She was also open about how her pet sitting style was approached in her home and property. In addition, it was quite apparent that the dogs they sat would have plenty of outside exercise, love and attention, as well as freedom to be a dog. Lydia loved romping around in the snow, lying in front of their fire place, and interacting with their dogs. We also learned that our dog is pretty corteous to cats, but very interested. Their four acres of land and stream are a definite amenity to an active dog's lifestyle. About: Dogs are my main focus and joy. I've raised puppies and provided end of life care. I keep a good feeding, naps, exercise, and training schedule. I have experience giving medication and supporting recovery from surgeries and illness. I am retired and available to watch dogs any time. I am flexible with weekends and weekdays. I am willing to travel some distance to care for dogs throughout the week. I have a fenced in yard with a ramp from the deck. I am able to come to your home to provide dog cares as well.

About: I have always been an avid animal-lover. From childhood into adulthood, I have owned and cared for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, birds & fish. My family & I currently share our home with two dogs, a bearded dragon, a Russian tortoise, & a ball python. I have several years of professional work experience in animal care (zoo, kennel care, walking, basic grooming) and wildlife / parks & recreation—both of which are relevant. I enjoy the outdoors and keeping all of our furry (& scaly) friends happy. I will board dogs, small mammals, reptiles & birds in my home! Upon request, I can do drop-in visits for cats or exotic animals within a 15 mile radius. I am currently a stay-at-home mom & so my schedule allows me to be at home majority of the time. If I need to leave the house, it’s never for more than a couple of hours. I have a large four-story home, which provides amble space for pets to play or to be separated if need be. I utilize crates for dogs who need or prefer it. Our yard is unfenced, so I use slip leads and tie-out cables for potty time.

About: I can walk, doggy-sit during evenings and weekends. Prior military knows how difficult it is to trust others to care for your dog. Always a concern of mine when I had to go away for any period of time and so am empathetic to that type of worry and concerns. I can also offer overnights, my home or yours, and negotiable for longer periods. I grew up with dogs so am not intimidated by even the large types, but will need to overnight at your home if the dog is over 40lbs. I have a small female franchie that loves other dogs, cats and people. I work from home most days so can have your dog at my place while you work or are out. My frenchie goes out every 4-5 hours, working from home makes that more convenient. If your dog needs to go out more often it is no problem. My dog is also not allowed to have food constantly, she is fed 3 times a day and sometimes a treat or two, mainly to control her allergies. I have an apartment, the bedroom has carpet but the rest of the apartment does not so I keep my frenchie out of bedroom due to her allergies. If you have a dog with allergies I am familiar with medications and anything else you might need. I have 6 years of experience specific to the bully breed and 10 years or more with other breeds. I prefer that you can drop your dog off with me but can discuss if you need me to pick them up. I also can only take one animal at a time daily.

About: I have taken care of many different types of animals from dogs and cats to even farm animals since before I can even remember! Neighbors, friends and family have trusted me to care for their animals while on vacation, or even just when they have a long day at work! I’m a full time dental assistant during the week but have Fridays- Sunday off! Also open for many holidays and extended days. I have many open that I’d love to fill with pet sitting! I love being outside and spending time with animals such as going for walks or even just sitting outside enjoying the sunshine! I have no problem following any special requests that may be needed for you and your pets!
