“Joan is amazing! I am the epitome of a nervous dog parent; worrying about my dogs barking too much, getting into things, or being underfoot. Joan was so communicative and proactive about getting to know our dogs and their routines that I had little to worry about. While we were away she sent updates and pictures that alleviated the rest of my concerns. Our pups were walked, snuggled, brushed, and loved while we were away. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!”

“Kelli, Shane, and family are very accommodating to our pup. It's great to know that our dog is well cared for and has activity there that he enjoys. They were also flexible with my travel changes. Very nice to work with.”

“Once again Jennifer and family took great care of Axel. He is always happy and tuckered out when I come to pick him up. Axel got to play with family dogs and meet new people with Jenn. She is a wonderful sitter and very attentive. Our furry family and I just love her!”

“Patty did an outstanding job with our dogs! She managed to communicate with us daily even though we were out of the country and difficult to get hold of. When one of the dogs became ill, Patty handled everything perfectly and went above and beyond to ensure that our pets recovery went well. Her pet handling skills were evident and very much appreciated! Highly recommend!”

“Christina is my go-to sitter in the Duluth area. Birch always has a delightful time romping through the woods with other pups and Christina regularly sends photo updates of Birch’s exploits. It’s really nice to know that while I’m traveling, my pup is getting a mini vacation of her own.”

“Jamie took great care of Opie, as usual. She sent many updates to ease our minds as he stayed with her shortly after a dental procedure. Opie loves to stay with Jamie!”

“I can’t say enough great things about how fantastic Rachel and her family were with our dog, Larry. He was there for 5 nights over the 4th of July Holiday and had the time of his life. Rachel was so good about sending lots of pictures that we really felt like we had a good idea of how much fun he was having. Rachel’s family welcomed Larry like he was one of their own and their 4 dogs did a good job of showing Larry how life on the farm works! They even took him hiking at the nearby Pattison state park and he played a lot of fetch in their meadow and swam in the stream on their property. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants their dog to have a great adventure!!”

“Lisa made us and our boys us feel welcome and comfortable from the beginning. She sent us updates and pictures of them while we were away. She was easy to get ahold of and responded quickly. We would recommend her to anyone and would definitely have her look after our boys again.”

About: While I have not been a professional dog sitter I have always been the one to offer to walk or watch my coworkers, family, and friends dogs.I absolutely love being around them, and can't wait to meet yours. In the past I have used Rover to find a sitter for my dogs when I am travelling with them. Having a safe place for them to be when I go tour around a new city is such a nice option to have. Sometimes this is a few hours other times an overnight. Hoping to be able to provide this for others. I have 3 dogs of my own, one shelter rescue and 2 foster fails. Luna, Ole, and Birdie have been great foster siblings to foster dogs I have cared for also. I have a fenced yard with enough room to play. I also have a few spare bedrooms so will have the ability to separate dogs if that is needed however I prefer to dogsit those that are dog friendly due to already having a few in the home.

About: I’ve been a pet owner since I was young. From fish and frogs to hamsters and dogs my love for animals has no limits. I’m a very energetic playful person, dedicated to keeping your furry friend happy. I’ve cat and dog sat for multiple neighbors around the block and each time was a great experience. I’m excited to broaden my pet horizons with you! I live in Duluth for the school year and have morning classes. i’m available for weekday walks, and all day on weekends. i can also stay at your house for overnights if that’s what you prefer! My space has a fenced in yard and a super friendly french bulldog that would love to play with your pet! As for your home, I am very flexible and am able to meet almost any of you and your pets needs. Communication is key, so just let me know how you would like things to go and I’m sure we can make it work!
