About: I have owned dogs, cats, chameleons, and rabbits throughout my life. I’ve always loved the companionship a pet provides and have enjoyed nurturing such loving animals. I am passionate about providing proper care to animals and have a calm and patient demeanor with them. I enjoy taking dogs on long walks and I also enjoy hiking with dogs to keep more with their energy. I believe in the proper care and treatment of animals and will make sure that all of my effort goes into providing the best care possible. I’m very flexible and willing to pick up and drop of at the owners convenience to save them travel. I am educator so my availability is before and after school and weekends! I live a very active lifestyle which fits perfectly when adding a furry friend into my routine! In my clients home I care for the pets the same way a family member would, my job is to make your pet as comfortable as I can while you are gone.

I'm also very active and can take your pet for hikes/runs all day long! With a flexible work schedule and no kids, I can easily fit pet sitting into my day. I am around most weekends and care for each pet as thought they were my own. I have a fenced yard and a quiet home in a safe neighborhood. Living on Orcas, I am close to beautiful trails and parks that are dog friendly.

I can make myself available in and around Orcas Island. Weekend animal sitting can be anywhere in the Puget Sound area. I give animals loving attention- lots of petting, play, positive tone. I am happy to feed, give medicine, brush pup as needed. I am both a playful and calm presence for the animals I have cared for. I will be doing a course in dog CPR/First Aid to add to my skill set for this work.

About: Hello! My name is Lauren and I have been taking care of animals on and off since I was a little girl. I have sat for puppies, seniors, cats, dogs, and everything in between. I have a bird and three dogs of my own, including a Saint Bernard. I love animals and I am hoping to get to meet some new ones. Right now, I am home from college in Seattle for the summer. I am currently taking bookings for any day of the week and at any time! Because of my flexible schedule, I am able to take pets on walks/potty breaks as often as needed. I always make an effort to tidy up toys or the home in general before leaving and I am very comfortable crating/feeding/playing with dogs of any size.
