About: I grew up on a “farm” where I was the main one in charge of feeding and watering the animals. We had most of the animals you can think of and probably some you might not. Cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, pigs, goats, a mini horse, quail, ducks, and even deer. I even enjoyed raising caterpillars. I work fulltime Monday thru Thursday, 7-5:30. I would be able to check on pets throughout the weekend, but would not be opposed to checking in on pets closer to home if I were asked. All of my cats are indoor only. All dogs I have watched have been in fenced in yards or had chains to let them out on. I have fed dogs at my friend’s homes separately due to food aggression.

I provide dog boarding in a quiet country setting with lots of open space for dogs to run and burn energy. Many dogs feel overwhelmed in busy boarding facilities, so my goal is to give them a low-stress environment where they can feel comfortable and cared for. I also provide updates and photos so you can see how your dog is doing during their stay. Caring for dogs fits very naturally into my daily routine. Because I’m located in a quiet rural area, dogs staying with me have plenty of space to get exercise and enjoy the outdoors throughout the day. My day typically includes multiple outdoor breaks, playtime, and regular check-ins to make sure every dog is comfortable and getting the attention they need. I keep a consistent routine with feeding, activity, and rest, which helps dogs settle in quickly and feel at home. Since I’m around throughout the day, dogs are closely supervised and never left alone for long periods. I also make sure to send updates and photos so owners can see how their dog is doing while they’re away. Providing a calm, structured environment with lots of outdoor time is a normal part of my day, and I enjoy making sure every dog has a safe, comfortable, and fun stay. When dogs stay with me, I focus on giving them a safe, calm environment with plenty of attention and exercise. I keep a consistent routine that includes regular outdoor breaks, playtime, feeding on their normal schedule, and time to rest so they stay comfortable and relaxed. Every dog is supervised closely to make sure they are safe and adjusting well during their stay. I understand that every dog has a different personality and energy level, so I adjust care to match their needs—whether that means more playtime, relaxed downtime, or extra attention. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, and at home while their owner is away. I also provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pet is being well cared for.

About: Yes. I’m a RN with an active license. I needed a pet sitter for my puppy when we got him. I noticed there was a huge need for pet sitters in the area. Pet Paw-rents have trouble leaving their fur babies with someone not only when it’s the first time, but even when you have done it multiple times. I can give you the piece of mind, that is a MUST, while your fur baby is with me. I’ve always been an advocate for anyone or anything considered vulnerable. That’s elderly, handicapped, children, and animals. Because they cannot defend themselves, much of the time. It’s important to be able to recognize signs of abuse/neglect, and stop it. Your pets are consistently given a loving, caring, nurturing stay. They deserve that! It’s hard enough being away from their Paw-rent, home, security, their safe place. They need patience, compassion, understanding, warm smiles, hugs. kisses, and lots of love to help fill that void. I have many years of experience working with animals, as a vet tech with a now retired vet from Waterloo, Iowa, and I used to volunteer my time at various rescue leagues, animal shelters. I can take animals with high needs, including ones needing medication admin, insulin, etc. I love all fur babies/animals. I have always had a pet growing up, including dogs and cats. Animals are such a joy. They bring me happiness! I strive to be the best at what I do! With that said, I know I’m not always going to do things right, to your liking, or how you would. Im not perfect. So please, if you have a concern, are/were unhappy, or simply have some insight to give, let me hear it! I cannot do better, get better, if I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, or could be doing better. Communication and transparency are so vital to me. I don’t say one thing and do another. I try to give every pet a customized, INDIVIDUAL, stay. All animals are unique, and just as different as you and I. It’s not a 1 for all here. I formulate a care plan for each pet I care for, striving to keep them safe, and their routine just as consistent as what they are used/accustomed to. It’s too confusing if you change everything up. What you can be sure of, is I will always do what’s in the best interest of the pet. ALWAYS! Thank you for entrusting your sweet babies with me! I’m currently only doing pet sitting so I have lots of time and attention to give to your pet/babies. Your pet(s)/babies will be my priority. I’m happy to keep detailed notes of your pets stay with me, as well as send photos, and updates often, and as much as needed. I will keep you informed. Safety is, has been, and always will be my #1 priority. I have the space and the help to keep dogs separated if they don’t get along or if that’s what has to be done to maintain everyone’s safety, without keeping them locked in a crate or a room all day. Letting them be “free” is what I strive for. This is very important to me as a sitter. I want to be different. Anyone can lock a dog in a crate or kennel them all day. I believe my business is not only better, but night and day difference. Are you a returning customer? First, is I will be offering access to a fur baby can to owners to log in and see what their baby is doing whenever they want during business hours. I am totally transparent and have nothing to hide, therefore I want my pet owners to know they can see their babies whenever works best for them, and it will give them the piece of mind they need. Will be visual, no audio (due to privacy issues) pics and videos will still be done, just won’t need as many. This is coming soon, depending on business:). Your pets are ALWAYS and Consistently given patience,love, understanding, compassion, and treats (lol). I give baths at no cost if your pet is with me for 3 + days. I supply treats/bones, etc. I have a “treasure chest” FULL of dog and Cat treats. Trust me, your fur baby will know exactly where this is! I have a pet and child free home. Only animals are sitter animals. I have a large corner lot fenced in back yard, treated for fleas, ticks, mites, mosquitoes, and other insects, quarterly. Home atmosphere for your pet most of the time. I strive for open and free. No locking them up unless I’m leaving home (which is very infrequently) at night if needed or wanted, crate training, owner request, and most importantly, briefly to maintain safety of all in order to go outside/potty breaks. I strive to maintain a free style sitter service, if having multiple pets from different families are being simultaneously boarded, and there are safety concerns, then I do my best to come as close to freestyle as allows. About: Growing up I have lived with dogs of all sizes and other animals such as farm animals my entire life. I know how to care for a pet to give them the best life possible, including all needed medications. Pets are family and they bring a lot of joy and meaning into our lives. I have a talent for taking great dog pictures, which I can send for updates! I believe dogs make our lives whole, so I will give your fur baby/ies the care and attention they need to stay happy and healthy. My 18 Ib long haired dachshund is great with other animals and loves to socialize with my parents dogs and dogs at the park, walks, shopping, etc.! I take Rico on morning walks every morning, afternoon, and then to the dog park every evening, I live close to our neighborhood dog park so I always take him there to run around and play fetch. I can also throw in a free bath. I always make time for pet care! I walk my own dog daily and my dog is in love with our friendly neighborhood dog park. I’m excited to help care for others’ pets when they are busy/unavailable. The majority of my availability is over the weekends; however, i have a lot more free time now so please message me to better arrange as I have a lot more flexibility. I have had many dogs growing up over the years and have a friendly long haired dachshund wiener dog of my own! I’m very close to my neighborhood dog park and have side walks I could easily take the dogs for a nice little stroll around the block. I’m able to crate your dog to fit their needs, schedule, and preferences. There is always water available, and will check by the hour for bathroom breaks, and can send you pictures and videos every few hours to inform you on how everything is going. I make sure to ask questions right away and as needed to best care for pets in all environments.

About: I am a veterinary student at ISU with experience pet sitting, caring for shelter animals, and clinical care. I am comfortable caring for pets with special diets and administration of oral medicine. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, and I have flexibility in caring for pets of varying activity levels. I can't wait to meet your fur baby! I have school on weekdays, but I'm available for walks during the lunch hours from 11am - 1pm. I'm also available after 5pm Monday - Friday and have full availability on weekends. Your pet's comfort is my number one concern so I have no problem coming to you or taking your pet to their favorite park. I'm comfortable walking larger dogs that pull the leash and explore or older dogs with limited mobility. My dog has a vestibular issue, so I'm experienced lifting pets to help them up and down stairs and getting into cars. I'm also experienced giving oral medication, clipping/shaving nails, and bathing.
