Being a home body makes for great pet sitting. I live in a pet friendly condo that I own. My home consists of one small, elderly female dog and one young cat. I have many tropical plants; only pets who know boundaries with plants can be accommodated. There is no smoking or drinking here, as I like to maintain a quiet home. We have no children or frequent visitors. Pets are fed twice daily or as needed, and walked 3-4x per day based on needs. Bike rides offered for high energy dogs. I live close to a leash/ off leash dog park. I can offer basic grooming, training, and exercise as needed. I’m proficient with administering medication.

About: Between my husband and I we have over 10 years of pet experience. Between growing up with animals and more recently fostering dogs, in addition to dog sitting for some friends we've had a wide variety of dogs in the house. I work part time which allows me the flexibility to spend lots of time with the dogs. I'm a morning person and enjoy getting up early to go for walks, and now that it's nice out I'm likely to be outside most of the day! We have a big fenced yard which is great for the dogs to run around and play. We also live in a quiet little town which is perfect for taking the dogs for walks with minimal distractions

Stacey replied super quickly and gave such a great first impression that we immediately felt comfortable sending our pup to her for three nights. You can tell right away how much she loves dogs and how experienced she is. She connected with Juniper instantly and treated her like her own. Stacey sent tons of photos and videos, so I got to see the adventures Juniper was having on her huge, fenced property and hanging out with a couple of new pup friends. I can’t compare her to other boarding places since this was our first time, but honestly, I feel like what she offers is truly wonderful. If you’re looking for a safe place where your dog will get to spend lots of time outdoors being active and then have a cozy dog bed to sleep on to recharge- then look no further. “Lise took the best care of our girl Lucy! I can't recommend her enough. She sent me frequent updates which was amazing. She took Lucy for very long walks and let her cuddle on the couch all the time. Lucy was treated the same way she would be treated at home which we LOVE. Before we dropped Lucy off, Lise suggested we take her dog Hamilton and Lucy on a walk together to ensure that they have a slow introduction and to make sure they get along. This worked out perfectly and the girls got along great! We will definitely book with Lise again when we go on our next trip! Thank you Lise and Hamilton!!”

About: I have always had dogs. I grew up around many different kind of dogs both large and small in my family home. I couldn’t imagine being without a pet. I have owned cats and eight years ago I got a dog of my own. He is the light of my life. George Michael is a mini golden doodle and a very friendly guy. He loves making new friends. Two years ago Clementine joined our family and she’s a quirky little princess that brings so much laughter to the household! I’ve been walking, feeding, bathing, and otherwise caring for dogs for as long as I can remember. I can’t wait to meet new furry friends! I’m a Masters student completing a degree in Social Work. I do have classes on campus but I’m home a lot doing studying and assignments and hanging out with my two little fur babies! We live in a neighbourhood that’s great for walking and there are parks all around the house. It’s a great neighbourhood for pet owners and hosting pets! I have space to crate your dog if necessary. I have a big bathtub where I bathe George and can bathe other dogs. I love playing with dogs and I have plenty of toys in the apartment to play with both inside and outside.

“We left our pup for 10 days with Melanie. It was our first time leaving the dog with someone we didn't know & we were worried. It was a difficult decision but we were glad we chose her. Our dog Ash & her dog Thor got along so well. They were having fun & playing the whole time. Melanie would send pictures & videos a few times a day. She followed all the instructions we gave her about Ash's diet. We couldn't be happier with her. We will for sure be using her services again- if we need a sitter in future.”
