“I needed someone to watch my dachshund for 3 days over a long weekend. I had no idea that 10 year old dachshund - who is a recent rescue - would receive so much more than just a place to stay. Linda did nothing short of transforming my dachshund from being dog reactive, to hanging out comfortably with her little pack. Linda knew exactly how to introduce my dog to hers, and build my dog’s confidence and socializing skills. I feel so optimistic now about my dog’s ability to learn to interact and have good manners. Linda is calm, patient, and has a spacious, clean house, and a charming garden area. Good vibes! She also upcycles cashmere sweaters into awesome doggie sweaters!”

“Helped me very last second with watching my pup when I found out the place we were going did not allow dogs. Flexible on timing and all of their dogs got along with my little 30lb beagle.”

“This was our first time using Rover and it was great. My dog came back happy, confident, and calm. Becky was so kind and helpful and communicative. Her dogs were great companions for my young dog. It was a great experience for us😊”

“Thanks for a great experience dog sitting my two girls. Another dog sitter had fallen through and I needed to find someone reliable and I found Sylvia and I’m very glad that I did. Thank you for watching them with such short notice and going above and beyond take care of them and give them exercise, as well as taking them to your art gallery event and just including them. I feel like I would highly recommend Sylvia and I hope that I can have you watch the dogs again if we come back to Ashland”

“My dog Loki has a blast every time he visits! Anika takes great care of him. Loki loves playing with the other dogs while he’s there. Every time we come to pick him up he runs back to play more. 10/10 Highly recommend!”

About: Dogs have always been part of my life, we always had a family dog or three growing up. After college I adopted a rescue into my own family. Our current dog Poppy was rescued at 6 months old, and just turned 9 years old. She's been professionally trained in truffle hunting. I'm a retired safety engineer and run a bed and breakfast on our property. This allows me take care of the dogs and the property all day long. We live on a few acres with our rescue dog Poppy. There is a fenced area where the dogs can play safely outside. There's also a large deck that the dogs love watching the wildlife from. I only accept up to two other dogs at a time so it's a quiet and relaxing setting in the country.

Dogs can sleep on my bed or on their own doggie bed next to mine.

“Suzanne went above and beyond. We coordinated a meet and greet before to ensure doggie compatibility. She was great with my service dog who can present highly anxious when she is not with me (her handler). We are rarely separated but hot spring activities here do not allow pets of any kind. This was a perfect way to care for my Coraline and also care for my body. I highly recommend Suzanne. She is super confident and very attentive.”

About: I have done community service with dogs at a dog shelter and have walked them, fed them, bathed them and much more.
