About: I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes for neighbors, friends, and family while they were away for days at a time. I really enjoy making pets feel comfortable and cared for through walks, feeding, playtime, and attention, and I’ve also helped with daycare and grooming pick-ups and drop-offs. I’m currently not working, so I have a very open and flexible schedule to provide pet care full-time. I don’t have children or pets of my own right now, which allows me to dedicate my full attention and care to the pets I’m watching. I’m available for a variety of needs, including walks, drop-ins, and overnight care. I do not have a fenced-in yard, and I live in a quiet private home/villa in a safe neighborhood. All outdoor time is always supervised and on leash to ensure pets are safe at all times. I provide a calm, structured environment and closely follow each pet’s routine, including feeding, walks, and any special instructions from owners so they feel comfortable and cared for like home. I treat every pet as if they were my own, with consistent attention, patience, and care throughout their stay.

About: Hi! I’m Brooke, a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet owner. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. I currently share my home with dogs of my own and have experience caring for pets with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply sticking to their normal schedule, I’m committed to making them feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. As a former operations executive, reliability, communication, and attention to detail are second nature to me. You can expect prompt updates, photos, and honest communication throughout your pet’s stay. I know how important peace of mind is when you’re trusting someone with a beloved family member. I am comfortable following detailed care instructions, administering most oral medications, maintaining feeding schedules, and ensuring your pet receives the individualized care they deserve. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, allowing me to provide frequent attention, potty breaks, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. I have a flexible schedule and spend a significant amount of time at home, which means pets in my care are rarely left alone for extended periods. I enjoy incorporating walks, playtime, and enrichment activities into each day while maintaining the routines and structure pets are accustomed to at home. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, triggers, and any special care instructions before their stay or visit. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise requirements, and household rules to help pets feel comfortable and maintain consistency. In my home, pets are provided with a safe, clean, and comfortable environment with plenty of attention, supervision, playtime, and opportunities to rest. Introductions to resident pets are done thoughtfully and at a pace that keeps everyone comfortable and safe. In a client’s home, I treat both the home and pets with the utmost respect. I follow all care instructions, maintain security by ensuring doors and gates remain secure, and provide regular updates with photos so owners can have peace of mind while they’re away. I understand that every pet is unique, and I strive to provide personalized care that helps them feel safe, happy, and loved throughout their time with me.

Someone will always be home that you meet during the meet n greet to ensure your animals are taken care of. It fits my schedule Tuesday through Friday I work 7:30am to 2pm sometimes done before that. Daughters are at school during the day. I will make sure that fences are shut, doors are shut as well as making sure theres no holes in the fences for them to squeeze through.

I have done drop ins, pet sitting, bathing, giving medications, and dog walking! There is nothing I can't or won't do. I love to help out! I am currently working as a registered nurse Friday-Monday. I am available Tuesday-Friday from 6am-7pm. I am open to assisting with emergency drop ins when you are in need! I have two large dogs that I care for at home. About: If we’ve ever been at a social gathering together, I was the girl hanging out in the corner petting the dogs! I love all dogs, but large and extra large ones have a special place in my heart. I’ve been lucky enough to have many dogs throughout my life, but currently have a Saint Bernard and a Great Pyrenees, both of which I have raised from puppyhood. Having had many big dogs throughout the years, I have become quite familiar with what it takes to give them a good life. I also have experience in many stages of dog life, from puppies to senior dogs, and conditions like arthritis, blindness, and even severe anxiety. I have learned from having my own dogs that it can be really difficult to trust your babies with a stranger. But I want to provide care for your dogs just like I provide for my own- lots of attention, gentle care, and a feeling of safety. And I want to provide YOU with peace of mind, whether it be for your dogs getting a daily walk, check-ins while you’re at work, or overnight stays while you’re out of town. Please reach out to me if you have any questions about my services and I’d be happy to help you come up with a solution that works for you and your pup(s)! I currently work in a freelance fashion so my schedule is typically pretty flexible. I am available most days and times, but this may vary from month-to-month as my work projects evolve. Please reach out to me if you have any questions about certain dates/times! In my home, I have two dogs- a Saint Bernard and a Great Pyrenees, both of which love other dogs! They can often be found snoozing around the house for most of the day, or cuddling with us on the couch in the evenings. If your pup joins us for a night, you can expect us to treat them like one of our own as long as they are comfortable with that! If you prefer your dog be crated or kept separate from my dogs overnight, that is totally fine and I can definitely accommodate that. We have a very large back yard with plenty of space to explore (on-leash as we don’t currently have a fenced-in area). I take my dogs out 3x/day minimum but can take yours out as much as needed per your request. For puppies and some senior dogs, I understand the bathroom frequency is much higher. Because of the nature of my full-time job, I am home most of the time and will likely only accept boarding/daycare when I am planning to be home for the full time. If I should need to leave for a short period of time, your dog would likely be crated or kept separated from my dogs to avoid any potential issues (not that I suspect there would be any, but better safe than sorry!) For dog walking services, I can come to you, or meet you and your pup where you’d like! Depending on what’s available near you, this might look like walking around the neighborhood, or heading to a nearby park for some exercise. If you’re interested in check-ins, I am available to come to you, although price may slightly vary depending on distance from my home. I can provide potty breaks, replenishing of food and water, and just general loving attention for your pup! If there’s any questions you have you don’t see answered here, please reach out!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 179 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Buckskin. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Buckskin. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Buckskin.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Buckskin. On Rover:

  • 100% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
