Doggy Day Care in Burnside

About: Responsible pet sitter with over 20 years experience. My husband 3 children and I run a small homestead. We have our family dog Penny and we raise holland lop bunnies. I have experience with small and large livestock. And have Volunteered time fostering dogs for PAWS in state college. I have experience with and assisting the delivery of animals, administering medications, following specific feeding schedules, and providing companionship and exercise. I’m a stay at home mom with 3 children. We do go to church on Sunday's. We would be gone Sunday's for about 3 hours in total. Unless it’s soccer season we are home! We have a fenced in front yard and our back yard leads into the woods. We spend a majority of our summer days outside. We live in a 2 story home, pets will be on the main floor in our home. Our stairs have gates for the bottom and top. Our animals are welcome on the couch but if this is a no no for you we will respect that. Our dog Penny is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night.

I work from home as a pet groomer/ sitter and operate a horse boarding barn. Take care of animals in my care 7 days a week all year round. I have a fenced in yard and dog friendly companions. Offer separate dog sleeping and eating accommodations. Able to give medications if necessary. Transportation also available.

About: I have cared for many different types of animals since I was a child. Dogs, cats, bunnies, rats and hamsters. Fostered and lived with many dogs. I currently have dogs and cats. They are the joy of my life especially since the kids (and grand dogs) have grown and moved. Couldn’t imagine life without them. I have two dogs and 2 cats to keep the fur guests company. Lots of play time in the fenced back yard. And snuggles on the couch.

About: A deep love for dogs of all ages and breeds. I can accommodate any thing you need or want. I can help with any training your working on and or medications. I will walk them and give them all my time, love, and attention. I can watch your pet anytime. I am home 24 hours a day. This is my only job. I can accommodate to anyone's schedule time. I am home 24 hours a day and only have one cat that is good with other animals. I have a yard that I can tie them out and a big field where I can walk them.

About: I’ve watched multiple of my family members dogs, ranging from big to little dogs. I enjoy spending time with animals and learning more about them. I also enjoy walking dogs around the neighborhood or to the park. I’m currently taking care of my grandma so I don’t really have a set schedule. So I’m always willing to help out. I have a dachshund and she is very nice towards animals and people so if I were to house sit she would also be very welcoming.

About: I have had dogs and cats ever since I was 4. However, at age 12 I got my first dog just for me. I took it very serious and have loved taking care of dogs and cats ever since. I have raised a few dogs and cats of my own since they were young, some since actual birth. I have also taken care of a family dog whom was blind and deaf due to being very old. I currently can’t welcome pets into my own home, but I love caring for dogs so I wanted to still find a way to care for them! On days like now when it’s cold and everyone is busy, I have no issue walking your dog and ensuring they still get the outside experience without you worrying about their safety. I am big on giving regular updates and treating every pet as if they are my own. I’m a part time college student! Pretty much free with all online classes. I occasionally go to the gym but besides that, I’m always home. Think of it like if I’m babysitting someone’s child. It pretty much is for many dog owners, I would know as my dog Nya was very much my daughter lol. But it’s very important that I ask all the necessary questions so I can care for your pet the same way you would. If you give them treated only during certain behavior than I will too. If you only walk them in certain areas then I will too. It’s important to not only make every pet feel safe and comfortable, but to create an experience that doesn’t feel to far from home. That way not only does the pet feel happy, but once they are back to their owner it feels like they never left.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life. Thankfully, growing up we had multiple dogs and cats which allowed me to experience the love a pet can bring. I couldn’t imagine a life without having pets. With experience pet sitting before, I know that each home comes with different routines and scenarios. I’ve had to train plenty of puppies, given medicine to elderly pets, and always enjoy building a relationship with a furry friend! I currently work full-time from home as a Content Manager. I have a moderately flexible schedule if need be, but for the most part, I’m looking for some long- term options so I can build a working relationship with the pet and owner. However, whenever my schedule allows I’m always open to pick up an overnight here and there! I treat each pet that enters my home as I treat my own! Pets are family, they deserve to be treated as such! Comfort is key in keeping my pet and other pets happy in the home.

About: I’ve had dogs of my own since I was 12 and have house sit/walked/let out my friends and families dogs for years. I love taking care of them like they are my own as I don’t have any pets living with me now. I don’t work all summer long. I travel most weekends but am available during the week all day. I am off of work until August 1 and then my schedule doesn’t allow for much flexibility. I live in an apartment complex that is very dog friendly. There is plenty of room for dogs to use the bathroom and go for walks on the leash. I allow pets on my furniture but if that’s not what you do in your household I will implement the same rules you use. No matter how friendly your dog is, I won’t allow other dogs to approach since I don’t know many of the dogs in my complex. I do not hit dogs as a reprimand at any time so please tell me what methods you’re comfortable with me using instead if needed. Honestly, if there’s anything specific you can feel free to ask for it or question me if you need!

About: There wasn’t a time a golden retriever wasn’t apart of my family. Through a lifetime of love I’ve learned the secret language of our canine/feline companions. I have had experience caring for elderly dogs in their most vulnerable moments, I’ve dealt with the chaos of training two energetic puppies at once, and everything in between. My pet care experienced does not stop at dogs and cats, I have personal experience with rodents, rabbits, fish, bearded dragons you name it. I work part time so I have a pretty open schedule and lots of flexibility to best accommodate any clients needs. I am available all day Monday and Tuesday, and after 2 pm Wednesday-Sunday I believe that animals deserve the same respect and care as humans, if not more. With my services, you can expect meticulous attention to your pet’s needs, including preparing and serving meals according to their specific dietary requirements and schedules. To keep your pet stimulated and happy, I will engage them in physical activities and playtime tailored to their individual energy levels. Additionally I can perform light household tasks related to pet care, such as cleaning litter boxes and maintaining feeding areas. Basic grooming, including brushing and bathing as needed, is also part of my commitment to ensuring your pet’s well-being.
