an extra charge! I work a part time job, working mainly evenings, I unfortunately would like to avoid taking time off for this, and would need to work during my stay at your place, please keep this in mind when contacting me :) ***I WILL NO LONGER BE PROVIDING SERVICES IN THE AREA BEGINNING AUG 28th AS I MOVE BACK TO SCHOOL*** Owning pets, pet care is always a part of my daily routine. I have 2 cats (Jasper and Yoda), a dog (Sadie), and a fish (EMS). Having cats, I am always providing love to them and giving them enrichment toys (like catnip toys), making sure their food and water bowls are constantly full, and doing the litter to make sure they have a clean spot. My dog loves walks and she requires oral medications 3 times a day. Caring for her, I take her for walks, and administer her medication when needed. My fish requires food twice a day and a cleaned tank every week. He lives in a 5 gallon tank and is almost 2 years old, I like to think he’s a thriving fish! My services include home visits to your house (either overnight or drop-ins). Because of my own pets, I will refrain from taking your pet to my house. I am a very clean and organized person and I would ensure that I would treat your house and space the same as I would my own. I strive to give both your pet and your place the best care I can possibly provide.
