“Jessica was great! It was our first time using the site or getting a dog walker and she came to meet us and our dog earlier to put our mind at ease! She was super friendly and walked our dog right when we asked her to!”

About: Hi there! I’m Nicole — a young mom, grad student (finishing my degree this December 🎓), and full-time teacher with a lifelong love for animals. I’ve had dogs my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them! As an active, outdoorsy person, I’m happiest when I’m walking, hiking, or playing fetch — and I’d love to share that energy with your furry friend. Whether your pup needs a brisk walk, a snuggle session, or just some extra attention while you’re away, I’ll treat them like part of my own family. Reliable, caring, and experienced, I’d be honored to be your pet’s caregiver! 🐾 I am currently attending school full time and working full time so I turned to Rover which allows me to work part time and work on my free time I can do check ins, overnight care, or even date night care! As an active young and personable person, I will make sure your pets are well taken care of!

About: With 3+ years of professional experience working with animals, as well as 26 years of being surrounded by hundreds of pets of my own, my goal is to create the best, most memorable time for your animal friends. I treat every animal as if it's one of my own. From dogs to cats, rodents to reptiles, ducks to goats, and from newborn to senior, sick or in good health, I have cared for and nurtured just about any domesticated animal throughout all stages of life and am here to make sure that, no matter what, each and every animal is as happy as can be, because they deserve it. Four years ago, I lost my dog, Sugar, who I had since I was nine years old. We grew up together, and she meant everything to me. I've been trying to figure out how to fill that void ever since she left, but it's been tough man. Then I came across Rover. Now, I get to spend time with everyone else's dogs, and I see Sugar in every single one of them, which makes me want to give them the time of their lives. I appreciate everyone letting me watch after their pets. Most people do this for money; I do it, genuinely, because I love animals. Not just dogs, not just cats, but everything else in between. I've worked on farms and at pet stores, volunteered at animal shelters, fostered cats and rabbits, and even bred rodents for years - not to sell, but rather, just to care for and love. So this definitely is not limited to just canine and feline friends. I will care for any kind of animal. I have experience with them all. I work as a supervisor on 3rd shift right across the street from my house at a pet food manufacturing plant, making it super easy to take great care of your pet even throughout the night. I am home all day from 8am until 10pm, so there is really not much time ever where I won't be able to give your pet the care that it needs! I have a fenced yard with lots of room for your dog to run outside freely and plenty of room inside as well for a dog or cat or any other animal to roam about and go wherever their little heart desires. I have a young indoor cat who is very friendly and playful, a senior cat who stays in hiding, as well as two pet ducks that roam the yard who love friends. They have an enclosure of their own to lock them in if you are unsure of how your pet may react to ducks.

“Mary kate is a great person to take care of your pets. I have used her twice now, once over last weekend she let my Katrina out to play and potty, and then Friday she took her on a long walk. I highly recommend Mary Kate to care for your pets.”

About: I helped care for family dogs and cats since I was about five years old, feeding, giving water, walking and cleaning up after them until I was 18. I have boarded two dogs for a friend and provided drop-in visits for a former neighbor for about a year after that and worked at a pet hotel from '17-'19 in which time I got a dog training certification. I have some experience taking care of mice and hamsters and would like to learn how to care for rats and snakes. I'm currently looking for part-time work and would be more than happy to provide the love and care that your fur babies require in your absence. I'm also a newer driver and could really use the experience. Afternoons and evenings work best but please don't be shy about asking for morning services. Depending on the service and your pet's needs, I will spend as much time as they need whether it be a brief or long walk, cuddling on the couch, etc. I will be working part-time starting April 14, 2024. I will have a schedule ready sometime afterwards. Hopefully it will be in the next few weeks. I will keep your pet indoors for the most part, depending on the pet. I prefer to keep dogs on a leash when they go out for walks and to potty unless there is a fenced in yard.

“Kristin was an excellent walker for our black lab, Chief. He can be a handful at times, but he took to Kristin straight away. She fit us in last minute, was on time, and sent us beautiful pictures from their walk. Looking forward to having her walk and dog sit in the near future. Thanks, Kristin!”

Tiffany J.
“Tiffany’s been taking care of my 4 cats while I go on vacation for almost 10 years now. When I go She comes to my house 2 x a day ( morning & night) to clean the litter boxes, feed them, give them water, and snuggles. When I come home from vacation the litter is clean and cats are happy. Never once had any issues or worries. She’s very reliable, responsible, and trustworthy. I would recommend Tiffany to take care of anyone’s fur babies !”

Madison G.
“Ivan is one of the sweetest individuals I have ever met and so good with animals! I don't trust my pets with many people, especially since my older dog has on set dementia/ health issues and doesn't like people but he loved Ivan instantly. Ivan has stayed in my home and taken care of my 3 pets like they are their own and given them the love and care they needed. I trust Ivan fully with my babies. And Ivan is one sitter I would highly recommend! The compassion they have for animals is unmatched!”

Marisa R.
“Marisa is a wonderful human who cares deeply about animals and their well being. She is kind, patient, and calm, but is able to enforce boundaries needed in order to keep pets safe. I have seen her care for cats, dogs, birds, and frogs first hand and I trust her to take amazing care of my pets any time. You can rest assured your pets will have the individual care and attention when Marisa is looking after them.”

Rachel F.
“As long as I have known Rachel, she has always been around dogs and has been the best dog sister/mom. I love how she treats her current fur baby as the cutest travel companion. Rachel and her fiancé take Pickles kayaking, hiking, etc. That pupper isn’t left out of anything. She truly cares for all animals and is always willing to help us out with our dogs when needed.”

Emma M.
“Emma is a reliable, attentive care taker. She is a true animal whisperer and really simply “gets” animals. She iis trustworthy and has helped our family out many times. If you are looking for help to care for your animals, she is your person. If you want help or guidance with training a dog, she is definitely your person! You’ll be happy you hired her! We would still be using her is she lived in our area.”

Katie S.
“There are not enough words to describe the wonderful care Katie provides to my pets. I am NOT an "easy" customer and have very high expectations regarding their care. Katie is the ONLY reason I am able to travel away from home with confidence and peace of mind about the care my furry family is receiving. Katie has been my go-to pet/house sitter for over 15 years. I currently have 2 very high maintenance, mischievous Boxers who require enormous amounts of attention and supervision. Katie's relaxed, gentle approach with them is perfect. I dont know how she does it but when I return home my crazy boxers are completely chilled out, and CALM and I swear my house is cleaner than before I left!! I was recently left marveling as she was even able to trim my male boxers nails which I have never been able to do! =0 Katie recently provided care to my aging boxer, Harley (RIP) who had doggie dementia. She required daily medication and hand feeding several times a day. Katie provided regular updates on how my old girl was doing and I knew Harley was getting lots of extra love and cuddles. Katie is kind, dependable, respectful and most importantly, in my book - unflappable. She treats my pets like they are her own and makes every effort to accommodate my sometimes last minute needs for pet care. Her passion for all things animals is obvious and her experience with animals is extensive. She routinely goes above and beyond to provide excellent care and even took one of my dogs to my vet for an emergency visit while I was out of town. There is no one I trust more to handle my pet care/house sitting needs. Whether for extended stays or drop ins to stretch their doggie legs, get plenty of ear scratches and belly rubs, Katie is the one! Our dogs ADORE her and so do we!!! <3”
