About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs of all sizes. I’ve had pets of my own growing up and am currently navigating the exciting (and sometimes challenging!) world of puppy training with my newest furry family member. Family members regularly trusts me to care for their pets, often watching multiple dogs at once. I know how important it is to have a reliable, loving caregiver for your pets, and I’d be happy to provide them with the same care and attention I give my own! During the week, I work full-time with flexible hours, which allows me to fit pet care into my daily routine. I always make time to care for pets around my schedule, ensuring they get the attention and exercise they need. On weekends, I’m completely free and available for pet sitting, walks, or drop-in visits. Plus, come summer, my schedule opens up even more, giving me the flexibility to provide full-time care. About: I have thirty-plus years experience as a pet owner. I have always cared for my dogs with the greatest compassion, having raised Great Danes, a Chihuahua, various Hounds and many more. I have raised most of my dogs from puppies and have taken great care and compassion in their final days. I am very gentle and compassionate with our furry friends, having great love for them. And every time I meet a new fur-angel, they immediately sense that I am a friend. Some people describe me as a dog-whisperer. I want to open my home to people who need an alternative to helping their beloved dog feel loved and stimulated throughout the day, as opposed to sitting at home alone. I love dogs, I love being around dogs all day. I have a passion for looking after these gentle, wondrerul creatures, and it's my intention to devote a large portion of my life to helping them. My services are open 24/7. I am open to emergency calls/boardings. My schedule here at 'Fiona and Friends' is 7 days a week, 24/7. I am fully dedicated to the care of your pet. Any breaks in this schedule will be posted far in advance. I have a fenced, secure, back yard. I have a large crate available, if required for your pet, as well as an enclosed sitting room if your beloved pet needs space. As well, Fiona, our gentle and friendly Whippet Hound, will help keep your fur baby entertained all day long. Fiona loves company! We have doggy floor beds, and two couches to stretch out on (or cuddle up). And of course, I take the utmost care when walking around the south end of Gananoque. I will also provide you a link to a short Youtube video that showcases the house, backyard, and walking environment. This will be made available to you upon enquiry or booking.

I have a big truck so I can transport dogs/pets easily to take them out for lots of runs, walks, playing fetch etc. I’m experienced with aggressive dogs, law enforcement service dogs, dog training, dog walking, and safety management. I had a Siberian Husky named Bosko, until he passed away in April 2024. He was almost 11 years old, full of energy, yet very, very well behaved, trained and mannered. Bosko was not aggressive, but he did growl and tried to act tough around other male dogs. He was subjected to dozens of dogs in our house over the years of dog sitting on Rover and he never hurt, nor attacked another dog. If you look through our profile, you will see Bosko pictured with dozens of other dogs in our home. Bosko loved to play with smaller dogs and was very kind and gentle with them, even if they knipped at him, or bit at him. Your dog will have a great time with all of us here and we look forward to meeting you and your dog. I work from home and enjoy the company and responsibility of caring for other animals. I am able to provide consistent round the clock supervision and attention to my clients' animals. All dogs will be walked one or two times daily and have space to roam, run, play and enjoy themselves in a safe, supervised environment.

About: I have taken care of dogs most of my life. I have often had more than 1 at a time and can’t imagine life without a fur baby. There truly is nothing like doggie love 💜. Friends and family know they can depend on me to care for their pets as if they were my own. Dogs seem to instinctively know that I am a sucker for a fur face. I am truly excited to have made a career change that will allow me to embrace my passion for pets. I work part time ( mostly from home). I am flexible as I schedule my own hours and can work around any special requirements you may have. I live in a rural area with a large yard. I usually go out walking with my dogs for an hour in the morning and a half hour in the afternoon. I do have some long leads by the door for quick potty breaks.
