“Audrey was an amazing host for our pup, Popa, that we rescued only a couple of weeks ago. Given the recent adoption, we were nervous to leave her somewhere so soon. Audrey's extensive experience with dogs (and particularly rescues) put us at ease and made it such a seamless experience! As new dog parents she also provided us with some helpful tips. Popa obviously felt at home there and frankly I don't think she wanted to leave :)”

“What a great experience with my first time using a dog sitter for my very laid back dog, Lucy! The family listened and understood exactly what Lucy needed to have a great time! She absolutely loved this family, & so did I. They made me feel comfortable and relaxed about leaving her in their care! We have already scheduled the next visit!”

“i can’t say enough about how wonderful bonnie & joseph are. as soon as you meet them, you know your pet will be taken care of & then some! our dog is a very finicky eater; when she wasn’t interested in the food we brought, bonnie & joseph stepped into action, sharing their own dogs food & even feeding ours by hand first, until she eased into eating out of a bowl. that’s what i call 5 star service! this was our first time using them & we will definitely be repeat customers🥰🐶”

“Millie’s first longer stay with Ryan went great. She settled in well with him and took great care of her. He was also very understanding of our late pickup due to flight delays.”

“Samantha was wonderful once again. Came through for me in a pinch as well. Took awesome care of Niko and kept me updated. Very grateful I found her as my sitter.”

“Davina and her family were so good to Arnie I was afraid he may not come home! Very proactive and responsive communication and pictures so you know your fur baby is happy! She even made homemade doggy treats and personalized each dog’s initial! Beyond exemplary!”

“Kathleen is a fantastic dog sitter. We left our dog Lemon with her and he was loved and cared for like he was at home. He is usually nervous and scared when kenneled but he thrived at Kathleen’s. What a relief- her love for dogs is evident and she welcomed him like he is her own. There is now no worry to go on vacation and how the dog will do. We have peace of mind that he will be well-cared for.”
“Jessica is very experienced, accommodating and welcoming. Our puppy felt perfectly at ease with big dogs and was not stressed at all. Jessica provided pictures and videos throughout his stay and we felt that our little Frenchie was in perfect hands. We are already booking his next stay.”

“Vanda was terrific with Toby and I would highly recommend her! We needed relatively last minute boarding for our 75 pound Labradoodle and I’m so happy Rover connected us with Vanda! She had us over before we booked to make sure we were comfortable, was flexible with drop off and pick up and checked in sending us several videos of Toby having fun during our trip! She has a lot of land for the dogs to run outside and a very sweet dog of her own! Couldn’t have gone better and happy to give our highest recommendation! We will be rebooking!”

“Nikolaj kindly watched Luna during a difficult time in my life and I was confident that she was treated well. Nikolaj is very gentle and calm, which balances my high energy puppy.”

“I know Penny had a good time while in Sviatlana and Alexander’s care. They are very nice people who took wonderful care of my dog. Penny is going back again in ten days!”

About: Hey there! I’m Kaley, a lover of all animals! I have been around and working with animals nearly my entire life — rats, hamsters, birds, frog, horses, goats and of course, cats and dogs. I currently work in the veterinary medicine industry as a veterinarian recruiter, and work 98% from home. I currently have two fur babies of my own, Milo and Zima. You haven’t seen spoiled until you’ve met them, they run the household...and they know it. A future puppy is on the way, hopefully! I grew up pet sitting for a few neighbors which then grew by word of mouth — I eventually became my towns pet sitter! Whether you have cats, dogs, horses or more, I will provide the highest quality care for your fur baby, just as I do mine. I will cater to your animals needs — young dog that needs to run or an old pal that just needs to snuggle, i’m down for whatever! I work full-time, however am 98% remote, with limited work travel to veterinary conferences. I can work anywhere, anytime with my flexible schedule. My flexible schedule allows for me to spend all day with your animal(s) in your home or my home. I have an energetic Labrador, who likes to be friends with everyone! I have a fully fenced in yard, along with an in-ground pool that my Labrador loves to enjoy all summer long! There is currently a cover on the pool, preventing swimming. Regardless, dogs are not left unattended outside, no matter the time of year.

“Kelsie was an amazing dog sitter. She was so patient with our wild pup. We got lots of updates, and she gave Koa the time of his life. I give her my highest recommendation!”
“Brooke is an awesome dog sitter! Our 8 yr old Olive stayed at her home while we were out of town and we felt comfortable immediately. She is communicative, caring and very responsible. We loved getting photos and our dog was at ease as soon as she got there. Brooke’s home set up with a front fenced-in yard was perfect for our curious escape artist terrier. Olive came home happy and relaxed. Thank you Brooke.”

“I'm so glad our neighbor referred Olive to us! She followed Lola's daily schedule and kept us informed of her status via texts and pictures throughout the weekend. Although we missed our puppy, we felt like Lola was having her own fun vacation. Olive's house is very clean and the fenced in yard is perfect for small dogs. We will definitely be scheduling another visit with Olive soon!”

About: I am an animal lover and live in the New Hope area. I have over 10 years experience walking and caring for pets. My husband and I are frequent travelers and know the importance of finding a sitter who cares for your animals just as you would. I have experience watching all size and breeds of dogs, as well as cats and other pets and am happy to do so in your house or mine. I only take in one dog (or multiple from the same family) so that they can get all the attention they need while you are away. I treat your dog(s) as if they were my own. We have a large house and yard for your dog to take advantage of. I look forward to meeting you and your pet!! I work from home and have the flexibility to be with your pets during the day and night. My schedule is also flexible for walks if that is what you need! My number one priority is the safety of your pet. I love to take walks with them and am happy to let them out to play in your fenced yard.
“Barbara and James were great hosts for my pup! He had a blast playing on their beautiful property and I got great updates and photos during his stay. I will absolutely reach out to them next time for another booking!”

“Lesley was wonderful and professional! We could tell that our pup was very well-taken care of, and we really appreciated how communicative she was. Our entire stay with her -- from the initial reach-out, to drop-off, to pick-up -- was so smooth and easy. Thank you for your care and attention, Lesley!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Buckmanville home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Buckmanville.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Buckmanville sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
