“Cannon stayed with Jennifer 2 weeks, the longest he has been left with anyone. She communicated with pictures multiple times a day, took him on walks, to the dog park, farmers market. He was engaged with play & other dogs. Looked like he had a great time. She also brushed him like I do on a regular basis. She & her family are great with Cannon.”

About: We’re big dog people and absolutely believe that pets are family. We have our own dog and have loved caring for the dogs of family and friends over the years. We also use Rover ourselves, so we know how important it is to find someone you genuinely trust to take care of your pet. We want to provide that same feeling of love, care, and peace of mind for other pet parents. Our goal is for your pup to feel happy, comfortable, and right at home while you’re away! 🐾❤️ My husband and I both work full-time, but I’m a teacher, so I have more flexibility during the summer and school breaks. We’re also available most evenings and weekends throughout the year. We love spending time with dogs and are happy to give your pup plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and cuddles. We’ll work with your schedule to make sure your dog gets the care and attention they need while you’re away. We want every pup in our care to feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. We have a fenced-in yard and our own friendly dog who loves having company! We’re happy to keep your pup’s normal routine, whether that means specific feeding times, walks, crate time, or anything else that helps them feel comfortable. We’re also happy to meet beforehand so you and your pup can get to know us and make sure it feels like a good fit. As Rover users ourselves, we know how important it is to have someone you truly trust caring for your pet. Pets are family to us, and we want you to feel that same love and peace of mind while your pup is with us. We’ll keep you updated with lots of pictures along the way, too! 🐶❤️

“We could tell that Stella enjoyed her time with Betsy & Gordon and their children. We were very selective in our selected sitters leading up to our European vacation. This was our first out of the country vacation away from Stella. Betsy and Gordon provided us with great communication leading up to the booking, and great communication throughout. Easing my fur momma worries. We hope that Stella will visit again soon!”

“We had a family medical appointment that was out of town. Our usual sitter was out of town and our back up was full. Breanne responded quickly to my questions and was able to watch my boys. The home had a fenced yard where they could run around and the boys had 2 dogs to play with. When we picked them up, both boys were exhausted to the point they slept for the rest of the day. On top of that, I didn’t realize I booked an extra day. She made sure to contact rover and adjust the reservation so that I would not get charged another night. Thank you for making a very stressful situation better. But on top of that she sent pics of the boys, so I knew they were in good hands!”

“Lisa took great care of Lulu. It usually takes her a few days to bounce back to normal after boarding, but after the week with Lisa she was her normal self right away. Eating, sleeping and playing like her normal self. Lisa was also great about communicating with us during Lulu’s stay with her. Will definitely book with Lisa again.”

“This was our first time boarding our 5yo coonhound since she was 1yo. We had some nerves about how she would do away from us, but Angie was amazing! She cared for Grace as if she were part of her family and made sure she was comfortable with the other dogs. She kept us up to date on her status and even sent some sweet and hilarious pictures and videos. We would absolutely book time for Grace with Angie again in the future.”

Early morning, mid day and evening. Your furry friends will join me on my walks and have 30 mins individual play time x 2 during the day and before bed time. I have a fenced yard and a small friendly dog that will keep your dog active at all times. Water will always be filled up for them to sip on. Sunroom to keep them comfortable at all times when weather permits. About: Hi! I’m Krystal, and I’ve been caring for pets for over 13 years. I provide dependable dog walks, drop-in visits, and in-home pet care for dogs, cats, seniors, and multi-pet households. Whether your dog needs a midday walk while you’re at work, your puppy needs a potty break and some playtime, or your pets simply do better with a consistent routine, I’m happy to help. Visits can include walks, potty breaks, meals, fresh water, medication, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of attention based on your pet’s normal routine. I also have experience caring for senior pets and pets requiring medication or a little extra patience and support. After caring for my own senior dogs, I understand how reassuring it is to have someone dependable who will take the time to get to know your pet and their individual needs. I’m available for both occasional and recurring weekday walks and drop-ins and love building long-term relationships with pets and their families. My goal is for you to feel confident that your pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care is my full-time focus, and I structure my days around the pets in my care. My daytime schedule typically includes walks, drop-in visits, errands, appointments, and other everyday commitments. For boarding and house sitting, I spend plenty of time with your pet throughout the day while balancing my scheduled visits and commitments. Because of this, pets should be comfortable spending some time independently while I’m out. I also offer complimentary meet & greets so we can connect, review your pet’s routine, and make sure we’re a great fit before their stay! Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I do my best to maintain their normal routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and settled while you’re away. For boarding, I provide a comfortable home environment and follow your dog’s feeding, potty, walking, and sleeping routines as closely as possible. Favorite toys, treats, and comfort items are always welcome! In your home, I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding, walks, litter care, medications, playtime, and household preferences. I’m also happy to reinforce any training or routines you’re currently working on.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.

Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.

Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.

During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Burgoon home-away-from-home, packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
  • Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Burgoon.

<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

You and your Burgoon sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
