“So I was a total wreck about leaving my dog for her first stay on Rover. I paced. I worried. I probably sent 10 "is she okay?" texts within five minutes of dropping off. Turns out, all that extra anxiety was a colossal waste of time. My worry immidetly evaporated after the first update Shannia sent. You cannot hide experience. Shannia and her family are so obviously knowledgeable about canine behavior. They weild a level of calm, confident know-how that only comes from years of wrangling everything from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. The photos! Just like the other reviews say, only more, my dog's headshots look like they belong on the cover of Vanity Fair... not my fridge. They're so ridiculously good, they're literally better than any professional photographer I've ever used. I am beyond satisfied with this experience. I will definitely be back. In fact, If I ever need to re-home my dog (which, after this, she might prefer), Shannia's family gets first dibs. She's clearly found her true calling there”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 11 and I am now 31 years old now. I was the sole care taker for our family dog in charge of bathing,walking, feeding and playing with him every chance I got. I love all types of dogs. Whenever I see someone with a dog I always have to go over and say hi and pet there dog! My wife and I have a shitzu and I am in charge of her every need while my wife works. Every moment I spend with dogs is my favorite! My wife works from home and I take care of the house so I am always home taking care of our big yard and our fur baby. My schedule is very flexible. I know that your dog is more than a pet that they are like family and should be treated as such. I play with the dogs. Always make sure that they are fed and have water as well as go outside and play fetch on the 5 acres of land with them. I enjoy giving them belly rubs and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I know that visiting a strangers house may be scary for your dogs the first time they come over. That's why I make sure to meet there needs so that they are full and comfortable and will feel happy with us.

Brad has a large yard for the dogs to run and play in, and they are all welcome in the house. About: I grew up with horses, cats and dogs and that brought on my love of animals. I worked in a small animal vet clinic for 12 years as a tech until I had my kids and became a SAHM 4 years so I have a lot of experience caring for animals. The benefit of having worked as a tech for so long is I’m very well trained in dog behavior, medical treatment, and giving pets extra loves when they’re feeling nervous. We have our own doodle who is a spayed female and she loves other dogs, even the grouchy ones. I have two kids, a 4 1/2 year old and a 7 1/2 year old who both were taught from a young age how to properly treat animals so they’re both very respectful of space and gentle. I am currently a stay at home mom so I am at the house most of the day, aside from running kids to activities, to take care of your pet. The living space in our home is one floor so there aren’t stairs for senior pets to have to climb. We also have a fenced backyard for them to play and potty without getting out.

About: We know how hard it is to find good, reliable pet care, and would be happy to help you out! We have had one family dog, an Irish Wolfhound, and my husband grew up with several dogs. Our sweet, 160 lb. puppy passed away earlier this year and now our kids are puppy hungry. We have a fully fenced yard and have kids who would be happy to cuddle your puppy. We let our kids (10, 16, and 19) do some of the caretaking - feeding, brushing, cuddling - to earn money. Our children love animals and are very comfortable and competent with dogs of all sizes. My husband and I are always available to supervise and help with walks or anything else. I’m a stay at home mom and will be home most of the day when we are dog-sitting. My day is open to caring for your pets - walking, feeding, letting them outside, etc. We have a fully fenced property for dogs to freely explore. If you have a dog who struggles with stairs our garage, family room, and back door are level with the backyard. We don’t have any pets currently, so we have lots of love and attention to give to your puppy!

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life. I also used to run a small rescue in the state of Utah. I am acquainted with all dogs in any shape or size. I have experience with dogs with disabilities. I am currently not working so I am free pretty much all of the time. I currently have a zoo of dogs and cats that are friendly to humans and other animals! I have a fenced in yard and other non-aggressive animals. I am home all day so your pets will rarely be left alone in the house.

About: I've had lots of experience caring for dogs, helping with training and breeding dogs in the past. And now I frequently pet-sit for all our friends! I currently work at home, and my kids are homeschooled, so many helping hands to take care of and love your puppy dogs to their hearts content! I have a big fenced-in yard, plenty of room for your doggos to get their wiggles out :) I've also got a sweetheart of a dog, and she'll be their playmate till the end of time!

About: I live in Rigby with my husband and our 2 dogs and 3 cats. Our coonhound is old and loves to sleep. Although he can be protective of his food. Our yellow lab puppy is crate trained and potty trained but still crazy. Bother are very sweet though. Our cats keep to themselves and run away if bothered. No need to worry about them. I would love to welcome your furry friend into our home when you need a little break. Or I can walk them while you’re at work! Let me know what you’re needs are and I will do my best to meet them. I am an RN but right now not employed anywhere. I have a lot of availability. If my schedule changes I will let you know. But right now I am available mostly everyday Sun-Sat I have a semi fenced yard and the road has minimal traffic. We have 3 large water bowls in our backyard as well as two inside to keep our friends hydrated. We have tent that pets can go under for shade due to us having minimal tree coverage. I have a 20ft tether for pets who cannot respond to recall.
