About: I have dog sat all types of dogs biggest being a Great Dane and the smallest a Chihuahua. I am very open to dog sitting any dog! I am currently working full time at the college of dentistry but I get off work at 5 everyday and have weekends and holidays off. I live in an apartment so I wouldn’t be able to board your dogs but I am very respectful of someone’s home and will take great care of your dogs.

About: For years my daughter and I volunteered at a no-kill shelter fostering and adopting out dogs and cats. This gave me experience with several breeds. I work Tuesday through Friday from 8-5. My office is very close to the house and I am able to come home everyday for lunch. I have lots of time to spoil your pets! I live in a condo with a very large yard. Your pets will have the run of the house. I have one cat that rules the roost!

About: I showed pitbulls semi professionally when I was a teenager. I have lived on a farm most my life so animals and I always get along. I'm currently working from home as a Game Developer. I am on a rugby team that practices Tuesday/Thursday 6-8pm and games on Saturdays, so there are a few select times I'm not available. I have a Husky who loves making new friends and 2 cats that are indifferent to others. I enjoy spending time with animals whether its cuddles, active play, or just sitting in the room so they aren't lonely.

About: Starting in 2020, I spent a few years on the road doing a variety of gigs, primarily animal transportation. I got to see the entire country and meet a ton of awesome animals - mostly dogs & puppies, but rabbits, kitties, lizards, too. I have since planted my flag in Galesburg, IL, and am hoping to build up a clientele of regular check-ins here in this area as I build a home for myself off the road. I am happy to book new clients through Rover, but I do most of my gigs through direct booking after the initial sit. Since Rover keeps 20% of a sitter's fee, please consider tipping in full to make up the difference. Upon meeting new clients, I would like to let folks know that it is common courtesy to compensate a potential sitter if they are traveling from out of town for a meet & greet. It is not expected but greatly appreciated to offer to stock the fridge for overnights, especially for longer sits. These are things I have learned from my favorite clients, families that have taught me how to make a happy living caring for their beloved households. Dogsitting is what I do for a living. I don't mind driving out of town for overnight gigs with appropriate compensation. Just ask and let's see what we can set up. For overnights, I like to keep handwritten notes throughout the day and have little photoshoots here and there. I prefer to check in via text at the end of the day w some nice photos and a brief summary of the day's events. My clients enjoy reading the full report when they get home.

About: Hi! My name is Amanda. I have worked in doggie daycare, worked as a bather and in the sales department! At work I got to experience different breeds, temperaments and personalities! My favorite part of my job is building strong relationships with the owners and their dogs! I also have experience dropping in homes while their owners are at work, school or out of town. When I do drop ins I have taken them on walks, picked up after them and fed them. I absolutely love working with all animals! I am known to have great communication skills, I am compassionate , and I am responsible. I pride myself in those traits and look forward to building a relationship with you and your family member! I do have a full time job working with adults with intellectual disabilities. Mon-Fri I do work from 730am-4pm. I am still available during the weekends and can also do house sitting during the days that I work! I will follow their daily routine and make them as comfortable as possible while you are away. While walking them I will keep distance from other animals to ensure their safety. I will also follow all dietary needs and feeding schedules.

About: I have worked 3 years in the kennel business and am now a manager. I have had a love for dogs and cats ever since I was young and love caring for all types of breeds regardless of age, size, or anything else! I am currently working split shifts with a varying schedule- so my flexibility depends on what week you catch me! I can stop by for potty breaks or come and do a daycare or stay! I will mostly provide services at the clients house since I have 2 pups of my own! I am more than willing to follow instructions and comply with any safety measures that need to be taken!

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, I’ve done dogsitting gigs for 5 years on weekends and in the summers. Walking, feeding, watering, playing, and of course cleaning up after the dogs. I love taking walks, so going on walks with dogs makes it so much better. Four years ago, I helped my parents when they got a new puppy, and cared for it, learning how to take care of dogs on my own, another reason why I love dogs. I love the energy, and the happiness dogs bring off to humans. I’m a teacher in the summer with all the time off to take care of pets! During the school year I enjoy taking care of other pets as well! I treat pets at my home or a clients home as the nicest way I can. With knowing it is my clients dog, I will always do my absolute best to give it all its needs, and make the dog as comfortable and happy as possible. About: I am responsible, reliable, caring and trustworthy. I have struggled to find the right pet sitter in the past, and to find someone that was available when I needed them. I would love to be that person for you, and able to help you out when you need it most. My pets are my world, so know I would treat yours like their my own and love them just as much as you do and make them feel at home. I know how hard it is to leave your pets alone with a stranger so I like to always do a meet and greet before watching your pets, so I can get to know your dog and you before taking that responsibility and giving you peace of mind! I want to point out I have a full time job, I do work 7:30-4:30, and work from home Wednesday to Friday. Please keep in mind when you’re booking with me. I’m free on the weekends and most weeknights. Most Thursday and Friday nights is iffy because I bake for the farmers market and sometimes have too much to do to be able to help out those nights. Please feel free to message me with any questions I love nothing more than making my own dog happy by having other dogs over to play and love being able to spend time with other people animals and give them the attention they need when their owners are out having fun. I would love to know if your dog needs kenneled or can stay out if I am gone, or to know what I need to do for them if I need to leave them. I would be able to take them on walks, play with my dog, anything you want I can do. I won’t take any dogs to the dog park.

About: I love both dogs and cats like their my own. I have 20+ years experience with caring for pets. I have experience with walking, bathing, brushing, and playing with cats and dogs. I have a day time job Monday-Friday 8-4:30pm. I would be able to take the dogs out before work, and when I get home. My husband works from home 2-3 days a week and would be available to be home to take care of your fur baby during every Thursday and Friday. On the weekends, I am able to take dogs out at at least every 2-4 hours. Thursdays/Fridays, my husband will be helping me with potty breaks while I am at my day job. I do not have a fenced in area, but will take your fur-baby out as often as needed between my husband and I both. We will use a leash to keep your pet safe!

About: I’ve had numerous animals in my household my entire life from cats, to dogs, to hermit crabs; I’ve done it all! I’ve also worked in animal shelters and have helped establish a loving and safe environment for all animals! I am currently a student at Augustana College but have a flexible schedule so I can give your animal all the attention that they deserve. Back home I have one Yorkie who is the sweetest old lady ever! She is not with me at school but growing up around animals I have learned how to give them the proper love, attention, and time that they deserve. About: Being in the military not only have I had special training with bigger dogs but also having close relatives with ESA (emotional support animals) I have always been very close and caring of animals as they are the most pure hearted things on the planet Currently all days are available and am willing to watch on weekends as well animals are the key to the soul and I’m excited they are apart of our lives I live not to far from a dog park and have many toys and space for animals I have a caring girlfriend as well who is very supportive of animals

About: Sierra has over 20 years of pet care experience between having a range of personal animals and then going into an animal career. Sierra worked as a kennel and vet assistant for a shelter for 3 years before grooming for 9 years. She still is grooming from home. Sierra is experienced in animal CPR and first aid. Very experienced with administering medications and working with nursing animals up to senior special needs animals. Sierra has had chinchillas, rabbits, birds, bearded dragons, snakes but of course dogs and cats as well. Lucas is an avid animal lover. His animal experience comes from his own personal animals as well as he has been pet sitting for a few years. He is very active and works their energy out through long walks, hiking, and playing with toys. Lucas has had bearded dragons, snakes, dogs and cats as personal animals and loved every second of it! We believe having someone do it from Rover provides a more personalized quality of care. They recieve a lot more attention and affection through private sitters than they do in large facilities. We work together so that we can accommodate everyone's wishes. We have super high expectations of care for our animals and we like to give those same standards to those we do pet care for. We are an all around animal fanatic. We love them all furry, fuzzy, hairy, feathery, and scaley. We believe when Pet parents are on vacation their pets should be too. We fully believe in spoiling and going above and beyond. We love taking dogs to the dog park and walking in all different parts of town. We have a cat room set up in our house with tons of toys and furniture to fully satisfy their needs. We believe in animals having a lot of love and affection, especially when they are already experiencing distance from their favorite people. Animals are not only something we are very passionate about but what we have revolved our lives around. Lucas is home all day and would be available to do 24 hour care. Sierra grooms Monday through Friday 8am until 12pm-1pm. If your pet care ends on the weekend and you want your pet to be groomed, arrangements can be made. I keep all dogs leashed when outside to guarantee their safety. I recently got a fenced in dog run that I monitor dogs in so they can be off leash. I never leave pets unattended. I can kennel dogs to keep separate if needed. I am also trained in animal first aid.

About: I’ve owned any animal and am very passionate about what I do I work at an animal shelter no dog is to big or to small. Im usually off at 5 pm on weekdays but currently on leave for a short while so my schedule is pretty open for about a month. I will not be able to sit in my own home due to my animals not being aclimated towards other fur babies but I am happy to come and sit

About: I’ve taken care of many animals since I was just a little kid. I’ve always held a special place in my heart for dogs, along with small critters. Just recently I moved from Wisconsin, working at a humane society there where everyday I did all the basic care routines/evaluations for approximately 40 dogs. It was a blast, but I’d also love to slow down, and give 1 on 1 attention to the needs of each. I am currently a pretty free person, beginning my career of dog training, Bait’s Purpose: K-9. I plan my future around my dogs, and training. I care for pets however is requested by the owner(s), this just varies on what each dog is comfortable with. Dogs are in great care, however.
