She would cook every day meals for our fussy eater and send us numerous updates on their day. Whenever we need care for our baby we always make sure Dorotea is available! “It was our first time using Rover, and Arleene was an amazing host to our little man, Max. She was very knowledgeable, reliable, understanding, a great communicator, and a clear animal lover. From the start, she was incredibly flexible and understanding with pickup and drop-off times. We had initially booked for 8 days, but our return flight was cancelled and we had to extend Max’s stay by one more day. Arleene was thankfully available and accepted our last-minute request, which helped us tremendously—we didn’t have to worry about our fur baby during an already stressful time. Arleene provided detailed daily updates, including Max’s feeding and water intake, litter usage, and general behaviour. She was very attentive to his needs and helped him adjust as smoothly as possible and at his own pace. For example, she noticed that Max was easily scared by noises in the living room, so she prepared a smaller, quieter room where he could hide if needed. In addition to the updates, she sent multiple pictures and videos—even within an hour of dropping him off—which really reassured us that he was in excellent hands. Arleene followed all of Max’s care instructions, and although he is very skittish, he became comfortable with her in just a day or so. That alone shows how warm and attentive her care truly is. Arleene cared for Max as if he were her own, and we would 100% book her again for our next vacation. We highly recommend her to all pawrents who want excellent care for their fur babies! 😊”

About: I've trained dogs in multiple disciplines from the age of 14 on, lived with them for 19 years and I have now gained 6 years additional experience in the sport of dog sledding, I have 17 dogs of my own (your animal will not be with the pack unless permissionis given) and I have handled multiple hundred dogs in my life already :) Dogs are my passion and I love and care for them to my best ability, providing them with the best nutrition, balanced stimulation (mental and physical exercise) and the natural amount of recoup and rest time as well as top notch medical care and a lot of hugs and kisses :) I work from home and I have a very flexible schedule. My current pets and I go for 2 walks a day, before and after my tasks and multiple pee breaks in between. While your dog is here, their safety and well-being is my number one priority! Unless you specifically allow me to give the dog off-leash dog park time, all dogs will be leashed outside at all times for walks. Loose inside the house. They will have access to water 24/7 and I will feed them as often as they are used to it. The animal will always be supervised and I can attend to all needs with expertise.

About: i know what to feed the dog , if the dog is happy or afraid of something , i can train him. i treat dogs like my own babies , most importantly i miss my own dog so much so taking care of other people dogs gonna make me happy . I can play run make the dog exercise. take care of his dewormings and diet. we can be forever buddies :D , i would never get irritated by the dog's behaviour or mistreat the dog which is a nightmare for me too. I have two black lab crossed dogs and two cats that I love with all my heart, even though I only get to see them on my visits back to my home town. I also have a bengal cat of my own that I love very much despite her sassy attitude. Family gatherings don’t feel complete until there are half as many pets as there are people. Volunteering at the Pembina Valley Humane Society for two years in high school gave me lots of experience and enough responsibility to see what all goes into caring for the dogs and cats/kittens who were ready for adoption, as well as the confidence to deal with the excitable ones. Crate training (or at least familiarity with ex-pen gating) is important for overnight stays as I may have to step out for short periods and dont feel comfortable leaving unbonded dogs alone together without supervision! I work for myself, from home so I have no predetermined schedule that requires me to leave the house - I can be very flexible We have 2 different fenced areas behind the house - one small with doggy door, the other full yard size. My current pets and I go for 2 walks a day, before and after my tasks and multiple pee breaks in between. While your dog is here, their safety and well-being is my number one priority! Unless you specifically allow me to give the dog off-leash dog park time, all dogs will be leashed outside at all times for walks. Loose inside the house. They will have access to water 24/7 and I will feed them as often as they are used to it. The animal will always be supervised and I can attend to all needs with expertise.

About: Between my husband and I we have over 10 years of pet experience. Between growing up with animals and more recently fostering dogs, in addition to dog sitting for some friends we've had a wide variety of dogs in the house. I work part time which allows me the flexibility to spend lots of time with the dogs. About: I have had dogs all my life, I currently own a mischievous pug! I have experience with dogs of most sizes, including owning an Appenzeller, and Shephard crosses. I have, in the past, participated in puppy and dog training classes with my own dogs as well.
