About: Hi there! I' m Edith. I’m a passionate dog lover with over 17 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages. I grew up with dogs, and my first was a toy poodle named Choco. Two years ago, I adopted a rescue dog, a Shepherd-Mastiff mix, who I’ve been caring for since he was 9 weeks old. He’s now 2 years old and a gentle giant! I’ve also cared for friends' pets, including puppies and senior dogs, and I’m experienced with different needs, from young pups to older dogs. I provide regular updates and photos to keep you connected with your pet. My training approach focuses on positive reinforcement and patience. I look forward to meeting your dog and giving them the best care while you’re away! I work part-time, giving me the flexibility to offer dog walking and drop-in visits during the day, typically between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., to fit your schedule. If you need a different time, just shoot me a message and we can figure it out! When caring for pets in your home, I focus on maintaining their routine and ensuring they feel safe and comfortable. I follow your pet's established schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and bathroom breaks to minimize any stress.

“It was happy first day care visit! He went on two day care visits and was so excited to see Nerissa the next day. It made me feel good knowing he was comfortable and happy to be with her. She also kept me updated on happy all the time. Let me tell you he was happy :)”

“Basil had a great day with Thor and Melanie today He is excited to visit again next week !”

About: I have in-total 5 Yorkshire Terriers back in my country since I was 7 years old. (I grew up with them and slept with them). I took care of them (bath, groom, feed, medication administration, walk, play) I was the handler when they went to dog show, I trained them by myself since they were a puppy. I have experience in grooming (advanced for Yorkshire terrier), walking the dog (small and medium dog particularly), training (basic commands), and taking care of senior or sick dogs, Since I moved to Canada, I have been taking care of my friends' dogs and cats whenever they need a sitter. In addition to my experience with dogs, I have experience caring for kittens, cats and senior cats. My passion for animals has led me to volunteer for pet-related jobs. I volunteered at WHS to take care of the cats there. If there had been a position for caring for dogs, I would have taken it in a heartbeat since I have more experience with dogs. However, there were no available positions so it was unfortunate but the opportunity helped me to showcase my skills in interacting with cats. It is very easy for me to get along with animals whether it be dogs or cats, I love to interact with all of them. I'm currently available most days of the week after 11 am, however, I would love to work out a schedule that works the best for you and your dogs! My home have a fenced small yard and unfenced big yard. The small yard is big enough for small-medium dogs to run around. I will let the owner to choose what is best for their dogs.

About: Between my husband and I we have over 10 years of pet experience. Between growing up with animals and more recently fostering dogs, in addition to dog sitting for some friends we've had a wide variety of dogs in the house. I work part time which allows me the flexibility to spend lots of time with the dogs. I'm a morning person and enjoy getting up early to go for walks, and now that it's nice out I'm likely to be outside most of the day! We have a big fenced yard which is great for the dogs to run around and play. We also live in a quiet little town which is perfect for taking the dogs for walks with minimal distractions

“Lorna was so fantastic! She has such a good energy for pets. Kolsch had such a great day with Lorna and her daughter and she shared lots of great pictures/updates throughout the day. I would definitely recommend Lorna :)”

About: I have fostered several rescue dogs. I have also owned 3 dogs over my life. I currently have a beautiful playful friendly 70lb female dog.. We walk daily - about 2 hours or more every day. We love going to the dog park, and go almost daily. My house is small and dog friendly. My yard is fairly big. I am retired and have time to care for my dog and others. I live alone with my girl, and when I’m not fostering a rescue, I am happy to care for another dog. I have a fenced yard to keep your dog safe and a female dog to keep your dog active. I also go for long walks a few times a day.

About: Caring patient pet lover with life long history of living with and caring for dogs. Experience with cats as well. Have studied and worked in behavior therapy field in past (not offering as a service now, but am knowledgeable of techniques). Have a loving and playful boston terrier cross at home that loves company and snuggles. Slow, guided introductions are important for both myself and my pup- safety, security and fun is key! Crate training (or at least familiarity with ex-pen gating) is important for overnight stays as I may have to step out for short periods and dont feel comfortable leaving unbonded dogs alone together without supervision! I run a small business from my home and set my own works hours so I am extremely flexible. Open and honest communication is very important to me! Please note that while in Manitoba there are 2 other small dogs (under 10lb) in the house as well as Zilla! I work for myself, from home so I have no predetermined schedule that requires me to leave the house - I can be very flexible We have 2 different fenced areas behind the house - one small with doggy door, the other full yard size. Plus we have unfenced acreage beyond that which our dogs are invisible fence trained on, is good for leashed exercise for untrained dogs
